We just lost our heritage, culture and tradition to an Israeli man who lived 2000 years ago.

Another name for salvaged vehicles on Copart is: "CRASHED TOYS". These cars come with a dent here and there that the buyer will have to refurbish upon arrival to Nigeria. The level of damage to each car is quite different and it's reflective on the final cost of the car. Simply put, the better the quality of the car, the more it'll cost to win it during the live bidding process.

It can't be an easy decision to buy a car you can clearly see has been involved in an accident. At the end of the day though, I understand those clean title cars may just be out of reach for a lot of people. Therefore, I have personally set standards, based on my experience buying from Copart. While these set standards are not foolproof, it helps to weed out most cars that are not worth buying. These are the standards:

1. Avoid Flooded vehicles at all cost.

2. For safety reasons, airbags [b]must be intact[/b]

3. The damage to the vehicle shouldn't affect the engine bay.

Just finished going through this thread and it has never been pertinent and obvious to me that I should import my next car. A vehicle is major capital expenditure and should not come with headache.

The repairs effected in Lagos Nigeria, it will be far expensive if done in the USA. The US cheaper repair option won't be good (Mexicans).

I have had 2 clients that I referred to this thread when they made enquiries that rejected this vehicle.

Weeks after to follow up, I realized they bought worse accident at far higher prices.

I sent one of them the accident pictures of what the company finally bought for him (an E.D. of a company) and they are still fighting it out with the top dealership. I can't share the info here unfortunately.

I need money, but also peace of mind to sleep well with my family and not tarnish the family name.
