rebekah2011:Aunty are we talking about the same company (MAYBAKER) ![]() http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/MAY%20BAKER%20Q3%20SEPT%202015.pdf So I know weda I need glasses in this old age ![]() |
betcindy:N0.04k EPS as at Q3 '15? Do your DD sha |
Izzlike the Oando bull trap have catch some people? |
holm:Wait! Wait !! Wait!!! "we expect our full year 2015 profit in US dollar terms to be lower than the nine-months to 2015 reported profit." We need either the ability to short stocks or the SEC needs to sit up... Management and Directors are really taking shareholders for a ride |
Manonamission:We don't trust them... but >10% yield is not something to be sniffed at sha... falls within my JIJO spectrum *thinks* |
jp130:Nna let me know when you lock target... me sef dey find... I have too much exposure to banking industry now so can't load more Zenith |
Just invested my fuckit money into Access Bank... Anyway it goes I wont lose much |
Me sha... I cannot buy GT Bank for more than N15.00 as it will be against my religion... On the bright side there are currently 18million sellers vs 4million buyers so it is probably heading to full offer soon ![]() |
Hehehe... e be like the market don calm down the early morning exuberance because except my eyes are paining me I can see people dumping |
feelamong:How can I do this with Morgan Itrade? Didn't see the option online... Do I have to call them or send an email? |
Morning House, Please who knows of any Nigerian broker that does Stop Loss Orders? * I'm trying to reduce how much time I spend monitoring the market. |
wizdonnel:Investment One offers Margin Facilities limited to 50% of your portfolio's realisable value with an APR of about 30%. I don't know of any brokers that offer the ability to short sha. |
WeNigerDelta:Please share the information with me as well... I would like to participate in Short Selling one or two stocks as well...(they know themselves) |
jarkbauer:That is not short selling, that is called day trading. Short selling is when you borrow stocks from you broker and sell them, you are betting that the stock price will go down (not up) and then you can buy them back cheaper and return to the broker while you keep your profit. |
WeNigerDelta:No Nigerian broker currently does short-selling because the SEC expressly forbids it... Even order types are very limited (<10) |
When I run from UBA on Monday everybody dey say bros izz too early ![]() I don use my money plus acceptable N0.40k capital gains secure more AFRIPRUD and FIDELITYBK since... Zenith do release result make I sell after the rally and load more AFRIPRUD... Na recession we dey so! |
Pesuzok:36 million bids... Yesterday over 110million units were traded Insider trading sure wallahi |
talk2me2:So they will reverse their Q3 15 YTD loss of about N48billion in just one Quarter, and do well as to pay N1? Thank you for this information sir! |
mercylicious:You didn't... I'm sure you made at least N0.50k per share... I suspect the price will go down again and one can re-enter before their result hits the exchange |
Please does anyone know what's triggering the huge activity volumes on FIDELITYBK today? 95million units just got traded |
Who are all those trying to dump FCMB? ![]() |
Zenith Bank! Zenith Bank! Hmmm |
I wonder why people are buying Oando sha... If they have a hedge in place then the increases in the oil price below the hedge price will not affect them (fundamentally)... Anyway, maybe I will enter in two years if they are still around ![]() |
lancee:When I sold my UBA yesterday to lock in my gains... I was looking foolish... Toh I see 11 million shares on offer and only 4million bids ![]() |
ExLaidback:I entered at N0.73K and I will buy more when people start offering... I am willing to buy up to N0.80k *Not an investment advice, ensure you do due diligence* |
Nigeria is currently in a recession... at least as far as the latest NBS GDP numbers show... All I'm thinking about is recession-proof investments that come rain come sun will give me my required return on capital... So far I'm long on AFRIPRUD and NEM ... Can the house share any other suggestions I can do DD on? Thanks |
ufotty2001:I think the main two lessons I have learnt are; 1) Buy you a good stock and you can go to sleep regardless of market direction 2) JIJO is stressful After experiencing 2008 sha... my greed get limits |
Hello All, So I have been having some thoughts on valuations... How can FBNH and AFRIPRUD be having similar share prices - ie. N3.7 vs N3.4? Does it have to do with the outstanding shares? I'm asking because FBNH has full ownership of a slew of businesses including FBN Registrars (which can go head to head with AFRIPRUD), a profit making banking subsidiary, one of the largest insurance companies (after they bought Oasis insurance) as well as FBN Capital Or am I missing something? |
ufotty2001:I have set a investment threshold... I'm not too greedy... Once I hit my set premium, I exit... I have exited AFRIPRUD, TIGERBRANDS and now UBA... Waiting for the rest... After earnings season I put my money in bonds or Afriprud... Shikena |
veecovee:Expecting FY div to come in at N0.15K |
ufotty2001:I don sell my UBA today... I am not greedy afterall (although I bought at N2.X) ![]() Let me look for the next stock to enter for earnings season |
ExLaidback:I honestly don't know the reason why, but on a hunch I have loaded on Mansard and NEM. NEM's cash balance as at Q3 per share was almost equal to the SP then... then it's P/E also looks good But I think someone mentioned that they have tight hand when it comes to dividends |
