Back in 2012 during OLN when Kenya Airforce KAF used to do conduct sorties and airstrikes almost every month in Somalia, I always used to wonder what they were dropping cause I have never seen an image of an armed f-5 with air to ground capabilities.

This years KDF day, KAF f-5 armaments were full on display.
(Back in the 70's KAF was really locked and loaded, most of us just never knew this)

What has Kenya gained for it's people by having a British military base in it's country? All the major infrastructure development is done by the Chinese. I don't think the US or British have built anything in Kenya apart from making promises that they lie to them to make them do what they want.

Cessna caravan with ISR capability will also be deployed together with utility helicopters

USD 36.5 Million will be spent for the initial 6 months.

If the utility helicopter in question is the Huey II, they are mounted with guns to that will be additional air support

These multi unit ops can be tricky. Who has ULTIMATE operational control? Who far does his mandate reach among the different sub unit commanders?
Ie, if he tells say the UPDF bn commander to block the route of a retreating M 23 group and engage them and he says,"hell no!," what then?
This actually happened in S Sudan 2016. The commander of the peace keepers was Kenyan and ordered the Chinese on scene commander to secure a certain IDP camp in Juba where some female CIA agents had taken shelter amongst the displaced.
Because the US bribed Riek Machar to restart the war to halt China's advance in the oilfields the Chinese commander listened to Beijing ignoring the Kenyan general.
The infuriated Dinkas got their hands on the 5 or so female CIA agents IIRC they all needed extensive psychotherapy and surgery for cervical scarring.
