PoliticsRe: Why Nigerian Cant Have A Northern President Come 2015 by nuclearboy(m): 5:37am On May 12, 2013
pazienza: SW does not lack oil, ondo has got some oil,and i am sure that with better searching techniques, they will find more oil off lagos coast line. I also reckon that itsekiri will be with SW,itsekiri has got enough oil to help their yoruba SW kin and kith

SW doesn't actually need SE or SS,which is why i am always suprised to see them defending the unity of nigeria, when igbos talk of igbo republic.
I am Human, then Nigerian and finally Yoruba

I think we defend Nigeria because we look at history - the larger a Nation is, the stronger it is. And if you truly know the Yoruba, you'd realise the Egbas used to see themselves as one nation and the Ibadan as another and the Ijebu as yet another. However, TODAY, we are all Yoruba.

Expand that into Nigeria and you should understand the thinking in the south-west - ALL THAT IS NEEDED IS NEGOTIATION!

If we truly wish to progress, I don't think it is whether GEJ wins or not that matters now. Even if he does win, the cost on the future has to be considered. ONE DAY, a Fulani will get there again and if GEJ sits tight today, they too will. What we ought lok at is what to do to truly "take-over".

Anyway, GEJ WILL win 2015 "IF" he does a few things

1. STOP being divisive - Yorubas have the experience I detailed above and know the cost of War - few Yoruba will vote for a divisive President and GEJ has been that if nothing else. He courts hatred just for this alone in the SW.
2. fix power and we see the power (not make noise thru sincerenigerian etc)
3. Start "truly" fighting corruption (we are not kids to be fooled by "free elections, probes, committees"wink
4. Become Presidential (something is wrong somewhere. he made too many agreements to get to that seat. he needs to do an "OBJ" like OBJ did against the atikus etc and truly get in control) - people refuse to respect someone who doesnt respect himself

Else, census figures (whether true or false) have already given 2015 to the North and because of the noise and divisiveness, SW will vote NOT for the north, BUT against divisiveness (ergo GEJ) - we had 200 years of war and dont want war anymore! SS and SE cannot be burning bridges yet asking for friendship. I do NOT hate GEJ or MEKABOY or BABYOSISI but I hate people screaming "lets fight"
PoliticsRe: I Stand By My Statements And I Have More To Make.! (Video) - Asari Dokubo by nuclearboy(m): 4:46am On May 12, 2013
Cold blooded: I served in one of the creeks in Bayelsa state during my Nysc and I can tell categorically that it's not funny at all. These people have the fluid power of Nigeria(oil) but they lack everything.

If there is one thing I learnt from them is that they have strong hearts, they can die for a course they believe in.

As for the threats made by Asari, he is not just bluffing - he is stating a fact!
An average illiterate hausa/fulani marries a 13 yr old and she gives him 4 children in 4 years. At 17, she's "used up" and he kicks mumand children out and get a newer "model". Considering that many actually run these wives concurrently, one household can kick out 40 children (who take to the streets) in 5 years. A quarter million SUCH households will give 10 milion almajiris in that period. That neglected, deprived hate-imbibed army is what will be let loose presently.

I wonder how many children the SS has that they do not care about and are ready to "waste" in the same manner!

So yes, Dokubo is NOT bluffing but the cost will be to who? His own children (just as those of the President) are secured, ain't they? So his "courage" is really based on the sacrifice of the children of others. And how courageous really is he? What did he do when OBJ arrested him?

The noise about oil is simply noise - who gets benefit from it nowadays anyway? Aso Rock and GEJ's assistants, the greedy NASS, and then, who else? It simply doesnt get down to the people of Nigeria so let them start the war they feel in their minds will be fought on PS3 consoles - when North and SS have decimated themselves, they will understand that sensible people COUNT THE COST OF WAR before initiating it.

Why not rather use all the money dokubo and co are using to buy mansions in Abuja to develop industries, farms, etc in their SS rather than as they left it a wasteland? In fact, if they don't fight and die, they are bastardos
PoliticsRe: 2015 Presidency: Start Your War Now, Northern Elders Reply S/south Militants by nuclearboy(m): 4:24am On May 12, 2013
I honestly don't see how Dokubo is showing support for the President.

Seems to me that by daring himself to be arrested, what he is saying is that the President and all institutions in this country have no power over him - in effect, he said the gvernment of Jonathan is 1mpotent, said "he is just sitting down there and doing nothing" - Wow, what "praise" for someone you wish to remain as president!

Professor Ango and his NEF are another set of deranged dolts cut in the cloth of Dokubo. If a child behaves childishly, shouldn't elders behave like an elder? Why reply a thug like Dokubo?

Why are Yorubas afraid of Dokubo?
Mayne because people avoid insane people carrying machetes on the road.

