@sincere9gerian: Hardknock has effectively answered you! Recycling the same theme to give examples of "work" can't cut it no more especially as you are the ones complaining Amosun should NOT fix fed govt roads! Sure-P too, ought NOT be held as responsible for what Capital expenditure has been budgeted for! Of course I know you'll use your 100 years becoming 5 years because of Sure-p as self justification but you know those are hollow excuses! Reality is it NOT showing and all your posts above just portend immense (yet now poorly justified) losses meant to give one impression while doing whatever else the funds are being truly used for! |
Ngwakwe: The Federal Government under the "Fisherman" is doing greater than expected far beyond the regimes before him.Let's be sincere - IF anybody conducts a "debate" as you stated above and the results do NOT please you, you will say they are "opposition" supporters! So why should they? Its obvious your minds were made up long ago so you see anything is supportive of your claim that Nigeria is doing well! What is NOT supportive of that, you say is due to "Opposition"! Maybe its because I can no longer be called a youth, but I have honestly not seen any impact of the SURE-P which from all the above seems more involved in dashing out money on a 3000 per state basis rather than creating wealth! Where are the farms? The industries? Economy boosters Etc But then, I guess I too will now be called "opposition" for stating what's patently obvious to any dispassionate observer! |
I think what OP is saying is that the SW should return to cocoa farming, NOT that it will displace Oil |
Just wondering ......seems many of GEJs greatest (most vocal) supporters want Nigeria to break up! Is there something y'all know or are planning for that makes it so? |
So WHAT informed the unconditional release of these people who they say "forged" a presidential directive? Why are we lying to ourselves? 1. FORGERY (supposedly) 2. MISREPRESENTATION (supposedly) 3. Incalcitrance (till TODAY, they insist they published a true directive) 4. People would argue this is treason Yet, you released them unconditionally YET expect us to believe they "forged" it or printed a forged directive! Please take the "forgers" to frigging court |
Story!!! Ask him who he voted for in the last election and who he intends to vote for in 2015 and you will hear "fresh air" and the reason will be because of religion, hatred for a section of the country and "na my brother"! Hunger will cure most of you eventually! |
chiover: This is absurd. He should be arrested and charged without delay. I just pray that police are aware of his presence in the countryRead the article, Bros - it says he visited the President in Aso Rock and he was honored even above the Senate Leader. If there are no police in the rest of Nigeria, we are sure Aso Rock has some - why didn't they arrest him if he's not been protected by "orders from above"? |
Its puzzling..... The Yoruba tribal lords believe they are better than the Igbo! So how do they prove it? By proving themselves more idiotic, childish, churlish, abusive and adolescent. Same with the Igbo lords! My understanding is that I will NOT dignify someone who I wish to see as beneath me, with an alternative brand of idiocy! I totally support Ikenna in this and hope people would re-consider his words - the tribal wars and jealousies that have consumed millions of lives in Africa and which our "leaders" have always provided tinder for, are the reason why we haven't progressed! Awolowo and Azikwe were civil to each other, and so were Soyinka and Achebe! |
whatever he wants, at least he makes sense ![]() Many that don't want a place, want Nigeria to disintegrate and IF that happens, they forget their people are the ones who are thinly spread around |
^^^ Nice seeing you can still massage yourself - but what say you to Maina'a re-appearance, especially as he is boasting he never went anywhere and reports say he was being protected because of orders from the top |
Transformational fresh air ![]() For another common thief to boast he never went anywhere when word was put out he'd run off (and him being tacitly protected all the while) only shows we are just starting with this insults against Nigeria from her "servant" masters |
Wait - Thot they said these guys FORGED something against the Presidency ![]() Yet they have been unconditionally released? Are we to infer then that they reported the truth? |
