State governors are the statutory chief security officers of their state, so at an official level , that puts the all police in his state under him.

First class chiefs and traditional rulers are not recognised at any official capacity in Nigeria.

Do u know what is National Salute? In military functions that involve parade and playing of bands, there are two types of honours for welcoming special dignitaries. They are called National and General Salutes. The General Salute is for the President or (his representative) or past presidents and head of states or the service chiefs. The National Salute is for state governors, first class chiefs and very few others I can't remember. In both cases, as the dignitary arrives, everybody will rise and the most senior officer Salutes the dignitary while the band and other instruments are played. This announces the arrival of the dignitory. The only difference between the two is the type of music played. Are u saying that a person entitled to this salute is not entitled to ordinary hand salute?

I think the military style salute is wrong. The only civilians to be recipient of that salute are the governors and their deputies as chief security officers of their respective states.

But then Nigerian military and para military have always been unprofessional.

The hand salute is very correct. State governors and first class chiefs are entitled to National Salute not to even talk of hand salute.

Guy, this is not instinct and the officer did not commit any crime. All first class chiefs are entitled to hand salute. In military functions, there is this thing they call National Salute, and all state governors and first class chiefs are entitled to it. Forget all these people that must just make noise over everything.

What makes the oil deposit the property of Niger Deltans? If not for the oil spillage u are not entitled to extra dime from federation alloc. Did u plant OYEL? If u didn't, what makes it ur property? Hypocrisy or not on the part of the Muslims, the big and yet to be answered question is; What is ur business? Even if a muslim lady can do that, she wouldn't bother wearing hijab contrary to what the post is trying to make us believe. If they are Muslims according to the post, it means that even those porn videos in which the actors are dressed in monks/nuns regalia, the actors are actually monks and nuns then. But the question, again, begging for answer is; what do the monks and nuns intend to achieve by posting those videos online? To ridicule and discredit THEIR faith or what? Check through the whole over 3 million topics on this forum and tell me which of them was posted by a Muslim accusing u of one thing or the other. But I can assure u that I have lost counts of the number of threads openned by ur folks either insulting the Muslims or accusing them of one thing or the other. The Muslims are not saying anything about decency or lack of it for the christians. They don't give a damn and is not as if they are not seeing what is happening is just that Muslims prefer to mind their business, is this a case? The only time u see a muslim writing on threads about decency is when they are responding to accusations. The bottom line is, since u know u are decent and the Muslims are indecent, pls continue with ur decency and allow the Muslims with their indecency. Finally, I wish to let u know that u don't need to insult in order to hold ur ground but if u do, what it means is that ur position is shaky and u have run short of reasonable logic in ur favour. If u want insult to be part of the argument, don't turn around and accuse me of what u started.

Are they really militants? They might be herdsmen or cult group in disguise who executed this wicked act. It might even be a reprisal attack - no one knows.

I don't know when wearing a piece of cloth sold in the market automatically suggests the religion of the wearer. Certainly, any Muslim lady who wants to go unclad doesn't even give a damn about hijab. We are seeing them all over the places. Infact, this new method of getting a prostitute, cover her head with cloth then take a photograph of the exposed part and post it online to create an impression doesn't even appeal to common sense. Most people who actually agree with this gimmicks are just the ones wishing and praying hard for such, otherwise what actually suggests that she is a muslim. If she is a muslim and she is pretending and she post her unclad pix online, what makes her a pretender then. Try another propaganda which ur folks are known for but Insh'allah u will never succeed.

Guy, there are some car parts that their tokunbo are better than the new ones. Most of these new parts are either China or Aba made which cannot stand the rigours involved on our roads but the tokunbo are the 'follow come' which came with the cars from the original manufacturers. A whole car is disassembled and the parts are sold in pieces. If u can get new parts from the original manufacturers, certainly it is the best but that is not practicable in Nigeria.

If u have a good mechanic and u treat him well, I don't think u will have any problem except if he didn't notice any impending fault. It is also important u give him the impression that he can lose u if he attempts to play fast one on u. I'm talking from experience. Infact, even if my car doesn't develop any fault after a month in which case it is due for servicing, I simply give him the key for servicing and diagnosis of any unnoticed fault. Sometimes he even crack jokes that I'm always looking for fault as if I want the car to develop one.
