I weep for Nigeria honestly. Even poorest Rwandan immigration now want to form with his master Nigerian? Wonder shall never end. May be that was your first time of traveling out of the country and you acted so primitively, not like a Nigerian, that could have given the immigration officer the impetus to treat you in that manner. Let me tell you and others this. If you are traveling to any African country or a country like Rwanda as a Nigerian, you ought to hold you head and shoulder up and high, never behave timid, because no matter how bad Nigeria is, no African country could belittle her citizen, unless you don't know who you are. That country respect Nigerians a lot, i would have refused to show him or her the money on me if i was the one and they wont do nothing. Next time behave like a boss, don't be timid and disgrace us, bro.

I don't know anytime you guys see a little asphalt road in another country you guys start foaming in your mouth about your country..

Nigeria is bad we know but you want to tell me we don't have such a road you see there anywhere in Nigeria?

That is how you guys talked about Ghana better than Nigeria in development at the end of the day it's only a fraction of their capital.
Bro check my comments on this thread so far and you will know my stand but haven said that, the truth is that no road(s) or city in Nigeria comes any where close to the beauty of Kigali in all ramification. I mean KIGALI o, not other parts of Rwanda. Kigali is miles ahead of all Nigerian cities in just about every thing, and that's the sad truth.

Before coming here I have done my own research. I said corruption is almost nonexistent and that would mean very very low. When a country’s elites push corruption that low, the system is barely affected by it. There is still corruption even in America, but national interest will always come first.

Their politicians here aren’t wealthy. They do not have Oil or major natural resources but yet see what they have done with the little they have.

Go to other African countries and within 24 hours you will feel and chew corruption. E.g Nigeria, Kenya,Uganda, Ghana even South Africa
And i have lived there and worked with locals, so you check you and i who stood a better chance of knowing Rwanda and her rulers better? Ever wondered why i keep using the word ''ruler'' instead of ''leader''? Oga leave that thing, Kagame isn't a leader but a tyrant ruler. No one criticises him because you will die if you do, so every one live in fear of him and his government, you dare not talk openly about his government either constructively or condemnably because the next person close to you could be his spy. So every body there do exactly what you are doing here now to be on the safe side, that's sing Kagame's praise, i did the same too when i was there. I even did worst, because my own i was cursing Nigeria, her rulers and was openly praying that God should transfer the natural resources He gave to Nigeria to Rwanda, i made sure people heard me say this prayer every day so that i will not be spied on or framed. Most of the biggest hotels and investments in Kigali are owned by their politicians (which is good any way, at least they steal and invest parts of loots in their country, unlike Nigerians rouges cum politicians who steals and invest it in other countries) and they drives exotic cars just like others in other African countries. The only reason their own corruption is not well announced is because Rwanda had nothing, they only depend hugely on aids, so like i told you before, their own politicians steals codedly, so once again, leave that thing, oga. I still love Kigali though.

Paul Kagame is doing a fantastic job. Corruption among the political class is almost nonexistent. Most of the politicians live a normal live. Rwanda's development should be studied in most African universities. African's problem starts and ends on Leadership. Rwanda proves it.

Really? Corruption among the political class is non existence? You have only been in that country for just 3days as you said and you already knows this much? Who is feeding you with all that tells? Because i don't think 3days is any where close to enough time to know these much about a country you have never been to before. Kigali is very great and Kagame is trying but please leave that corruption is almost none existence crap please. Rwandan rulers or politicians are as corrupt as most African countries rulers, only that they steals codedly.

but i specified on my post that I preferred African countries, I only said what my sis advised me to do, that's where mexico came into place, but you guys are making it sound like I don't know what am saying. my plans are African countries, not south American countries.i know fully well that 2.4m naira is nothing compared to dollars. thanks for your contribution also
Have been reading comments on this post for the past 3days now and didn't see the need to comment until now. Well, my humble advise to you should be that you consider an African country like you stated in the main post and in that case, like somebody has commented i will advise you to look in the direction of Kigali Rwanda. That country is doing so well now that i was told of a man who have lived in that Mexico your sister is advising you to save money for, for many years now who is planning of relocating to Kigali Rwanda. So even if you have up to 2.500,000 i will still advise you to go for an African country. So research and look in that direction. God help you.
Travel / Re: Israel Pilgrimage Visa by nwadikeokey11: 7:48pm On Nov 22, 2021
Treasurefield:
Good day Travel community.
Please, I need the help of persons who could kindly tell me how to go about processing Israel visa for a small group of 3 elderly persons.
The challenge I have been encountering with the travel agents I have made contacts with is that they only plan for a group at a stipulated period with flight and accommodation.

