Yes, for example, some 4WD or AWD automatic vehicles can be towed with the driven wheels on the ground and gear in N, dragged at a particular speed X for certain distance Y while others can only be towed using flatbed or only rear wheels on the floor.

Please why does vehicle transmissions develop fault or fail after using it to tow another vehicle?
I have seen this happen to a friend's car and people keep saying it.
Now someone used my car to tow his and I'm getting scared.

Transmission can't fail on a car towing another vehicle except you tow far above the cargo towing capacity recommended by the manufacturer.
i have used a Corolla to tow a vehicle 3years ago and it's transmission hasn't failed.

A vehicle can have it's transmission spoilt when towed in the wrong way and that is applicable majorly to automatic transmissions. You don't tow a dead car with it's drive wheels on the floor whether it is FWD, RWD or AWD, there are laid down procedures for towing which should be adhere to as laid down by the manufacturer

Please if not disturbing you or not bothering you, I want you to teach me about meaning of chinko.
I saw that word on this Website many times.
Seems like not good word for Japanese and Chinese or for Asians.
But I still don't know real meaning.
Is that Pidgin English or Nigerian language?
Bad name for Asian peoples?

In Japan, chinko mean is men's private parts.
So I was very surprised when I saw that word at first.
And very interesting to me about Japan and Nigeria have same word!

I'm sorry for disturbing you again.

The word chinko is a Nigerian slang which means "inferior product" it was born out of the fact that Nigerians believe a lot of cloned fake products come from China especially during the reign of Android phones back then.

So when a product or goods is tagged chinko, it means the product is of less quality than market specs

pidgin English and broken English is samething, pidgin is the street name, broken is the Posh name.

Japanese learn English in school.
But if don't need to use English on work place, not go to abroad, don't talk with foreigner etc,
Most of Japanese including me, don't have any problem if can't speak, write and read English.

And of course many Japanese can speak, write and read English very well.

About me, English is very difficult to me.
I don't need use English on my work place now. I'm learning English by myself.
My husband is Nigerian man.
Our conversation is Japanese and English.
(Sometimes I learn Igbo language from him)
I worked with foreigners before and I have foreigner friends.
Everybody is my English teacher.
I'm learning English little by little.
Very very slow.
I know my English is bad and I'm already lost confidence about my English.
Learning English is not easy to me.
Very very hard.
But I don't wanna give up.
I will not give up

If hard reach meaning like difficult, Yes!
Very difficult and very hard to me.
But if I'm misunderstanding, I'm very very sorry.

Hard reach means difficult but that in itself isn't English, it is broken English grin

maybe after English you will also learn broken English grin

I got harassed by road safety Marshalls couple of days ago for driving my van without the speed limiter device. Shortly after, they tried to cajole me to patronise their agents to install the limiter for me, but already, I was pissed and couldn't trust that they would do the right thing without something in it for them.

So, I would like to know where one can get an approved FRSC Speed Limiter agents to install the device into my car. Better still the most current Approved Vendors nationwide to help others too.

No too much noise you are better with a RX300 than a EOD because

The Lexus comes well equipped, luxurious, good ground clearance, a well balanced Engine and power. The EOD isn't bad if you are after fuel economy EOD 05 or DC06-07 is better than EOD03-04

Bro, pls Benz 2012 c250 vs Lexus 2012 ES 350

The C250 is a turbo charged 4 cylinder for that year with 201hp while the ES is a 6 cylinder with 268hp.

The ES is a top of the line midsize luxurious vehicle while the C250 is also a top of the line compact luxurious vehicle as it is a Canadian spec.

Reliability the ES is above the C250

fuel efficiency the C250 triumps

Overall driving experience C250 is better because it is a sport oriented vehicle

luxury though the C class design was inspired by the S class, it still had some stripped down version of luxury offers, I did say the ES is a tad better in this aspect.

If the Acura TL is a luxurious Accord and people dissuade you from buying I wonder why they would recommend Honda Accord.

Some Acura models had fragile transmission installed but definitely not the 09 to 15 TL.

Does the gear fail how about the engine capacity, fuel economy, parts availability and cost

As for prestige, a lexus is a premium brand, commands more respect. Even in NCS duty, it is higher than a Honda accord of same year. Brand new, a Honda accord is cheaper than a Lexus of same year, even tokumbo. Fit and finish in the Lexus is better than the Honda. Build quality same, NVH levels is lower in Lexus too.

You are really funny indeed. The comparison is between a Lexus ES330 and 2008 Honda Accord. I already have idea of Engine prices and the Honda Engines are expensive than a 3MZ.

Reliability Both vehicles are known to be reliable and without much issues.

Tech depends on what trim you are buying EX-L or touring accord are very well loaded to the teeth, the ES330 has a trim well loaded too, base to base the Lexus has more standard luxury features.

Prestige this one is tricky nothing prestigious about both, they are everywhere.

more respect, pros and cons are well documented, no vehicle without issues, just buy a good one and take good care of it.

The Accord engine is costlier than the ES, the Accord 4 cylinder engine has better fuel efficiency, the V6 Accord is faster. I did pick an Accord due to the year, as the ES is just like a glorified big daddy Camry.

Tokunbo VW Passat B5 with 1.6/1.8/2.0 engine only, reliable, strong and body doesn't fall apart tokunbo parts are cost effective and they are still solid than tokunbo parts of others.

if you are buying naija used, just buy Honda Accord though be weary of it's transmission highly susceptible to failure, the major reason I always avoid old accord is because reliable tokunbo parts start getting scarce as it age.

Acura TL was succeeded by TLX, TL stopped in 2015 while TLX started in 2014 till date.

Target the TL from 09 model upwards the previous models had Honda notorious transmission build quality, which made them fragile and susceptible to failure.

The vehicle is related to the Accord of same year meaning mechanical parts of the Accord are interchangeable with the vehicle.

1. Don't buy a CLS because it is cheap.

2. It's a Benz and shares platform with the E class W211, that vehicle wasn't a rust bucket I am not certain it shares the SBS brake issues because platform was only Engine, wheelbase and transmission.

3. It is a very luxurious vehicle, luxurious vehicle parts breakdown frequently after the warranty period elapses and they are expensive to maintain. If you can foot the bill then you drive the ride.

4.2005 and 2006 was the year Benz sold more units, I am certain those 2 years would be great buy for you.

5. it comes with airmatic this part when failed is very expensive to replace
