rafhell: why did they not come out to protest against boko-haram bombing. or don't they know that their actions and other muslim millitants and terrorist all over the world is what has tarnished the already tanished name of their dead prophet muhammedIslam is the religion of death ! These ppl are animals without consience. |

You are a pathetic loser! The hausas/fulani will never allow a yoruba iman to lead a prayer when they are present. They see you lots as inferior muslims. Arent you ashamed? 99.9% Igbo are christans. Fulani came through Ilorin, butchered your army and converted yo to Islam...Igbo got to lagos and almost bought out the whole lands in lagos...lilly livered puuusies! |
chyz: Stop deceiving yourself. They never refered to Igbos as apes. They recognized Igbos by their clans and that is only the clans that were neighboring them. Its good to ignore sometimes. |
berem: you dey mind am! If you follow his posts, you will notice he doesn't say anything good about imo state.always good at condemning but cannot provide solution.Okija is a well known lunatic on nairaland; He never says anything good about Ojukwu or even Anambra... Exotic, you will have to post a better picture because that one you posted is very blurred and you cant really tell the color. Besides,my point is that bini wear a different hat from the Igbo. We wear that very dark red one like this

alj harem:Shameless fool, when did the Igbo claim 60million ? And what did the topic say again. You are a block head! |
Why do have to come to nairaland of all places to discuss this? We have already existing thread where this topic has been beaten to death. And if I may ask; How do you know she is an "osu" and why didn't you ask what it mean. We aren't kids here, you know ? |
ChinenyeN: lolNnweta gi ebea agbawaa m gi onu afu iji achi ochi. Maybe am fhucking wrong... ![]() |
ChinenyeN: I guess your traditional counting system differs from ours then, because nnu is four hundred.Maybe,or you aren't accurate with the Ngwa counting system. |
ChinenyeN: 400. This is where traditional count stops, before million, billion etc. became recently introduced. Not quite; four hundred is "akpa ego n'abo. |
ChinenyeN: You sure?I hope so ...lol haven't been home for years ![]() |
killayut: Abagworo you are a FOOL and a very Old pig for that matter..Leave Rivers state alone before you find yourself given to Sipiri for food. Igbo OSU.See anger and frustration ! Abagworo go use his intelligence drive you into accident! Be careful. |
ACM10: 200 = otu akpa ego(very old Igbo)Wow; my mother used this term a lot. Nnu ego ili n'ego nabo=four hundred, two naira. Nnu ego ise= two hundred. I have never heard my mother use "puku","nari" nor "nde". Those are more like the modern invention. |
Mr Rector: Igbo = puku ndePuku is thousand, while Nde is million. |
mimifonwon: ewu mpama..i beg go brush your teeth before talking to me...yes my father is yoruba.. and so.. if you dont know your culture if i visit my mothers people...aka you igbos, you are suppose to protect me no matter what..second dont make me insult your life...ah ah..okibiri nwoko la eweghi oru aka... i beg shift.. thirdly i have the right to say whatever i want and just because you were raised in the igbo tribe dont make you one, it is known that many women..especially from your side buy children and lie to their husbands that its his, so you might even be yoruba by genealogy ...mtcheww mis guided...unlearned mkpi!!!You are grossly uncouth...I am done with you ! |
Anyone who really takes killayut seriously with this topic will do nothing more than make him or herself out as a fool. It is my hope and expectation that Igbo people on NL leave this topic alone for it to remain scanty and then whither.[/quote You have a point, nwa Ngwa. |
udezue: Ijo na 17 million? Then Efik-Ibibio must 25 million then. LolAs if we don't know that they aren't more than 4million...drunken fisher men with no shoes. |
