In a series of tweets, Atiku has simultaneously given Nigerians a slap on our faces and yet another reason to distrust him completely because of his never-ending string of lies. He has publicly insulted Nigerians with the flimsy reason he gave for not attending the Presidential debate. Is he running for President because he wants to move Nigeria forward or because he wants to "win" Buhari? Is this a high school inter-house sports competition or a pissing contest? Atiku has disrespected his party, his fellow contestants and the entire country by referring to a presidential debate as an "attack" on Buhari. Is his reason for participating in the Presidential debate proving himself to Nigerians as a suitable candidate or is his reason to "attack" and attempt to ridicule the President? From his response today, I think it's safe to say that Atiku is a man who will continually put his ego above the needs of the country he wants to govern.
