Good day all... I have 2 problems with my 1997 Camry LE auto tranny, 1. When I leave the car under the hot sun with Windows all shut say like 2hrs, the screen that displays mileage upon starting the engine goes blank! Now when this happens, gear shifts (gear 1-2) becomes difficult/sluggish even at high rpm. This also happens when I use my full light, the display also goes blank after 15mins of using full light. The only way the gear shift goes back to normal and the mileage display return is when it cools down or I turn on the A/C for like 15-20mins max while driving... thereby cooling the dash area. Why ![]() 2. My timing belt is always snapping...I have used 4 this year!!! Why ![]() I have used so many brands from so many markets with divers kind of packaging/writ ups on them. I have used the car for 6yrs+ with no major issues, Still does Abuja-Owerri till recently, ...help a brother please Cc Nurey Gazzuzz Kingreign 9icetoo Weyrepey Diportivo Obekediamondfuto Radautoworks |
dat9jaguy:There's actually something like that; name wise. If you're going from town or Owa Eke junction to Ika grammar school there used to be a mixed secondary school by your left before you get to Ika grammar school... what's the name? |
gidgiddy:What's the name accorded to that throne? Is it the king of Agbor? What's the full name of the king before this present one? The more you go back into history the more revealing it gets. The black history is there...it just needs proper documentation. Thank you. |
dat9jaguy:Allow him. My friend from Bayelsa State bears "Township" as surname... does that make him a white man, a foreigner or less Izon? Cultural influence...in simple English! |
rummmy:Ma what is ritualistic? Are we talking about the location or the people? Delta State is a geographical boundary assigned by the government in power...it doesn't take out the people's history. Maybe I didn't get you right, all the same thank you. |
Jman06:I appreciate you. But have you compared the times both kingships came to being...ONITSHA and AGBON? Have you checked the earlier titles accorded to the kingmakers of their different times? Do you know that till date such ancient titles don't get given out to any wealth flaunting fellow except he understands tradition in Ika land? Such titles are less popular now but still tell alot about a people's history. Do you know that a few titles originated from the exploits of some of the father's that did great outside their domain? Check how the title "ORIKEZE" came to be...Chief Egbarin; God rest his soul was not the first bearer; besides is EGBARIN a familiar Igbo word to you? Thank you. |
FortuneDeGreat:Even books now have "IBOs" as a rightful name of a people...does that change history or make it right ![]() |
Donmedra:Thank you!!! In addition, anyone in doubt of the origin of the Ika people can access historical records (written or otherwise) from the palace of EFIEOZOMOR at OWA-OYIBU in Ika North East local government headquarters. The king is old but will gladly help you in your research. Again, anyone that cares should ask for historical records in the custody of the king before the present Dein of Agbor; you will be shocked on how the Bini princes established smaller kingdoms/communities round the central Bini monarchy. For goodness sake what is Agbor and what is Agbon? What is Igbo and what is Ibo?? In the 1920s how does these two groups react to threat/insecurity? Which god do they consult? Where do they seek greater power when calamity strikes? When did kingship become norm in either kingdoms? Have you people cross checked the records at INRI and compared it to that at EFIEOZOMOR' palace? The African history is different...let us check what the monarchy system was like in Igboland in the 1900s and compare to what same was in Agbon at the time. Thanks to everyone who contributed |
AstralBody:History my brother... history! Try and trace the name AGBOR (colonial master's tongue: no meaning in the geographical location in question))...was formerly AGBON (rightful name with meaning) Also check the EARLIER titles for their PRIESTS, way of worship, regalia and gods names. Enough to give you a lead. If you care to dig deeper, visit the palace of EFIEOZOMOR at OWA-OYIBU in Ika North East to access historical records. Thank you! |

kkboy:@ kkboy..."Work is currently on-going" has been the chart burster song in the last five years since I became a regular user of that route. How come the Okigwe (Abia & Imo) axis never received any attention all these while? What's the distance between Enugu & Port Harcourt? It might be of interest to state here that I have done same distance within Kano State alone & have also done more from Zamfara through Kaura to Katsina. That chart burster road takes you from Enugu, Abia, Imo, Abia again then Rivers State. Despite above; the combination of these three States' land mass is just a little higher than 50% of Kano State' land mass alone. My point is... we're being played!!! It's too short a distance for the FGN to be on it for 5 years plus & Okigwe axis continues to be a nightmare...the FGN needs to do more. |
