All this na story - take them to court IF it is a lie Forgery is a crime Slander and libel also are So why screaming "na lie" on newspaper pages? |
Some people fabricate such lies against the presidency and president and all we get is insultive denials? One would expect litigation, court cases filed against the Newspaper so they are forced to disclose their source who has committed libel, slander and even forged presidential communications. But in the farce that Nigeria has become, the PRESIDENCY cannot do such (I wonder why) and are left with no recourse but to request that fat disaster to wring hands and insult! Very recently, Abati was running pillar to post apologizing for lying against someone! If indeed this is a lie, why froth at the mouth instead of going to court? |
mikeansy: I thought Buhari was a General? where is the courage? Sometimes we must stand up to this people and say our will is stronger than yours!!! . . . .if more people spoke out it will be harder to kill people just because they spoke out!Na only general? Ihejerika is a serving general. Still young & active. Tell him to go face them |
mikeansy: No insurgence anywhere around the world has been defeated without the local or host community rejecting the insurgents.I think you are being unfair here! General Shuwa spoke out and he was killed for that! The man who received Obasanjo when he visited the late Yusuf's family died the next day! Northerners (and many others including some well known political leaders from the east) believe this scourge is a deliberate attempt to decimate the north and so, why should Buhari condemn? If he doesand Boko Haram kills him as they have killed others, who loses? If they do not but what northerners see as "political" boko haram kills him, who loses? Funniest is this - IF boko haram "stops" after his condemnatory statement, what would YOU (for example) say? Is it not that he has called his "boys" to order? Someone is being paid for promising to tackle security - that's the person to go to - you say Buhari hasn't put himself enough on the line! What of the President who KNEW his insistence on putting himself over agreements and the country would cause issues? Why didn't he toe this same path you wish Buhari to take and sacrifice his own ambition for the love of Nigeria? Finally, Sambo is also a northern elder! So are Bamanga Tukur and the other flatulent windbags sharing money in PDP - where is the statement they made condemning Boko Haram? Atiku is a northern elder who threatened openly - why aren't you all screaming for his statement? Its unfair to continually lie against this man and you are all only just building more sympathy for him with the vituperation |
Nathaniel734: i believe goverance will be difficult when there is no peace in the land...i think the Presidency is just holding Buhari by his statement during the 2011 election campaign, cos we all no dat was the origin of this problem, the boko haram prob.According to you as detailed in your post, Buhari's statement in 2011 WAS the origin of Boko Haram that started in 2009 (many accounts put it as much earlier)? Its good to allow opinions but bro, yours gives the impression of something that came from someone high on toilet fumes! Boko Haram has been in existence for years and became truly violent (in the public eye) when they clashed with the security forces in 2009 when their leader was killed in strange circumstances! I could go on and on but its worthwhile you applied yourself to google etc - mental laziness is NOT a good thing |
If truly govt says Buhari is the solution to boko haram, then this is tacit acceptance that he's d man to take Nigeria out of the woods! GEJ promised to do so but now wants Buhari to do his work? And we are all witnesses that it was his party members that threatened his ascension! All these excuses and blame-mongering rather than governance is saddening |
Wow! Naija |
Tigerhead: ACN, CPC AND ANPP, YORUBA AND MUSLIMS all are part of the AXIS OF EVIL. Let us call them b their real name.Muslims = approx half of Nigeria! Let's say half of Yorubas are Christians CAN, CPC and the rest effectively make up (with the Muslim and Yoruba) at least 65% of Nigeria's voting public! You say these are the "axis of evil" - wow, no wonder we have this President! LESSON: you are NOT very bright to insist that the majority of Nigerians are "evil" as that compels the idea that your principal was a wrong choice having been chosen by them! |
byrron:No, but it infers the answer to the discerning (those with brains) - NO one man is greater than Nigeria and we currently have someone who put himself first. Histories Greatest Leaders (Jesus Christ, Mandela, Mohandas K. Gandhi etc) put their people before themselves and are revered today because of that. They looked at the "tomorrow", not the present If you still require more spoon-feeding, sorry but you wont get it from me |
^^ Thank you. Whist vindictive and self-serving, OBJ was definitely better than this travesty of governance |