killayut: Prior to the colonial era wealth in Ijaw land was measured by the number of Igbo people one was able to acquire in his or her life time. Igbo people so acquired were called Omoni apu. I do not know the exact meaning of Omoni but it does not necessarily mean servant or slave. The Omoni at that time would be given new Ijaw names after a hair shaven ritual. The Omoni becomes bona fide member of the house or family he or she was taken to and was never discriminated . One of such Omoni was King JAJA of Opobo who was acquired by the Amayanabo of Bonny, King Perekule. There are many Igbo Omoni in every Ijaw clan in the Niger delta. These Omoni Apu must be expensive to purchase since the number of such Omoni owned by a person was one of the factors that determined if some one was qualified to be a chief. When a single Omoni was purchased he or she was called OMONI-BO.why did ijaw alow white slave traders to enslave them, brought them down to the niger delta creeks and used them as errand boys in slave trades ? Why does ijaw men dress like clowns with fedora hat given to them by their slave masters ? And by the way you should direct that your silly question to the Aros,Isus and their likes. Most norther Igbos are of Nri lineage and selling a human being was considered an ABOMINATION ! |
agbotaen: well i dont blame you ,if it were in the past a uselss person from a useless un organised village like your self would not be talking to a royal like myself , my ancestors would have used you as sacrifice you stupid igbo goat , illolo ki wu, why are you trying to sell an expired product like igbo to ika people , when we have rejected it. or have you seen any notable ika king in any igbo ethnic organisation? or have you seen the likes of major general osokogu , whom your fellow greedy brothers murdered his daugther cynthia in igbo meetings , or nduka irabor, nduka obaigbena who said he is from the ika tribe in nigeria , or steve omojafor, or jim ovia , or dein of agbor . all these peopl have one thing in common and that is they are ika people , and to tell you the home truth ika people consider any nation with a tradition of kingship as an uncouth and low level people who lacks tradition .Why do benin folks call you "OvieIgbo" ? Why don't Ika understand a Benin man when they speak benin language but its the opposite with central Igbo ? Why is it that most Igbo from Anioma could understand 60% of ika dialects but the benin pp where you claimed ika ppl and culture originated from couldn't understand a word in ika and strongly believe you are speaking Igbo and are indeed Igbo ? Why is ika monarchs title "the Obi" and not "Oba" to correspond with your benin origin ? Why does ika monarchs wear the famous Igbo nze n'ozo red cap"okpu nmee" and not the benin chiefs kind of caps ? And by the way, what does "agbonta" mean in ika dialect ? If you can honestly answer all this question without sentiments then I will know you have some balls. Agbotaen,do not run away now! Answer my questions before I nail you ! |
Onlytruth: Actually I am about to start a thread that would question Igbo support for you to continue to enjoy offshore oil money (which is what gives most of you the stomach to vomit crap on this site). IMHO, unless there is something I don't see (and I hardly miss anything) I don't see what Ndigbo gains by supporting that policy. The truth is that Ijaws are strangers in the Niger-area;These ppl has no resememblance of any form to all the ethnic groups in Nigeria,so what makes them think the offshore crude belongs to them ? The north has made the same arguement and I reason with them. I personally feel that the 13% derivation policy should apply to only the inland oil fields. |
ijaw citizen: I'm starting a new thread titled "WHO SAYS THE IJAWS BETRAYED THE IGBOS DURING THE CIVIL WAR" Enough is enough for these igbos shouting everywhere that ijaws betrayed them.I can't wait, foool! |

Kenistry: if Orient leave d well dey hv developed in kogi state, will Kogi pay for the cost?I was gonna ask the same question about the developed well in I kogi; But why didn't they say anything before now ? Something in me tells me they are hiding something. That single well is not enough for them to carry out drilling and make kogi an oil producing state, while most blocks are located in Omanbala. So,this is what I think: ;This dummies think by orient drilling in Omanbala and one well from their side happened to be explored, the feds will automatically declare kogi an oil producing state, alongside Omanbala. I think I captured the picture, right here. If not,why would they erupt in anger GEJ declared Omanbala an oil producing state and claimed they are also a producing state(with one well) ![]() These were their dumb calculations; To ride on our surfering back to become an oil producing state, with a single well and still get the same amount of allocation....chaii,kogi peeepuluuu. Una get sense shaa! |
