I re affirm what cyberkid has said. we should just trust in God, let them do the shortlisting and prepare for the Interview. I think since the test is almost strictly I.T that the Interview will follow the same pattern.

So read up on the requirements of the positions you sat for and prepare yourself for the interview.

PS: that dosent mean they are going to ask only I.T question. you just neva can tell. but my bet is that it will surely come. Goodluck to ya'll. One Love.

This is the list of topics that i have books on. So if u dont see what u r looking for on that list its highly probable dat i dont hv it. But dat dosent mean u shouldnt mention it. I might just come across it.

its simply a matter of taste. both actress are photo-genic.

there's a host of ways u can do that. if ur phone supports bluetooth or infra-red simply buy a usb to bluetooth(N2500) or usb to Infra red(1500-2000).

plug the device into the system and start transfering files. ur phone might come with its own cable connection or u can purchase it in the market and use that also to connect ur phone to the PC and from there transfer ur files.

its true Media Player 11 wont work if u r using a pirated copy of windows which 75% or more of Nigerian PC owners use. but that depends on how u r installing it.

if u tell windows or media player to update ur player it might not work after it finishes downloading the necessary files.

to work around this just go to a cafe that has Genuine Windows and download the standalone executable of Media Player 11, copy it and take it back to ur system and install it. iot will work.

I have media player 11 and mt windows is not Genuine. so go and download ur copy.

PS: windows media 11 though it looks nice n cool. Winamp still rocks.

registry mechanic is a program that sanitizes and fixes errors with ur REGISTRY which is the SOUL of windows and can be downloaded from www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/download

like u were told, make sure all users log on in GUEST account mode by so doing u will limit their priviledges drastically eg they cant install programs, tamper with system files etc. they are just their to browse.

norton i believe can be downloaded from the web. u can check their website. or u can go to www.phazeddl.com and download just about anything you want in this world.

there are other firewalls out there u can use like ZoneAlarm etc.

and make sure ur system is at least pentium II 400MHz with at least 128MB RAM, some cafe owners are so mean they still use Pentium I 200MHz with 64MB RAM to browse. That is callousness and exploitation.

this kind of problem mostly happen when u have a slow internet connection and the page u r trying to view dosent load completely thereby limiting its functionality(send wont work).

Maybe that's why ur ISP told u to use firefox or opera coz dey are generally faster than IE(internet explorer), maybe its also a maintenance issue with ur ISP that will subside after sometime.

u might try going to Tools->Internet Options->Advanced(tab) in IE and c if there's an option there that you or somebody else tampered with. Happy Yahooing

for example if u r using win XP, u might try installing a higher OS like win server 2003 or Vista and try accessing those files from the new OS. There things to keep in mind though, the filesystem and the partition.

If where u saved the files was partitioned with(example) NTFS make sure that the file system u will use for the new OS is going to be NTFS. coz FAT cant view/access NTFS, but NTFS can view/access FAT.

when installing the new OS create a new partition from ur existing free space, leave the OS dat has the files alone, or u will end up 4cking the files up.

there alot u can don online, to name just a few

1.     u can download just about anything(eBooks, progs, apps etc)
2.     check ur email and reply dem
3.     chat online
4.     get background info on any soul(mostly in the States)
5.     get answers on just about any question u can throw
6.     search a Billion plus web pages using ma beloved Google
7.     get world cities maps from Google if u know how
8.     get info like Certification requirements, tutorials, tips and hints

The list is endless, i use i principle when am online, and dat is "let ur imagination run wild" u can get virtually anything u desire on the web, HAPPY SURFING ya'll

maybe u told Norton to do a Full System Scan at every Startup. Try deselecting that option in Norton.

U might wanna try reducing the number of your startup programs. Your RAM also might be the cause(try upgrading). There are alot of things that can cause dis problem.

But since it started afta u installed Norton, try the first suggestion.
