When will Africa move past armed struggle and go the diplomatic route to settle issues. Must it be about guns and wars. It's as if we haven't learned from the devastating effects of war. If some region want to go abeg let him go, instead of using enormous force of which you end up losing the region eventually. |
Old men deceiving themselves. Why have they not harnessed the oil since. Like the guy above, it's most likely groundnut oil |
They are trying so hard to hijack the Biafra movement |
If they want a house in GRA Onitsha they should pay for it and stop the unnecessary jealousy. It's clear they are just looking for an excuse but this isn't 1966. |
All I see is people that are deluded and heavily deceived. The only reason why they can't do anything is because if they try it, they know that it's the end of their precious oil. Northern Nigerian sweat indeed. |
I smell Fulani here |
Their eye Don clear. Nice work Saraki |
meolaniyi:My thoughts too, same with ibom republic |
Keyamo! Keyamo!! Keyamo!!! These people go use you throway o. |
thebosstrevor1:I see you avoided adding shelter and food, abi they don't pay for that also. Secondly, the government doesn't decide what to give the people, it's the people that tell the government what they need. Are you not ashamed that your president is traveling out for medical check-up in another country for a basic ailment. how can a country grow when the government is not investing in the basic education of its little children, what kind of adults will come out of those children in 20 years time. My argument is if you can say internet isn't a right simply because you think it's expensive to set up then you should also add food, shelter, primary education that are also expensive period. |
thebosstrevor1:please don't miss inform people, the internet, just like light, primary education, good health facilities food, shelter and even Twitter (freedom of speech), considering the fact that we have to pay for all these are considered basic human rights in any country because these are the basic parameters that run a society effectively, even north Korea that is good at violating human rights has enough sense to provide internet. any Country that doesn't provide these will definitely be left behind and stands the risk of chaos. |
You should also add light(power) to your list as not being a fundamental right that we have to pay for. Imagine the level of ignorance. |
What was he thinking that they would welcome him to the high table. Obasanjos description of him says it all. My joy is that everyone is beginning to know their history now, and there is an awakening in the minds of the people where everyone is begining to get back to their true identity, not the one given to us by some idiots in Europe/Cattle herders. |
All they needed to have done was restructure the country as early as 50 years ago and this wouldn't be happening. They must reap what they showed. |
![]() Don't mess with this upcoming generation. |
Imagine, Fulani will now take advantage and say they can come from any part of the country. |
It takes a mad man to effectively fight what another madman has put in place. Mad people everywhere ![]() |
In my opinion, nothing will happen, the best that will happen is they will be stigmatized, nothing else. |
It's a culture thing that started even before the slave trade. It seems we even can't explain it |
fozapi:No mind me Bros, na fight dey hungry me ![]() |
If you like have 100 of them, the constitution won't allow them do any meaningful thing |
Low level thinking. For the sake of contribution, yes the north has these things short term but long term, their poor will eat them alive because they have no industry, no plans for human capital development, no oil. Let's see if their good roads and railway and even refinery will save them. |
This is similar to the fate of Isaac Boro. So sad for him. |
mekaboy:Yes cut off mark is very important because it kills the cancer of mediocrity and rewards hard work. The billionaires are not the problem in fact they are a blessing to any country. We have billionaires everywhere in Nigeria that buy properties abroad so it’s not the argument. You still make the wrong assumption that all igbos must relocate to the South East or else they will loose their properties, it doesn’t work that way anymore my brother. I can understand why a billionaire won’t participation because they have a lot to loose but it doesn’t mean they are not in support. Lastly creating more states isn’t the solution because it creates weak entities further strengthening the ever incompetent federal government. |
Monogamy:Please let’s get something straight, this whole agitation to be a separate country has nothing to do with Kanu, like someone put it he is just a symptom of a larger problem. The same way we have billionaires from other areas of Nigeria is the same in the SE so they shouldn’t be the reason for the poor state of development there. Also There’s nothing like eldorado because even the north that has a lions share of development it is not an eldorado. Mabey you are not understanding the real reason, it has to do with the structure of the country where the south is less represented than the north in the NA, where those who are blessed with resources happen to be the least developed, a system where someone from Lagos or Porthacourt has to score 450 to qualify whereas someone in katsina just needs to have 200 to qualify for the same course. These and many more are injustices that just can’t be swept under the carpet. From my experience with them,An average easterner would choose to be poor and free than conditioned against his will, Mekaboy should know that. So to answer your plenty questions (even though there’s malicious intent inside) the Igbos are more than capable of handling themselves. Read what Obasiken wrote |
First things first, everything you wrote is most likely not going to be the situation, secondly no new nation that fought for its independence has it easy in the first few years but the always find a way out. Hope you know that the Igbos have access to huge foreign capital an also human capital to start up, hope you know that there will be countries that recognise Biafra and will be willing to partner, knowing the industrious nature of Igbos (in fact, there will be a scramble for early investors) Hope you know that Lagos government wont be so stupid to place huge tax on Igbo bunisesses so as not to drive away investors. They will simply migrate to a favourable climate Like I said, everything you wrote is not likely going to happen because this is not 1967 BTW, The Igbos have had it worse during the war and they still found a way to survive. |
This has nothing to do with politics but insecurity. |
If so then how did they change the 1963 constitution to this fraudulent constitution |
Unfortunately, the op's IQ doesn't match the topic ![]() These are the lazy Nigerian youths Their darling bubu was talking about |
This man is trying to save himself from the incoming chaos ![]() |
Living long doesn't always mean a good thing, the same way a short life span isnt always a bad thing, what is important is us fulfilling what we came on earth to do. Wicked people living long could be a punishment for them to either repent or suffer the consequences of their deeds (sickness, regrets) Also, good people could be allowed to die early for God to either protect them from corruption or call them home. All in all, it's the Will of God that is paramount an death is not always a bad thing. BTW I don't expect everyone to agree with me. |
