This Maduka is a complete fool.

Can He make N450million in Anambra talk less of paying such amount as TAX?

He should relocate his businesses back to Anambra and leaves there, Pay his TAX their and come back after one year to tell us his testimony.

All of you guys knows your region is a God Forbidden and Barren land, more reason why you take refuge in Lagos and Kano.

Go back to your land and develop it and save us all these baby cry.

Innonson is in Nnewi, others should follow and relocate.

I have never seen a Chest beating tribe like the Igbos in my life.

Elizade is bigger than Coscharis and would pay more taxes than Coscharis but you will never hear Yoruba's talk about it. What is wrong with this people sef are you the only ones that make money in this country.
Elizade bigger than Coscharis in your dreams. Coscharis main business till today is auto parts marketing and not the various motor vehicle franchises he holds. He markets all ABRO products in West and Central Africa

He's into pharmaceuticals, agriculture and FMCG as well as Banking.

I disagree.

1. Because, Maduka only give back 10% of what Lagos gives him.
2. It takes one who receives to give back.
3. If he isn't getting something from Lagos he has nothing to offer or give back.
4. For maduka to pay such amount that means his business is dead without Lagos.
5. Lagos made him, developed him and not the other way round that's why he has to give back.
6. And last but not the least,N450 million tax money is not enough to develop Lagos, lagos generate far more than that and her budget is almost a trillion naira. Also, maduka and other ibo villagers should stop abusing the word ' developed ' nigeria neither lagos is developed.

Thank you. cool
Mmaduka is just one out of millions of Igbos investing in Lagos thereby not only paying taxes but also providing employment, paying 'owo da' and helping keep omo oniles off the streets.

Meanwhile, it's states that go looking for investors not the other way round so Lagos and Lagosians should be grateful to the likes of Mmaduka who have invested in the state.

Eminent personalities led by Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Coscharis Group , Dr. Cosmas Maduka made the call at this year’s League of Anambra Professionals (LAP) End-of-Year Lecture and Dinner in Lagos.

Maduka, who spoke on the topic: “Capitalising on untapped opportunities in Anambra”, said his firm pays N450 million tax yearly and he personally pays  N50 million yearly. He added that his state, Anambra, would benefit greatly from these monies for its growth, if he lived or was based there.

Company remitting tax is very different from paying tax.

He did not say remit he said pay

Companies remit VAT as well so if he that would shrink th tax that the company pays
please save that waffle for illiterates like you.

What is the total PAYE What is the wage bill
This must have given you a sleepless night dude

What is Include?

What else is there besides PAYE?

If it is PAYE of EMPLOYEES how can he claim his company pays the TAX ? If the employees pay 450 milion as Tax what is their salary and what is the tax rate ? You think all of us have Akpu in our head like Ebola peoplehuh
There are various Taxes in Lagos state.

The company remits PAYE on behalf of employees.

You are already ranting like you have akpu for brain.

Once again PAYE is paid by individuals s not companies

He pays salaries to his workers which will reflect in his profitt and loss staatement as an EXPENSE and NOT as a TAX

You are not dealing with illiterate OMATA boys. Wages are a business cost NOT a tax.

So do not include PAYE AT ALL .

If he is paying 450 million as parking permit how much does he pay as company tax? What is he parking? A Naval destroyer or the Titanichuh

Not everyone is as unintelligent as you so clearly are

I am very sure the idiot may even include VAT which he merely collects and remits to the FG as HIS OWN tax.

Ebolas are that vain
A company's employees PAYE can be argued to be part of the tax contribution to the state owing to activities of the company.

PoliticsRe: Lagos Will Fold Without Ndigbo.. FACT!!! by nwabobo: 8:09pm On Nov 21, 2017
globemoney:
Let me contribute to the trending topic about igbos and lagos. I will make my opinion in perspective with what Governor Obiano said:

This is a fact.. Anambra people and indeed igbos are one of the biggest tax payers in Lagos. It's erroneous for some misinformed people to be citing only Dangote while trying to disclaim this fact.

Lagos is NOT an oil producing state, one of it's major revenue comes from the ports and a quick check shows that Anambra people and indeed igbos control over 50% of activities in Lagos port. Anyone should disclaim this with facts.

Secondly, the major markets in Lagos are controlled by igbos.. Fact! The biggest auto mobile dealers in Lagos are igbos (majorly Anambra people too), The private oil sector in Lagos is controlled by igbos.. the biggest private oil jetty in Nigeria located in Lagos is owned by who? igbo.. The biggest radio station in Lagos, is owned by who? Igbo.. I can keep going on and on.

I dare say that if igbos withdraw all these investments back to igboland, Lagos will fold immediately! So Governor obiano is correct, igbos pay most of the taxes in Lagos..

Lagos ACN already laid this matter to rest in a previous statement, where it stated and I quote

http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2013/07/31/lagos-is-safe-for-igbo-says-acn/

Whether anyone accepts it or not, Lagos will fold without igbos and no amount of propaganda will stop us from saying this! It is a fact whether anyone likes it or not. I have never seen any igbo person laying claim to the economy of ogun and ibadan (where yorubas invest majorly in), but for Lagos, the truth must be said, if you don't accept it, provide your alternative fact on this thread, I'm willing to engage all!

Thanks
