^^ Ok, if it wasn't Mo that called you "ignorant" , "ill-learned" and refusing to learn (which are the attributes of donkeys), then it is WHOEVER said so about the arabs and muslims in the koran that is the F.O.O.L and half slowpoke. No wonder THAT dude promised fire will burn you to the ground leaving only the "koko" on your head. And trust a proper dog to compare the actions of 4, 000 years ago to what his type seek to justify today. Where you miss reality is that no-one can do anything about what happened then but we can change today. Our past and our acknowledgement of it has brought us to where nobody can claim to follow Biblical principles and do evil TODAY. We have repented and moved forward! You on the other hand, are retrogressing and seek to justify your barbarity by saying "others did it and so we are justified". Go sit on that - SIDEWAYS! One more thing -> go register in an adult class and learn proper english. You really need to stop thinking yoruba while writing english. |
@Seyibrown: Why bother to reply someone whose own prophet called a donkey? Obviously Mo knew the dude's reasoning would be warped and approximately equal to the intellect of a jackass. War = suicide bombing? Conquest and protection from future retribution = murder because you've failed on earth and want 72 virgins? Practices by wild ancient people seeking an identity = the desires of lazy violent illiterates in the 21st century? No be the dude fault. Intelligent people are brain-storming and thus, the door was left open for smelly farts to waft in. @DeepSight: In light of your postulations, could you discuss the empires of the past? - Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome and practices of warfare as opposed to today in those times? |
@DeepSight: Is it my understanding of english that is faulty or are people evading the issue here? Forget morality for one moment. Go back to the basics. If I take a few thousand Naira out of my pocket and set on fire, who has right to complain? If on the other hand, YOU take MY money and burn it, have we not done the same thing? Yet would I not be justified in claiming damages? Which is my point - prove to us that Yahweh is NOT God and then you can claim all you wish about his lack of right. Until you do that, you have no basis to critique Him. The suicide bomber who says his god has told him to commit murder is not an issue here except for someone looking to hide behind a finger. Forget him/such and face YAHWEH solely. When you've settled YAHWEH one on one, we can deal with your gymnastics. |
To you too, Pastor_AIO, a great day. Whist I disagree with you, you remain quite the encyclopedia (even if an abstract one) and so my response comes in the belief you'll reason this through - You accept my right (and thus wouldn't give yourself right to critique me openly without my express permission) yet deny that same right to God and thus believe you have right to critique God. I go further to state this would only make sense if you can prove He is not God and thus does not have right to the stated actions. If He has right, you have no case. Thus, your only reasonable task is to prove He is not God at which point He has not right. All else is vacuous. In addition and with respect to your stated words above, I wonder at your sincerity - has Yahweh asked you to critique Him? For you say IF I WERE TO ask your input, you'd tell where I went wrong! Could you then show where Yahweh has asked (or paid you your price for) your contribution and advise? |
you chose the username Pastor-AIO. Your right & your decision even though many wonder at the tag due to your affiliations. Another chap decided to call himself Baboonyansh. Odd choices to many forum members but within your rights. Yet you believe you have right to question not my own choice of tag but that of a supposed creator? What's your justification or basis? Where's your right? I know many are obtuse here (some are cardboard) but you're not one of those. Be sincere for once. Do we decide for others? Would you dare visit me and tell me INSIDE my domain that my biz/personal choices are stupid without risking my staff beating the AIO out of you? Or is it because we all know a true God supersedes such displays of anger and power that both normally reasoning and slowpoke individuals ascribe to self this right to criticism? Unfortunate, crass, childish and ill-informed |
I think the issue here remains that of right. Some here are respected individuals and to them comes this question - if the God we are discussing here owns all things, would you then agree He has right to do what He wishes concerning/about them whenever He decides? If your answer is yes, why the argument? If No, why do you have right to make decisions on a daily basis and yet do not believe yourselves demented? Either way above, you have a problem. The only way your argument can hold water is convincing us He is NOT God and thus has no right. I await your arguments that will PROVE this assertion. PS: Emotions do not prove anything. Show us facts |
Is it really expedient you guys market Ooyakilome to this extent? Where is the Risen Christ in all the drivel and tripe above. Who exactly do you thinks gives a hoot if any man is understood or not? Is Christianity about ur pastor? Suppose he falls and dies right now, do you think that will change the price of fish in the market? This is pitiful, ill-advised and truly embarrassing. |
Rhino: Bro, your meaning above is not really clear. Try simplify it or ask direct questions |
Why do I get the feeling Jo is tired of this interview and seeking to be let off? Its always difficult to find yourself answering intelligent questions instead of just postulating to a phsyched audience of "worshippers". Must be difficult to leave the life of a big man even if it is for truth. What say you, Jo? you don tire abi? |