Laughable! There was an election they'd have us believe was fair! So, the opposition says "please let's use the Biometric data captured to assess the TRUE fairness of that election" Answer: NO, IT WILL AFFECT NATIONAL SECURITY! So, let's ask - 1. "why was 87 Billion spent on same biometrics?" 2. How does showing samples of ordinary individuals data and comparing voters cards, affect National security, if indeed the elections were fair? 3. Where did the 7,000 dollars each delegate collected at Eagle square come from? What of their lodgings, feeding and even sequestering so Atiku couldn't give them his own inducement? 4. What of the fuel subsidy Trillions - who has truly been punished for that if indeed those funds didn't in great part go towards election 2011? 5. What happened to Ribadu's report and indeed, all other reports? Yes, IBB was a Thief! So was Abacha! But they took power by the gun as opposed to this administration that "supposedly" is "democratic" - they were our masters because they held weapons! This government is supposed to SERVE us, so how dare you compare the two types? Its instantly obvious to everyone that this government is worse NOT ONLY in losing more National funds but also in morality - and the motto seems to be "its OUR turn so we'll steal as much as we wish whist dedicating a small portion to propaganda" - at least IBB NEVER paid anyone to do nothing but come online and lie to Nigerians on a daily basis! Yet on NL alone, we can easily find at least, a half dozen at any time since this government came into power! I will NEVER directly insult the President because he's older than I am! Yet he insults me daily! |
Gbawe: Yes I am. If you wasted less time on nauseating sycophancy and the worship of mediocrity then perhaps you may have time for literature that would improve your wit and make you a naturally more engaging and charismatic person.Sorry but this is very unfair of you! The guy has been an abject failure in all things in all his life and for the first time has found another doofus who is ready to pay for his low IQ! How dare you now complain that he is a bad net in the hands of a bad fisherman? What else would you have him be? A good tool? |
I know you people don't want to hear the truth but I will say it GEJ came in as VP and NEVER aspired for presidency! He was too much of a gentleman, nice etc! However, yaradua's death put him where he never planned! Personal interest has cost HIS people, those he swore to protect, thousands of like! Its also made us so tribalist we may be living in 1880! That is not leadership! How I wish he'd been an impartial judge in the elections and remain reserved |
Onlytruth: "O mighty Caesar! Dost thou lie so low?Basically then, your POV is that this government is a disgrace and humiliation to Nigeria - why then is it that all the noisy support it finds comes from your part of the country? |
The spin doctors are on their way to inform you that the "north" using boko haram, has shifted focus from development to security and that Nigeria's income has been harnessed towards preservation of life and property at the cost of the electrical roadmap! If that doesn't work, expect to hear soon that its northerners negative prayers sabotaging electricity in Nigeria! LESSON: you cannot win a propaganda machine belonging to govt! |
Wow! I shudder to imagine what would have happened on this thread if a northerner had said such. Since its an easterner, no wahala, abi? |
The man is just jacking on the strings of people he knows are easy to rile up - I now start to believe he has NO desire for political appointment as he has said often! This obviously is a man who says things because it makes him laugh - if he wanted political power, he'd be much more careful! Having said the above, I still think he goes too far and should be more circumspect |
Its your punishment for denying that power has become 29 hours per day as the President stated on CNN! Since you bloody Nigerians decided to embarrass your "chairman" by saying he lied, he has decided to punish you! Let everyone start screaming we have 29 hours supply DAILY and he will tell NEPA to stop your chastising |
Way the President is going, he may find himself the first leader on earth that the western world will openly condemn! As it is, diplomacy and good manners is all that's restraining them! Eventually, they will deliberately start "leaking" evidence of any (and wife and cabinet members) personal corruption, in an attempt to pressurize Nigeria to wake up! |
Abu34: He can never loose...same way abacha couldnt! Its not in our hands |
Which would mean the night of the long knives is at hand for Jonathan! Its tantamount to giving d presidency to IBB |
What if he loses? |
Itoroetti :Are you saying Alams was innocent? And that he was wrongly prosecuted? |
Your people keep dying under this man! 1. Why haven't the terrorists "CAUGHT" been brought to trial? 2. How come we don't even know what they confessed to, which would infer govt realises these deaths are painful and thus understand Nigerians need to be carried along! 3. Yes, Ihejerika is COAS - how has that helped stop the killings of your people? To me, this is simple - Obasanjo or the Buhari you hate would act decisively but not your brother Ebele - WHY? At least we saw what Obasanjo did to Odi and how Buhari wiped out Maitasine! They didn't weep and wring their hands and release statements over & over condemning with mouths - they acted! Yet neither had sect members in custody. I expect you to ask the government why it hasn't picked up all the Northern elders you insist are Boko sponsors! But seems we prefer to support GEJ while we keep dying simply because we hate Northerners! Yet you forget that the attack of the emir of Kano and all the assassinated Islamic clerics suggest this is NOT about Igbos - its war against Nigeria and Nigerias representative is basking in it as it keeps you supporting him! If Igbos turn against Jonathan because of Boko Haram and he "KNOWS" it, he will do something about it! That's why a strong opposition always helps a country! But guess who doesn't want an opposition? Yet as it is, the more you die, the more you support him! So why should he bother, since the Nigerian model and current reality suggests that your deaths (not your being alive and insisting on him providing what he promised) give him support! GEJ for ever o - AND by 2019, the Igbo race would have been wiped out! |
