Buckeyemedia1:
It was renewed in 1979, then Amended in 1999[/b]:

(1) This Constitution is supreme and its provisions shall have binding force on the authorities and persons throughout the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

(2) The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall not be governed, nor shall any persons or group of persons take control of the Government of Nigeria or any part thereof, except in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution.

(3) If any other law is inconsistent with the provisions of this Constitution, this Constitution shall prevail, and that other law shall, to the extent of the inconsistency, be void.

2. (1) Nigeria is one indivisible and indissoluble sovereign state to be known by the name of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

(2) Nigeria shall be a Federation consisting of States and a Federal Capital Territory.

3. (1) There shall be 36 states in Nigeria, that is to say, Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara.

(2) Each state of Nigeria, named in the first column of Part I of the First Schedule to this Constitution, shall consist of the area shown opposite thereto in the second column of that Schedule.

(3) The headquarters of the Governor of each State shall be known as the Capital City of that State as shown in the third column of the said Part I of the First Schedule opposite the State named in the first column thereof.

(4) The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, shall be as defined in Part II of the First Scheduled to this Constitution.

Your Nigeria is a fraud that can't last unless the state allows the different ethnic groups who are the original inhabitants determine their future.

By the way your number 2b(1) is a fools paradise because one law overides any law, which is the right for self determination and self defense;
All it takes is a disaster of a person at the helm of affairs to remind everyone why they should seriously take their future in their hands.

Politics / Re: Is Sani Abacha Still The Worst President by nthony10: 6:12pm On Jul 21, 2021
The economy was stable under abacha, his crime was the unconstitutional killing of dissenting voices and poor diplomatic relations with the international community.

But this present tyrant is on another level,

Incompetent
Lazy
Bigoted
A Religious extremist

They can only delay it but it can't be denied.

Little wonder the strong desire for separation is so prevalent.
Little wonder the Fulani fought tooth and nail to power. They obviously agree the country has expired and have resumed their conquest.

Op the average Nigerian doesn't love Nigeria that much and you can't blame them, the system doesn't encourage innovation and excellence but mediocrity. Not everyone has the ability to withstand that much resistance.

BTW the next generation will even be worse because they are learning from this current generation that you have to take care of yourself first.

We are yet to see an erudite lawyer as Gani Fawehinmi.

This is not the first time this man will disgrace himself in public.

http://saharareporters.com/2021/07/06/sunday-igboho-no-law-nigeria-backs-night-arrest-falana-says

Falana said, “There is no law in Nigeria that allows you to arrest somebody in the dead of the night when you are not planning a coup and you are not an armed robber.

The claim made by Falana that no Nigerian law allows the arrest of citizens at night is inconsistent with section 148 of the ACJA 2015. The use of “any time” for the enforcement of a warrant implies that arrest can be executed any time of the day, including at night.

It's amazing how a person can betray and sacrifice his people just to be governor for a mere 4 at most 8 years, forgetting that he will not always be there.

Politics / Re: Why Nigerians Should Be Left To Suffer by nthony10: 11:02am On Jul 01, 2021
Honestly the black race has a fundamental problem, being very comfortable with suffering.
It reminds me of a young man I used to mentor after school, he wanted to remain in Nigeria, saying that there's hope in this Country. long story short, I had to beat that mentality out of him and he's currently doing well somewhere else where his talent is greatly rewarded.

Just to let you know, I am Igbo and my dad was a captain in the biafran army.

But i can authoritatively quote that "if Col Ojukwu had a gram of Kanu madness+folly+Low IQ , he would have been overthrown and beheaded by the same comrades he headed and led in the biafran army.

How in this world would a NUMBER 1 ENEMY OF STATE , TO THE GIANT OF AFRICA , come to Africa from his British safe haven ?
If this is not foolishness tell me what it is .

You come to kenya ,lured by an olosho for a party sex orgy and foolishly feel you could just board a plane at the Kenyatta airport and fly back to Hearthrow ,London?

Kanu has lost the right to lead the broilers and rabbits in my pen , talk more of ipob worldwide...

So you believe the Olosho crap story. Sad
Politics / Re: Why Nnamdi Kanu May Be Released After Buhari Quits In 2023. by nthony10: 10:40am On Jul 01, 2021
OP please study Kanu to know why he is doing what he is doing.
You have not answered why a man will see all these signs and still attempt to return. We both know it's not for money or political gains because that can be gotten easily thru other means.

Most people always focus on his flaws as a person and deliberately overlook his message which he very clearly states everytime.

I think he has said it somewhere that he felt he was dealing with human beings (Nigerian government) not knowing they were savages from the way the military came after him in 2017. That's why he went on over drive because he has seen firsthand how the government doesn't play fair. I admit it's being naive but it's enough motivation.
Politics / Re: Will Nnamdi Kanu Death Bring An End To Biafra Agitation by nthony10: 10:23am On Jul 01, 2021
One thing is sure he can't be killed because that would be foolish of the government. He could be tortured though (it could be going on as we speak).
Killing him would grant the agitators the weapon they need to go all out and don't think the army can handle that kind of bombardment. What the government would try to do is frustrate him and IPOB psychologically by keeping him incarcerated and starving IPOB their influence through propaganda.

The issue is how he can meander through this case considering him being a political prisoner and how IPOB can fare in his absence.
