Just like many of you, I have been up and down and also frustrated with this glorious journey. Good looking men seems to be my distraction. This I have known for a while now, but hey, I still find myself in the same pit.
At this point, I am tired of the way my life is, that I am handling EVERYTHING to God to handle henceforth. God had always shown His power to me through many trials and victories only He could have made me survived, but as the scripture says "Ye shall face tribulations, but do not despair for I the Lord has conquered the world". I shall trust in Him completely, and believe in His will.
Father, here is your lost daughter, I need a hug.

Alot of christians suffer for lack of revelation knowledge, what you know makes you free. If you dont know God can, heal, prosper,keep you joyful and other blessings in salvation, you will suffer ignorantly. But if you know him as your everything, he will be everything to you too.

I first gave my life to the Lord in 2003 but had to rededicated my life a couple of times before I decided in 2006 to get to know HIM better. I attended WOFBI and there the Lord miraculously connected me to my husband that I had been praying for, was chosen for a job in a Bank among my friends that went for test,interview, promoted me when others were laid off etc, When I got married spiritual battles started as a result of the sins and covenant of the family I was born into with gods/goddess that was against marriages, but the Lord stood by us and held our hand in our trials and gave us victory. I had attacks every night until my father in the Lord Bishop Oyedepo opened my eyes to know that both my sin and the sin of my family that spoke against me has been totally erased by the blood of Jesus my Lord,I am the righteosness of God in Christ and there is no condemnation against me but I am justified, that I have been translated to the kingdom of God and is seated with Christ,that I am spiritually a child of God and there is no sin in my father(God) or my spiritual root anymore. This knowledge brought light and darkness vanished, the devil was capitalising on my ignorance.There is no life without God, The holy spirit has shown me His purpose for my life when I got closer to Him, praying in tongues daily and I am priviledged to be called of God to preach the gospel of grace. Before now I am hot today and cold tomorrow but I have learnt that to stay hot for God, I have to pray supernaturally every day, medidate on the word etc, and let the Holy Spirit be my guide daily in this earthly journey. Wow! this is wonderful. People suffer must times for lack of revelation knowledge, but when you know the truth, it will make you free. I cant stop thanking you for what you are doing in our lives lord. Thank you for christianity in Nigeria is a huge success, this thread has said it all. Father thank you for the men you are using to teach your children your word. May your spirit teach and direct them rightly in your path of truth in Jesus name, amen.

Hello dear, you are the greatest prophet of your life. There are things you engage in that keep you burning for the master always. PRAY FERVENTLY in the spirit always, if you have not recieved the holy ghost, you can ask your pastor to minister the holy ghost to you, cos christianity without the holy ghost is religion. Then study the word of God(read books and listen to messages), let your spirit be flooded with the knowledge of God, get involve in a department in church and participate fully, keep friends that are burning for God and finally impact your world with your personality,ie be a blessing in your world, let pple see Jesus in your eyes.

Is not prayer you need, its a consious effort you need to make. God bless you.

1. There is cold and one is unclothed, what would he/she need?. . .a cloth to cover, isnt it? Now where would he/she go for the clothes? A boutique/ cloth shop. . .isnt it?

2. When one is physically hungry, you will need food to eat to satisfy the physical hunger isnt it? where would you go for food? The food market. . .isnt it?

3. One needs literacy. . .you'll attend school to become educated,  . . isnt it?

4. You feel like having sex to satisfy your hormonal urge. . .where will you go to? to the opposite gender?. . .isnt it?

5. When one is spiritually hungry and needs spiritual fellowship. . .where should such a person go to?_______pls answer!

Why would i go to a spiritual place if i happen to have an urge for sex, what would i be doing in a school compound if i am unclothed and need a shirt, like what should i be doing in the church if my needs are money. . .for Christ sake dont we know where to get money? com'on

Man existence on earth is filled with several needs and simple wisdom entails we should attend to this needs at the places where the solutions to these needs reside.

So when the people following Jesus were hungry, why didnt he sent them to their kitchen where food will be cooked?when sick pple came to Jesus why didnt he sent them to clinic where they will see a doctor?when there was no wine in the wedding why didnt Jesus sent them to a shop to buy? When we become born again God becomes our shepherd and David said he shall not want. God supplies all our needs my dear. For the fact that we are working and can afford somethings without asking, do not mean we should fail to recognize God as our source.

God cares about our spirit, soul and body. Not just spiritual needs.

Father thank you for what you are doing in the lives of your children, i stand amazed in your presence. You are indeed a faithful God.

Am yet to see a church were all the members are perfect. I have met pple from the so called holy congregations and they still do alot of wrong things. These are pple that hear about holiness everyday. Now they are not doing wrong stuffs cos the leadership in faulty, its a personal problem.

What are you saying, the child that steal meat from the pot was taught by his mother not to steal. Thats the best she can do, teach him. People can call her a bad mother but she did her job by teaching him. When people fornicate for example is not because the pastor taught them to fornicate. That person is still struggling with his flesh. Is not the fault of the pastor.

I think the church is made up of imperfect people, walking towards perfection. That members in a church did something wrong do not mean the pastor do not preach against such. Even Paul had members that misbehaved, that do not mean Paul was preaching an inbalanced message.

If in a congregation of ten pple you find one person misbehaving, imagine if they were ten thousand. The bigger the congregation, the more pple to be perfected.

Paul prayed for the needs of the brethren to be supplied. A man is a spirit, has a soul and lives in a body. So is not just his spirit you concentrate on.