All the abuse flying about this thread is shocking and beside the point! What matters is this - At the end of the day, let Alams contest for and win a Senatorial seat! In fact, let them arrange for Alams to become Senate President! He will still remain with the image he cut out for himself always and whenever our then "senator" or whatever wants to visit any place outside these shores, he will require lip-stick, a wrapper and head-gear - that is the real tragedy of the issue - that the Presidency is ready to rubbish all institutions even to the National Assembly to pay off personal debts! So, basically, it is a moral issue and one which portends ill for this country! Just imagine a Federal Republic of Nigeria "Senator" or National Honors Awardee in handcuffs on CNN and you'll understand this is a sad development. Sadly the current senators are too busy looking for ways to pad their pockets and its when international police start cavoity searches on them in the future that they will realise how such issues malign institutions! At that time, those screaming sovereignty now, will start the normal chorus - playing the "victim" card! |
CohenJane: Hoooooo God! why do some people like peddling lies like this? God purnish you with this kind lie whey you dey give us o!Actually, he is right and it can be done easily! Its what email spamming and bulk sending software does (allow you to send mails seemingly from any address) However, in this case, its obvious it was a PDP mistake! First, the lawyer who registered the controversial APC said pdp sent him and now mail comes from their address - so its not a mistake\coincidence but a deliberate scam from the stables of a boastful yet scared PDP, which shows a lack of morality and a desire to cheat, lie, circumvent truth and rig if needed! |
OP: "Points" is simple - the President should do what he promised us and stop dividing Nigerians because of personal ambition! Even if he wins and stays till 2019, a day will come when he will leave the office! My and your (and his) children will still be alive and will live in whatever state he leaves Nigeria in! If he does what he's supposed to do, nobody will wish he loses his seat! All the attack dogs and laptops (if paid) are there only because something is NOT being done as it ought be done! Everyone including the Hausa\Fulani you all hate now, voted for and put him there and what they are reaping today is betrayal and hatred (boko haram started before him)! Without the north, he definitely would not be in Aso Rock today and so, when you insult them and the Yoruba too, you are only telling everyone that they made a mistake! If and when they decide they don't want him again, don't complain - you are reaping what you sowed! He should do what's right (we all know what's sensible and what is not) and then, his actions will fight for him (as they are negatively doing right now) and allow him another slot! Aside that, all you penned above is but noise |
chukwudi44: 99% of fulani xtians will never vote for a buhari presidency let alone a muslim-muslim ticketSorry Bros, I am not joining your argument! Just wanted to ask - WHO ever saw a "FULANI" Christian? And if you did indeed come across the occasional straggler, would you say up to 1% of the Fulani in this country fall into that category? |
Interesting that during GEJ's 2011 campaign, Seun and moderators were seen to be fighting "for" Goodluck Jonathan, but now that he's achieved what he wanted then, the same Seun is seen as his enemy simply because he says what's happening! One serious question - what does Mr sincerity believe should be on the front page of a site almost seen as representative of Nigeria? Is it stories about the price of fish in Ghana? Or a story about an issue that's the biggest in Nigerian news today? If you are ashamed of people hearing bad things about your principal, tell him to stop doing bad things - simple! |
Where are all the boko haram members caught till date? Are you telling us none or not enough have confessed to who their sponsors are? Who is the slowpoke here that believes police, army, sss etc can't extract cogent useful information from those arrested the last 2 years? This is why many wonder when the president says "they" are in his government, if truth isn't that they know but bringing the information into the public domain will uterly vilify the government itself! Its simple - why isnt Kabiru Sokoto inside a courtroom? What will he say that will astound the senses and thus has compelled he be kept from justice? More questions than answers and the stench comes from the refusal to answer |
"Find Out" has said everything! Sensible chap |