Smelly feathers. SMELLY FEATHERS! Wonderment How under God's Heaven did we have fun on NL when you went AWOL? I just wish you'd allow us harness your e-truculence & anger at your former boyfriend/lover Oyedepo (yep, I typed the name so please catch e-fire now) and put you in a cage. We'd quickly make a fortune displaying to earth the only thing that pound for pound, is denser than Lead. You can ask Krayo - he'll invest in that production |
Very crass and immature. Eminem compared to Kool & the Gang And you used to be so interesting, Tudor! Stick to e-fighting please. Easier to seem "hype"/"applicable" that way. Selling your songs is another matter. My fish would do better Krayo will dodge you on this. |
Best I don't answer such, Tudor. The kind of things I've done in 41, you go faint. We'll meet one day and maybe I'll take off my shirt. |
^^ with all the marketing on NL You don't say! |
@Tudor: Now you write this, its stand to reason why that picture you had on your profile was there. I think I understand your problem. Pele ![]() Sincerely though, I think at least 95% of us MEN on earth would prefer to keep gold and silver rather than virgins. Not all of us have problems convincing women to hang out with us. So whist you may see virgins as the ultimate price of warfare, I doubt if Krayo, Rhino or anyone here shares your desire to lose your virginity and thus, has that as the ultimate price. Moses obviously did not. And he had 2 wives. Which is two more than you slept with, obviously. Again, my sympathy. Men need to calm raging hormones. ![]() @Chairman Rhino: Truth is painful. That is the reality. But wetin man go do now? Who go belleful go belleful. |
What are you doing at home, young Rhino? I thot you'd be in church under unction of the reverend. Thot twas only the free like me fit stay home. Anyway, Nuclear is not making excuses. I NEVER make such. I follow my understanding and KNOW, that for somebody to win, somebody HAS to lose and the loser must feel pain. IF I am elected OR chosen, no be me give myself ori-ire. And if you no dey chosen, no be Nuke-boy carry 'scoba' dash you. Siddon there dey look like Microsoft solitaire all you want, wetin make I do about ur problem? No be me hang wahala for ur body. |
mrmayor:I remember saying this was my view and even before you responded last night, I already got mail from a friend, a respected Christian on this forum on that very matter. I just knew I would be flogged for opening myself for the sucker punches like that. ![]() Genocide has never been a good thing BUT the context in which I gave that time (Christ's advent) was based on limitations of my knowledge. I'm sure you will understand that most history after Jesus can be verified. I didn't mean what came before or after was okay but that events after are recent enough to discuss with a fairly high measure of understanding. Twill take too long were I to explain all I believe but a sharp summary in the belief I speak to one who knows the history and can follow my reasoning follows. Egypt: Non-Bible believers insist there exist no accounts outside of the Bible of hebrew slavery. History speaks of "Habiru" who were supposedly initial conquerors of Egypt and were hated and later were chased out. The Bible account in a manner supports this as Joseph and family started off at the top of Egyptian society. Its a matter of which side's version you wish to believe and how far you take it. Lets suppose the tables were turned against them then and the masters became the slaves as both accounts seem to agree upon. This would justify to the new masters whatever treatment they meted out. BUT those people (the new slaves) had a covenant with God through their progenitor. If they had anywise oppressed the egyptians (in effect, sinned against them), the Karmaic law indeed requires they suffer and as such were slaves for 430 years. But then the covenant had to stand or the covenant maker would be considered a "liar". So they came out. Call it reprehensible or whatever but it fulfils natures cause and effect law. Herod's infanticide was prophesied. I do not have answers for why it was prophesied but once that came from God, it had to happen. I regret to have to state this again but assuming (for the sake of those whose belief systems run counter to mine) that the Biblical God IS "God", this is another matter of "Owner" rights. My posts history here will show I do not seek excuses for God or try to smooth Him over. I have asked harder questions than ANY of these myself and my life and times have been such that there have been times when even Atheists here would have wondered at me and shaken their heads at my "unbelief". But I have possessions too and at times do strange things with them. How God is God cannot be shown like I can show 1 - 1 = 0. Faith is not tangible and thus how would you have me show why I believe Jehovah? But believe me, I remain convinced and have my conclusions. I wish those who are still searching whether they acknowledge/realise it or not, luck. But Israel was "CHOSEN" and I am certain you know the NT discusses another "Chosen" generation. Based on that, it is a given He owns ALL. On Women, you are forcing me to state that which is personally painful to me. "Know ye not that your body is the Temple of God". It goes on to say anyone destroying that sins. Painful for me cos Ah, I only wish you guys knew just how difficult that was/is for me to accept and live TILL today. Freewill is understood differently by us all. Yep, chosen BUT have responsibility in the process. It makes no sense that multiple Gods created existence. The presence of counterfeits