Truly mine has been on and off, today im very hot and the next im so cold i cant even pray, over the years God has exposed me to alot of hard teachings-discipleship classes, but i dont seem to be able to sit up, im so complacent and distracted and i dont know what else wuld make me sit up! it is a slippery path im treading- i know but i just cant seem to radically get up, and the truth is i am very tired of struggling. i just want it to flowwwww naturally, unhindered.

My dear, life is all about making decisions and standing by them. The righteous could fall but dont stay down, get up and move. Christianity is a race ,with this consciousness, no matter what you face, you will finish the race. The life your living is not your own, someone has bought you, therefore live for him. Dont struggle, cos by strength shall no man prevail,just take advantage of the grace , trust me his grace is sufficient.

Except a man be born again, not except a baby be born again. I'm not the Judge or Determinant, but i think babies can enter the kingdom without being born again regardless of who their parents are. But as they become accountable, they'll need to be born again, as they'll stand before God to give account if they become accountable.

I like the way you constructed your post, especially those words in red. If every child that die will go to heaven according to you, what then happens to people(adults) that die without hearing about the gospel of christ. There are pple that have not really heard abt the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Will they enter heaven too?

folks it will amaze you to know that there was never a time any of these Men of God took a time to teach their subjects on the value of love (which remains the greatest treasure of the divine and mankind) nor on the value of tolerance neither on anything of spiritual values.

Now i know some pals may not see anything wrong in any of those prophesies listed above. . .I dont too. . .but then the question is: do material things ever add value to the spiritual man? In one of my discourse with a man of God on the issue, he said there was nothing wrong afterall they were all prophesies. . .and i was like, Prophesies? prophesies to buy a car? that today is and tomorrow no more. . .Is that what you call good prophesy?[/color]

Prophesies are meant to make people grow better in the journey of the spiritual man and not to get a car that even a sinner can get thru' hardwork. Everything is becoming too artificial. . .make them feel good syndrome is hovering over my faith-confines. . .I discovered that christians dont even read the bible which is suppose to be our tool for growth. . .all they ever clamour are for words to make them feel good temporarily. . .they need someone to tell them they will build a sky-scraper before they die.

How many times have you visited those churches to know what they teach them daily? Do you know if the previous sunday the pastor talked about love,faith ,giving etc.
If you stay in a church few months and all you hear is, you will buy a car, your account will be full, then you can conclude that thats what he teaches, but for few minutes, haha! thats not fair. How many of their messages have you listened to, is not a good thing to condemn pple without having a full knowlegde of what they do in a daily basis. The pple that come to church still have needs, like Hannah went to shiloh to worship but she needed a child, after she has prayed to God, the man of God still prophesied to her and she had her son according to the word of the man of God. That does not made Eli a materialistic prophet, he does not say that to every woman that comes to the temple to pray everyday. That was an appointed time for Hannah, same way today as pple come to church, its someones appointed time to get a  promotion, job, husband, wife, child and so on.

Those pastors did nothing wrong Tonye. Unless your saying thats the only thing they say every minute the their members. Am sure they teach them  how to grow spiritually too.

Have you paid your tithe before, abi you just want to make people send in posts. How come you know how to keep records as a businessman but cant calculate your tithe. This thread na arrangee jare, 10% is so easy to calculate.

It a matter of time my dear, remember you are more than a conqueror. Our God is a faithful God.

Christianity is the earth walk of the new creation, after a man gets born again, GOD leaves him here to reconcile men to him, fulfill his purpose and win in the midst of challenges through his word. How has your walk with God been? I believe Christians in this forum have great testimonies to share on how they have triumphed in the face of challenging situations. Your story could just be what will make other Christians remain standing assured in Christ today.

My walk with God has been beautiful, my parents never went to church, so as a child a wondered from church to church. Until some group of Christians shared the gospel with me. Wow! i got born again; then trouble started. My father threatened to disown me, stop paying my fees and the persecution at home was terrible, but i stood my ground and i told him i would rather drop out of school than stop going to church. Today everybody in my family is born again. God is faithful!

In my early years in the university, I almost got distracted as i met a very wealthy man who before i could say a word, bought me a car. Wow! Promised to take me abroad and on and on. What a temptation, but have been taught that am a seed of Abraham and that i own the world. I KNEW i was rich already, being rich was beyond owning a car,i cld not accept the gift so i returned the car. Then another round of persecution started; friends and relatives mocked me, cos they felt i was brainwashed and thought God sent him as a blessing. Months later the man left that city without a word, cos the police was after him as a result of his illegal deals. Christ! What if i got involved with that man?

Brethren, in this walk we collide with challenging situations like David and Goliath but God is always faithful. The first job i got, i was given an official car. There is no hurry in life, don’t take any short cuts, follow him step by step cos faithful is he that has called you.

but i have a question, since every man is born a sinner and need to be recreated, what happens to children that die young, since they were unable to recieve christ. Will they end up in hell? Since God is no respecter of persons. I have read books on how pple saw children in heaven, do God judge children differently? Cos the bible says except a man a BE BORN AGAIN he cannot enter the kingom of God.
Like the children that die during natural disasters. It was not thier fault, will God but such innocent children in hell?

The day everybody speak well of pst chris, i will not listen to him again. When pple call him false, i feel cool.com, religious pple called Jesus false in his days. A man sent by God cant be stopped, no matter the name they call him.