@freechat: You are obviously a dimwit! Function comes but from usage! A gardem shear is called shear because it shears things! I honor all public servants and never called the police thugs! What I did was use language to state that if used as assassins, they are assassins! Same if a soldier is caught in an act of robbery - he'd be called a "robber", no? But you knew that, didn't you? So you deliberately misrepresented to give the idea that I have problems with Nigeria and you are the patriot! Yet your "kind" are natural cut-throats, criminals, theives and hopeless users who will turn against this President if he annoys you 2moro! I, on the other hand wish him and my nation well ALWAYS and will criticise, not to damage, but to help put him on right path, if he will listen! For that reason, you cannot find one insult against the President in my over 2000 posts! Yet you twist clear words to give impression of hatred! Why should I hate a man I never met and who has offered me no personal injury? Just remember - this is a democracy and NOT a Monarchy! President Jonathan serves Nigeria and not us serving him! God witness I wish him well and that includes him being a decent person, not our lord and master! |
@freechat: Should it be the police station that should determine if indeed it is "character assassination" or a Court? That is the issue! Its like me saying you looked at me in a way I don't like or stated something I don't like - should I get thugs (uniformed or area boys) to deal with you or charge you to court?? |
eGuerrilla: @nuclearboy,But this is so depressing on too many levels! The average "accused" in Nigeria (politicians, thieves etc) endlessly look for ways to avoid going to court! We saw how far Ibori etc went! Yet here we have the accused begging to go to court BUT the FEDERAL GOVERMENT is hedging and dodging - what they want is to get the "evidence" out of the hands of the accused instead of throwing 200 charges against him which include treason, forgery, malicious intent Na wa O! Yet the internet is open to all and Americans, the British, Kenyans etc can read and see all the crap that has been posted here to justify this travesty of reasoning? Yet we get to other countries and wonder why we are seen as dregs of existence? |
Ngwakwe: The Security agencies are indirectly part of the Judiciary. GEJ complained of impersonation and the security agencies and the Judiciary have just started to clean up this mess in the media to make them more professionalRubbish - so when Abacha used Sgt Rogers to "take out" citizens of Nigeria because they "messed him up by exposing his rubbish", he was right? Why can't you people tell truth for once? I personally believe that document is false as I honestly find it beneath the worst of humanity to write out such nonsense, but I expect that in a democracy, we should do the right thing! No "indirectly" works here except you agree police can also decide to execute someone on the roadside since they are "indirectly" part of the Justice system! Let's use our heads please! |
teskyg: The Police should be allow to do their work.Even an iletrate will know that document was false. When you eat with the Devil, you use a long spoon.Media houses should live above board rather than depending on blind Handouts from oppostion Parties.Bro, please let us be truly sincere 1. Its NOT police work to ask for proof! Take the case to court since the "offended party believes its slander"! 2. If truly that document was forged, it will be calamitous in court, not inside a police station because whether they are there for 200 YEARS, police CANNOT prove its forgery - ONLY COURTS can do that! 3. That document can from INSIDE Aso Rock - to the best of our knowledge, no opposition party lives in Aso Rock, which is exactly why government should take them to court, ensure they get the stiffest harshest penalties for forgery, slander, misrepresentation against the fed govt of Nigeria, attempting to raise opinion against government (can be interpreted as Treason) INSTEAD OF saying they should submit the original document to police! Court will get that and investigate if true! |
With the deliberate misinterpreting above, its obvious you people know the truth but wish to cover it with noise! How any human can turn "Take Dat"'s words to mean illegal detention, police brutality (refusing to allow a woman use the bathroom till she begged) and intimidation (thought you can't be detained illegally under the law and not for more than 24 hours anyway) plus harrassment (why do you want the hardcopy rather than get them to present it and whatever other they have to a competent court), beats me!!! Abacha has re-incarnated |
