Stop using engine flush. Let the mechanic remove as much sludge as he can remove with his hands, close up engine and always change your oil at 1000miles which is 1600km or 2 to 3months whichever comes first.
The sludge will eventually decrease with frequent oil changes but ensure the oil is mineral oils.

Anything make you switch to synthetic the bleech and detergent in that synthetic oil will wash all the sludge down blocking your oil strainer and oil pump, engine go knock laslas

I have used the hyundai accent 2008 which is same as kia Rio of same year a colleague used the Kia Rio and both cars are 99% identical except that accent is tagged more luxurious than Rio because Rio sport a rack and pinion while accent uses EPS for steering.

The vehicle are reliable and strong, they wade in water and take potholes very well. Even with the punny engine they are very good in highway driving, cause I used my only for highway traveling.

Those bought new in Nigeria
1. The temp guage is not ur normal temp guage, b4 the guage will warn you of overheating, things are already out of hand.

2. Once they repair those engines, their life never remains the same again

3. I heard those engine cost 650k back in 2019 to 2020 which was X2 cost of corolla and honda civic engine then, I wonder how much it would be now.

The American variant engines are cheaper, has the conventional temp guage and way better build quality than those of naija brand

If nah dana specs (bought brandnew in Nigeria) please avoid. Those bought in as tokunbo is better

I would pick the civic, more popular and better gas mileage. The Elantra isn't bad too, but cost of parts over the civic is high.

The accord coupe is good too not as fuel efficient as the remaining two but still capable. Also coupe arent for family person and they don't have good resale value in Nigeria

I need an upgrade , tho I sometimes drive on bad roads but I mostly drive on fairly good roads. I am considering the accord 2013 but at the same time I'm worried about ground clearance. Please recommend any good upgrade not more than 6m. Use a Pilot 07 and civic 07 at the moment

If you use the civic to ply the bad roads and it triumph I don't see why the Accord won't do well there also. But you can go for a CRV just to have more ground clearance with a bit of fuel economy

That is a very difficult decision to make. The transmission shifts very well, in fact, I only escalated this because of the oil leak. Also the transmission is 2m as of today. Isn't that an overkill?

Okay, just ensure the work is done in a clean environment as adviced contact kingreign though I doubt if he will sell you transmission parts he ain't fixing

Guys, where can I get very good transmission torque converter and transmission oil pump for 2010 es350? I've searched the whole of abuja for it but can't find it. My transmission is throwing up transmission fluid and the gear guy said it's the pump and torque converter that is bad. Please how do I source for a good one? I need it urgently and I'm in abuja currently. My car has been grounded for a week now