only confirms there exists an original. The fact alone that Islam insists on using Judaism/Christianity as its crutch - "Adam was the first muslim", "Jesus was a revered prophet who will return", the fact that ALL the PROPHETS except Muhammed come from the Jews, "Muhammed is the comforter by fire by force", etc etc etc shows a lot. In effect, all three Monotheist religions point back to the same God. Funny it is that christians insist its not the same God whist muslims INSIST it MUST BE THE same (at least until very recently and mainly on NL). The personal lives of the dudes involved in the three religions shows even more. Moses was never a king, never wealthy, never a liked or even respected leader. He was feared and became something more than man. Where was his profit? He left the Palace to become a desert warrior. He led an unruly indisciplined band of people who never gave him peace. If you are in it for power, do you destroy the wealth of nations you conquer? You burn their gold, silver, etc? Do you refuse to make yourself comfortable? He had only the one focus - get to a promised land. But he never walked on that land, never knew why it was promised, never enjoyed the process of trying to get there. He didn't get there for reasons which have always seemed very ", ][]7^$#@" (lost for words) to me. Yet I wonder as I type today if us typing/reading today weren't the "true" (weightier) reason he wasn't allowed. At least nobody can say it was an agenda he dreamed up for profit. If you look at the "Meat/Core of the Gospel" thread, you'll find the same thing running through it. Motive shows intent. Why did he do it? Would you? Yet he NEVER wavered even once or doubted his eventual destination. Interesting character- to have all that potential and not get anything out of it? The other guy prospered, took what he wanted and gave the rest out. When it was profitable to be quiet, he became humble. When the tide turned, he turned. He wanted his son's wife, the required revelation came. He needed more than 4 wives, the required revelation came. Mercenary, cunning and grabbing whatever he could from other belief systems. Even himself wondered at the devil in him. He said A today, and then B the next day. He became a "Lord". Why did he do it? Wouldn't that just be the person to emulate? I "personally" do not demonize him but I have made my own conclusions. Dude played his role and will get his reward. Compare the two. True it is that truth is relative but, there is a big picture. Nobody does what Moses did. Everyone would like to be a Lord. |
@Krayo: Thanks - will check that inbox. Will respond to MrMayor presently. But you - you do have a right to be heard, you know and also to insist on doing dat $hit in dat face. What you're gonna do, please do quickly Bro. Sure you know many of the ways to cross the barrier. Say hi on my behalf ![]() |
In bed half asleep & replying from fone. 2moro please. Enjoy ur eveng/night |
^^ I hope you end up in the one where the 3 blind mice reside & come screaming running out having left at least a tiny portion of your bits in one tiny mouth |
^^ MrMayor: My views and they [1] (a) One "God" owns all, be it Nigerian, Brit or French. [1] (b) There is the concept of free-will which would infer that yes, you could decide to opt out BUT that is rebellion in the sense that whist still owned, what you are is saying "no, I don't agree" and in that strength, living what you believe are your choices [1] (c) There is only ONE God from the point of at least the Monotheist Religions and that God is the ONLY one who has right over all things. In effect, whist I could claim to be "God" and demand my worshippers/followers kill on my behalf, there exists only one God who has that right [2] Christianity has Judaism as its background and from that believes Jehovah owns all things. That is what I believe. Going into the "whys" is not the point here. [3] There is only ONE "Owner". Claims are a dime a dozen. The Original would be the one with such right. [4] Moses lived in a different world from that we live in. Consider the "Arena". Would you say it was justified that Gladiators fought to the death and men faced lions with their bare hands for the enjoyment of the mob? Situations and circumstances differ and without all the information at our disposal, many things seem wrong/insane/weird etc. Its like asking why Abdul-Mutallab could ever become what he did. It might be reprehensible in our estimation but none of us had the combination of his genes, upbringing and sat in his pants during the process that made him what he became. We only judge him wrong based on a census of opinions - if 90% of people on earth believed such was right, would his actions be considered wrong? In the case of the "ultimate owner", its even more complicated putting into mind issues like fore-knowledge, grand designs etc. Since the days after Jesus, I do not believe Genocide has been justified but again, cannot judge because I do not have all the facts. I do know its almost always justified in the estimation of those commiting it though. Communism killed 60 million in 50 years "FOR THE COMMON GOOD". I remember reading how when Hitler was a lance corporal, he watched a platoon of Jewish soldiers tear down and defecate on Germanys flag during the surrender of his company at the end of the first world war. These things affect us differently and sadly, I see it as an indictment on society when tortured souls pass by unnoticed and develop into monsters at which point, sanity is suspended. I believe the current Nigerian situation was obvious years ago. [5] A woman does not OWN her body. She is the custodian of it. Humans are not part of property. Which is why suicide is considered sinful. @Tudor: These tantrums are quite quaint and always make very amusing reading. ![]() |