Reasoning people hold such as him and Lateef Tokyo in the same mindview - halfway between that phlegm you spit out when your cough breaks and smelly defecation.

Compare the insane eyes, the roughness and the lack of etiquette - these are thugs, simple

PoliticsRe: To End This War In Nigeria Igbo And Yoruba Pride Must Be Swallowed. by nuclearboy(m): 5:53am On May 10, 2013
Prof Corruption: If the East and West genuinely worked together (my emphasis on genuineness), the North would sit up. There would be no choice but to redesign the Nigerian federation to accommodate "reason and common sense" because the alternative would be the Sudan solution. The North can not defeat a united South.

But that unity is far from being achieved because the South is always in constant competition with itself. The Yorubas want to outsmart the Igbo and vice versa. In fact, the phrase "Southern Nigerian" does not exist in genuine political sense and the Northern ruling elite are very much aware of this development.

The solution is political mobilization in East and the West. If there's a power block in the East as well in the West, not just a loose political party set up to grab power and tend to interests of few elites, I believe a time would come that reason would prevail over greed and selfishness.
Nice but I regret, this is NO postulation at all. In an ideal situation, maybe, but even then, it would still allow insidiousness to corrupt the fifth column that always exists in society thus bringing down such alliances.

The insistence that Yoruba "betrayed" the Igbo and the belief from us Yoruba that the even if so, the past is PAST, won't allow this be workable. Most of all, we have politics of SELF rather than for the state or the people.

I believe one man will change Nigeria by either starting from his region/state and starting to show others what it ought to be. Many examples exist in history - Jesus did it for Christianity, Spartacus for the concept of freedom, Mohandas K. Gandhi recently made 2 entire nations stop a potential war by refusing to eat till they stopped etc - it may be just around the corner or afar ahead but it is coming. What is sad is the timing of the internet - if such as us had the web avaliable when growing up 25 years ago, a lot of ridiculous information being bandied about as truth would have been trashed out before now and we'd be on the way to finding such a man or allowing him "if" he exists in our midst, to rise and show the way!

For now, these debates are forcing truth through - slowly BUT SURELY - of what will bring our glory to pass
PoliticsRe: Yoruba May Determine Who Wins The Presidency In 2015 by nuclearboy(m): 10:49pm On May 07, 2013
Interesting!

And even more interesting is the ongoing conversation. Let me illustrate . . . ....

Hausa of 2013: "Yoruba man, flease malaam, we served you twuu tames. Kingibe served abiola and we follow him. Atiku served babasanjo and we follow him"

SS/SE of 2013: "Ewu gambia, anuofia, you and your masters together are nothing - we SE are better than you and we SS own the oil. All of you and your awusa masters are leeches drinking our blood and therefore you must vote us OR we scatter Nigeria. And if USA, Russia, GB, North Korea, Israel and Lebanon didnt support you, we would have cancelled you all with your oily soup"

Yoruba man: "Hmmmmm, 2015 please come quickly"

15 Naira to the first person who sees where this is going to

MY POINT: Sensible people make alliances! Foolish people fart from their mouths in the belief that makes them look tough

These Opposition sef - only God knows how much they have stolen from Lagos state alone thats more than what PDP has stolen from the entire Nation (SWF, NNPC, Amnesty funds and Military votes towards Boko Haram etc included) that they can bribe the USA, every body that asks for responsible governance on NL and now even Soyinka, more effectively than PDP

PoliticsRe: No Threat Can Make Nigeria Hold Unto Gej's Failure In 2015 by nuclearboy(m): 6:51am On May 07, 2013
Tigerhead: You and I know that everybody in Nigeria agrees with you, thinks like you and is going to vote like you.

Why are these losers attracted to this site. When the vampire Buhari loses, they will come here and say "let's pretend that he won". Lunatics!!! Saints preserve us.
And you believe that as you do NOT agree with him, the rest of Nigeria also doesnt along with you? Anyone who doesnjt agree with you is a lunatic, bad, a loser etc - is that the type of divisive politics that will make people love this president?

Its senseless anyway to call others lunatics because they don't agree with you and that, aside threatening people seems to be all you do on this forum. Nigerians do NOT care who rules as long as its not a thug, a thug-enabler or one defended by thugs. What we want is a Presidential President, one who will restore Nigeria to her rightful place, one who leads Nigeria, not militants or an ethnicity, one who's works will catapult to glory.

Fashola, though not perfect, achieved this though now is seemingly slowing down, not by threats but by governance acts that everyone saw.

Stop the noise - nobody is moved by it. If the oil you keep making noise about was being used to make Nigerians lives more comfortable, your noise would make sense. But your "son of the soil" has removed subsidy and we see it reflected ONLY in militants and hangers ons pockets so go sit on a sharp knife oiled with crude oil, sideways.