awodman: Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.its on record on this forum that you posted that GEJ shud tk action against these guys.Even when some posters brought your attention to how crude that action might be ,you stuck to your guns. Now here you are crying wolf when the same action has been takenIf someone here calls you a liar, is "rational" redress sending assassins after him? Or taking hom to court so he can "prove" before competent law how, where and when you lied AND either be justified for that OR punished for slander? Does it make sense for private citizens to insist that they stand by a "Presidential directive" and the Presidency employ strong-arm tactics NOT to sue them for a trillion and have courts close down the newspaper, BUT to use police thuggery and possible threats of violence against them? Abeg go fake papers claiming ownership of my house and you will see if my recourse would be to buy boxing gloves (as this government is doing) OR take you to court to ensure I get my property back PLUS throw your bottom in Jail for forgery! If it is forgery, take them to court, not torture them Abacha style! As the days pass, it seems rather obvious its not a forgery - the paper is asking for court! Government is attempting torture! Plain obvious what's happening and who is telling the truth! |
I hate road travel (due to past experiences) and was really impressed by Rossikks photos till I saw Lagos-Ibadan express! Sure that propaganda photograph looks good but we all know the reality is definitely not as that photograph attempts to portray I sincerely "hope" (since I currently don't know those other roads) that they do not reflect the same - that photograph is a mockery of intelligence and total mis-representation of reality! |
very creative and very funny |
Where are those who insist that ND Militants are only fighting for their rights? They should please tell us now how many normal humans kill others because they didn't get their salaries (talkless government handouts)! A terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist |
Question is "will it be a fair election?" and how does the opposition address attempts to rig or misrepresent results? This more so in the face of INEC having the guts to say "allowing access to Biometric data will undermine National security" and the subsequent ouster of a Judge (to influence the position of the courts)! This is why I believe APC should allow in ALL betrayers of PDP so the field becomes more level - as it is said "send the son of fire against fire" to counter it! |
So what? Are Igbos not Nigerians? |
Obviously another thread meant to further embarrass the President and cause more disaffection against the north! While my post history shows I detest a president that has fast disappointed Nigeria, I don't think it fair to heat up the public against him in such distasteful terms! |

Jega is part of the rot! 86 Billion for data capture for Biometrics spent and then, we are told that providing a sample of these to courts is inimical to "national security"! What rubbish! If we wish free and fair elections, appoint such as Wole Soyinka, Ribadu, or Pat Utomi as INEC Chairman AFTER modifying the INEC act so it truly becomes independent and does not have to go cap in hand to the executive for its needs - nothing stops INEC from getting its financial requirements met on first line (outside the budget but fixed and approaching the NASS for any extras) basis! As long as this is not done, the executive will continue to tinker with INEC |
In addition to the above, he can weight the scales on his side by simply starting to on media state he has been merciful, kind and that he sees them as errant "children" - this will annoy them and ensure they refuse! Then the gloves can come off and if they truly do come off, it is their own people that will offer them up for free when blame can no longer be apportioned to the government! That's how to plan and think, not send fatso okupe out to insult our sensibilities over idiotic concepts |
This is a brilliant move if well executed and it may convince that GEJ does actually have a good head some of the time! 1. Religious fanatics will NOT accept! Or can you imagine Shekau saying "give me money and I'll forget jihad"? 2. The President has shut the mouth of all those saying he should offer amnesty and that it is because of that, that the north is being decimated! MEND were offered and got it - these will be offered but WON'T get it yet they NOW become not only enemy to govt but also the people since they are the ones choosing violence! 3. All military gloves can come off now because anyone refusing offered amnesty is definitely an animal and deserves all the violence the government can throw at them! And any tears by the people is now definitely boko haram's fault, not govt that offered and not JTF fighting against murderers who refuse amnesty! The only problem will come from the last as now, nobody will be able to say the JTF is being heavy-handed thus they actually can NOW become heavy-handed yet come away looking right! I pray this doesn't mean more innocent people will die! A tactical mind has offered this way out and its laudable people who care about Nigerians lives support such steps (read that as traps) |
^^ why don't you use your brains at least this time- this is a brilliant move if well executed 1. Religious fanatics will NOT accept! Nobody hates the president except maybe those he fought with inside the PDP! Sadly however, he prefers to feel a victim! |