^^ Hear Hear. A Daniel come to Judgment |
This Tudor no go change till ![]() Did you read my post at all? I said we do not believe (we know) allah is the "owner"and thus, we say he has no right over the fish! Which is JUST THE SAME as you saying God does not have that right (because you don't believe). Now, if you do it (say such) and you say we cannot, tell me, who is the hypocrite? I'm not the one spouting double standards here! |
@Tudor: Sincerely, You'll see (if you ever bothered to look) that I accused DS of repeating the same questions in different words. THAT was why I opted to refuse to answer the same thing AGAIN. BTW, most any serious member of this section will tell you this is a claim I have made against him at least a half dozen times here and that there were times when even he seemingly didn't realise all bore down back to the same question. I remember telling him once that he "seemed to be trying to bore/irritate/annoy his perceived opponent to death" by asking the same thing over and over. PS: whats with this "conscience", "gentle Jesus thingy", "idiotic smiling christian" idea all of you try to use coming from? If una no get wetin to talk, why not watch rather than try to make people feel guilty. Anyways, na wrong persin you dey try O. I no fear to cancel any nonsense in front of me. Jesu sef use koboko when him dey this side. Me go use dagger join. Love you too |
^^ Chei, see error! ![]() You are looking for truth while Oga Jo and co are looking for cash. Naim be say you go carry Bible go and dem go bring blow come! If you try dat kind meeting, dem go beat you pass dat reporter. When dem finish with you ehn, you go start to pay tithe by fire by force and na daddy you go dey call Oga Oyaks. Softly sofly O, bros. |
Lord Tudor: ![]() You think I was/am limited to repetition? Why not say what you felt I did not respond to exactly? |
T U D O Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! You still dey? ![]() Yes O, an owner retains right over his property. And remember when you think about Allah, that Christians do not believe Allah is the owner and thus say no to him having power over life. The above is mirrored by you - you do not believe God has power over life. Why should you have that right and me not? |
I was an "innocent"in those days |
@Kunle: Why play Jo's game to detract from the issue at hand. Jesoul is showing good progress putting a mirror before him and it is rapidly becoming obvious how truly slimy these people are.No direct answers or solutions but rather postulations and huge white spaces designed to avoid issues. Same with the "alias". "Tiatma" has shown the truth and what they'll keep doing is trying to derail. Expect more "aliases" - kenyan, drmigthtie, mabell etc but just ignore them all |
@Krayo: I suppose find like 15 hundred curses add join this email O, cos next thing now na "I am tall and pretty and love crosses no boundaries" emails go full my inbox. Anyway, nlbomb@gmail.com. I didn't really get your point about supposed Christians who argue against killing animals that belong to you. Are you saying that every claim makes sense? Men remain the only traders in the animal world, right? Did Christ and Peter eat everything Peter caught when Jesus said to let down his net? Would such "christians"say Christ and Peter were sinning? And if they found selves unable to eat/sell all of any hunting "catch" and such rots, would such "christians" say Christ commited a crime of waste? You want my defence against idiocy? Tell such a Christian that next time he sees a Cobra, he should pick it up and help it cross the highway since he's a custodian of all God's creatures. Expecting that sing-song sharpish. |
Krayo-baba: Suddenly it returns to mind I owe you a drop-kick from the past. Ah well, I am a forgiving person. In direct answer to your questions above, [1] As long as you own the animals, you have right to kill as many as you desire. Ranchers follow this implied "rule" all over the world. As long as they belong to you, there is no point where it can run counter to God's will. If you decide to bury them alive after spending your "last card" on them, na your loss. [2] Nope, nobody has the right TODAY to kill anyone based on perceptions of "obeying" God. We do NOT live in the same day and time Moses did. Consider - could you drive your car in Nero's day? You didn't exist then and neither did cars. We live under different standards and using the standards of Judaism 4000 years ago to judge Christians today is outright unfair. You may not have noticed but this is even a different covenant and such commands cannot be found "existent" today. [3] On leading others who He had ordered to not kill into warfare, I'll return again to my catfish analogy. If you visit, and I kill as many fish as required to satisfy you, where's my crime? If on the other hand, another human decides to kill a single one for his pleasure, he is a thief. Why? Ownership! That is the context in which I used the idea. Now, God is not subject to the same laws or judgments that we are. Leading them into battle is like me simply telling one of my staff to kill the "as many" fish as we wanted. He is NOT guilty of stealing murder or any crime. As Jesoul has said, without knowing the context, situation etc of the period, its somewhat difficult to judge what was right or wrong. [4] Tried OVER AND OVER to download "E gba mi O" but always got stuck at 76%. Why nah? |
![]() Yeah I know - limited intellect |
^^ Better go start studying for next years JME. You obviously need much more knowledge to get up to par if you could post that dung-shot again and actually highlight it. Peace, love and many kisses. |
