I read through sarrki's reason for wanting buhari to win the 2019 election and i couldn't help but laugh. Sarrki hopes that if buhari does 8 years then a yoruba person will replace him in 2023. Why i find it funny is because these afonjas still think they will win a presidential election anymore in nigeria. Where will they get the vote to win? For instance, lets say tinubu or osinbajo or any yoruba candidate runs against maybe atiku or tambuwal or any other hausa candidate, how will the yoruba person win? This is something I wish I wouldn't have to do but I am left with no option as I am at the crossroads.

My brother started smoking lets say about 6-5 years ago, I only got to find out 3 years. He is my immediate elder brother so we are pretty much close, we are also from a Christian family and I can assure you that we were brought up very well. We have other elder siblings (boys).

From his story, I found out he started smoking when he got into University. He got into the federal university in my state and since we weren't based there, he lived alone in the family house.

This is someone who got into school and for his first year studying engineering, he had a very strong 2.1 and bagged Agbami scholarship. Fast forward to 3 years later, he dropped to a 2.2(which he later graduated with) and lost his Agbami scholarship. This same year he came home for hols and started being all by himself. One way or the other, my parents caught him smoking one day, dad scolded him, mum did same but later on went to plead with him to stop. He promised he would but still went back to smoking.

Right now before he goes to someone's house to maybe spend few days he would ask questions like: is there a backyard, is there a lone time in the house? Privacy etc, just so he would smoke.

He smokes weed EVERY single DAY!!!
And now he is getting really slim, anytime I try to talk to him about it he gets angry and walks away.

Just few days ago I noticed he has been drinking something he calls "purple"(he mixes it with maybe coke or ChiExotic). I went into his room and saw a bottle of tutolin which is obviously his "purple". I asked him why he was drinking it, he said he felt like and I told him I was gonna tell someone in the family.

NOW TO MY QUESTION

Should I go ahead and tell a family member/all or I should keep talking to him?

I'm so pained seeing people run away from their fatherland because some group of people who carry sophisiticated weapons to tend cows attack them in their villages. Honestly I wish there is something I could do now to physically defend those guys no matter how costly.

I got a job like that sometimes in 2009 at a consulting firm in Kaduna. I was placed on 2 months probation period with a salary of 50k, and was housed in a 2bed paid for and furnished by the firm.

But after the 2 months I got another letter extending the probation by another 2 month. I replied the letter and rejected the extension. I WAS LET GO. I have no regret at all for my action.

Accept the offer, do your best to impress your employer but don't become a victim of modern slavery.

This is a great question and it caught my attention to reply to this thread? I will try to explain, hopefully you comprehend but if you did not. Hopefully it help other readers.
The reason for secretely watching porn is because of shame and guilt. we feel guilt about something we did and we feel shame for something we are. Both feelings are connected to messages and expectations of others !
I made that bold, hopefully you comprehend by now but i will keep going incase you dont. If you are reading this now, I bet you have seen a naked 4 years or younger, have you ever wondered why they are not ashamed to be naked. We learn to be ashamed because our parent told us to and their parent told them etc. No one is born feeling shame... Now this is where it get complicated and I'm crossing my fingers that you do comprehend. one of the lies we are told is that sexuality is natural and there is biological drive that lead us to feel, think and act in particular sexual way. If you believe this which most people do, it follows that when you view porn, then the belief "natures way" in that it is wrong which feels one with shame. This a very common thinking other than the fact that religion and tradition encourage us to believe this, there is no truth to it. Nature has nothing to do with it. Our shame about porn or even sex begins not within inside but from outside of us. We are told that some kind of sexual activity are ok but others are wrong that not wanting any sex is unhealthy, that too much pleasure is wrong, that being too open about sex is a sign of a problem. I can go on and on but if at this point you dont comprehend, I cant help anymore. I hope you see why people view porn secretly.