Thats the message you need to carry back. Enough with the threats - give us GOOD GOVERNANCE cos thats what you promised

Can you "prove" such?

And why aren't you complaining about the bigotry that has that fuckface windbag arsehole dokubo threatening 170 million people if we all dont just line up and vote his choice?

Even though I was waiting to see this governments perfomance before deciding, these acts of ethnic bigotry have about convinced me that this government is the true definition of ethnic bigotry and doesnt deserve being voted for except by the SS - just so we prove that an ethnic government SHOULD have only its ethnicity's votes

PoliticsRe: IGBO Presidency....the March Forward To 2015. by nuclearboy(m): 9:10am On May 04, 2013
With so many truly brilliant brains, one would think the above ought be obvious! God knows I personally have as FIRST (even before Buhari) choice for presidency Oby E., a hard working no nonsense honest disciplinarian AND WOMAN rather than most all the vacuous windbags that I see in the terrain.

But first thought is "would any easterner not immediately seek for ways to split the Nation?" and how would anyone prevent the violence that would follow such from the less intelligent members of society who may decide such moves is another call to 1966 or "taking over Igbo properties since they are no longer our people?"! Its ridiculous how hatred has taken over our psyche to the point where we cant even assess reality and realise that we MUST remember and understand the past to be able to make a future. Yet no, they will come here now and say people love everyone else and hate only them! Well, they have their equals (mirrors) on this side anyway

PoliticsRe: How Is Your State Governor Fighting Corruption? by nuclearboy(m): 11:30pm On May 02, 2013
Prof Corruption: 1. You see how daft this fixation on Fasola is turning you to? Everything is Fasola this Fasola that, yet not a single word from me confirming or denying he's my governor. Stop your fixation on this man, you can't achieve much. What you are doing is tantamount to a Republican in US using all his might to fight in NY or CA, if there is any return at all it won't justify the investment.

2.There is no reason why Fasola should hand over his allocation to Federal government. If GEJ who pardoned criminals here and there to an extent that his anti corruption "war" is now a global laughing stock has not seen any reason to dole out his share, then why Fasola a renown and world acclaimed performer. If anything, we need Fasola to replace the man controlling the centre who has failed more than failure.

3.If Fasola and all other state governors embark on anti corruption drive, what becomes of EFCC and ICPC? Are you aware that EFCC was once the very fear of governors you are now recommending to be fighting corruption? Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu won a senatorial seat, abandoned it and fled to Brazil just to escape EFCC arrest. Fayose went underground for a whole year and Dariye simply disappeared. Alams was arrested, prosecuted and convicted only for your clueless, corrupt, daft and incompetent president to set back the hand of clock by dressing the pig in the robes of honour. Do you know EFCC arrested, disgraced and prosecuted the former IG of police-Tafa Balogun? Whatever your oga has done to EFCC must be reversed beacuse EFCC is now a shadow of it old self under the watch of retardeen. Pardoning corrupt elements, disgraced looters is to say the least demoralising to the efforts of folks who risked their lives to secure convictions of such unpatriotic elements.

4.Since you are a PDP apologist and your party controls the center, can you name just one governor in PDP who has a structure to fight corruption in his state. Just one governor! A governor with the equivalent of EFCC and the rest of your nonsensical policy you hype about.

5.Instead of your party to show good example, you folks continue to hobnob with convicted felons and criminals. IS Bode George, a convicted thief not a member of your board of trustees? If a Lagos indegene who is a renown criminal is dancing with the president in a show of shame, what do you want the governor to do?

PoliticsRe: Tattered National Flag At African First-Ladies’ Mission Office by nuclearboy(m): 9:37am On May 02, 2013
naptu2: I agree it needs to be amended, but it's not in the constitution. It's considered an act of the National Assembly. The National Assembly started the process of amending it late last year, but the bill has not yet been passed into law.

Sources of Nigerian law:

1) The Constitution

2) Acts of the national and state assemblies. (Decrees and edicts of military governments are now considered as acts of the state or national assembly)

3) Received English Law (Common Law, Doctrines of Equity, Statutes of General Application/laws made by the colonial government).

4) Judicial Precedent (court judgements).

5) Customary law (including sharia law).

6) Delegated legislation (Administrative agencies' regulations and rulings).

7) Historical, Literary or Formal sources (including latin maxims).
Okay, correction well made and accepted! My point remains that the law is outdated but worse, who will implement even that ridicule in Nigeria considering the persons involved!

I attended military schools and can't imagine what such travesty's would earn you if they were even fantasized! Even looking at that flag (Nigeria's) hurts my balls!