In this case, these persons want to go on their own at their own time.

I need help with processing their visa only.
Kindly assist me with Information and referrals.

Thank you so much in anticipation.
(1) Passport data page that has at least 6months before expiration. (2) 2 passport photograph. (3) Your bank account statement, plus that of your sponsor or your company own if you are sponsoring yourself. (4) Letter of leave from your company or a photo copy of your company CAC, that's if you are the owner of your company. (5) Receipt from a Tour company in Israel that will guide you during your visit to Israel. (6) Flight and hotel reservation receipts. (7) A letter stating while you want to travel to Israel. And any other genuine documents that may support your visa application. When you have gathered all these documents, visit Israeli Embassy Abuja web site at. embassies.gov.il/abuja/. When you have opened it, scroll down to visa application section and when you have opened it you will see at the top. Consular service, click on it and it will bring out list of visa types, business, tourism and pilgrimage visas, etc, click on the type of visa you want to apply for and 3things will come out. (1) Basic requirements. (2) general visa form which is the one you need, forget the rest and click on it and download it, then print it out and fill the form. After you have done this, go to consular-service@abuja.mfa.gov.il and submit all the documents in PDF format only, and then book for your visa interview at their email. info@abuja.mfa.gov.il. But bear this in mind. That the older you are the better your chances of getting a pilgrimage visa to Israel. In fact any thing less than 50yrs is almost an automatic denial. Good luck.

Goldmyneexpress:

This person shouting USA and Canada never process travelling b4. #3m na paper.
He can actually travel to US on a tourist visa with less than a million naira if he processes the visa himself. Some of u here make this thing sounds so impossible. With less than 3mil he can travel to any country of the world if he can process the visa himself. It is not all about money but ur ability to prove to the interviewing officer or embassy official that u have a strong tie to ur home country and would be returning back to ur home country after a brief visit to their country. All those monies are spent on agents, that's if u don't know how to process the visa urself and had to get d services of a agent. The first time I wanted to travel to the US some yrs ago, an agent charged me a million naira just to help me fill the forms and also "prepare' me for visa interview, and the so called preparation was wat got my application denied. I did the second time by myself and got approved and at that time US tourist visa for Nigerians cost only 50k plus. Now compare mere 54k I spent on my own to get the visa and a million naira an agent charged me yet I got denied and see where people are wasting all this millions on. As far as US is concerned, no agent can help u get their visa, ur visa approval or denial by US embassy is exclusively at the discretion of the interviewing officer, period.

Lol don't mind them. I also don't want to do any investment outside Africa. I have tech desires.. Working remotely, bring the mk eh home, build one or two things that I can be remembered for. Nigerians are just ingested in looking for work, carry women and fvck
Na so my brother, read some of their comments in some posts and u will wonder if indeed some of them really have future. Some will be asking to know how sweet the women in those countries are, and whether they carry big nyash and knows how to fu.k well. Very terrible set of people indeed.

Yea.. But everyone is not poor in Africa. And everyone is not rich in Europe. I don't understand Nigerians. I said Africa, there was no need asking me about that. I would have said Europe if I wanted.
My buisness model is good for the african market.
I'm not hungry, I'm not looking for work. I just wanted a different African capital that is safer. I'm touring Accra now and I love it and there are many Europeans here too.
The problem with many Nigerians is that they can't create jobs. They are always looking for where they will go and work. That is not me. I already built a skillset that I offer across the word. I want to build it further and open a physical centers here.

When u are in a sane African country, and smart, u can live well and earn ur money. It is cheap labour.
Belove pls ignore them. I created a post here some time ago where I was making enquiry on KIGALI, the capital of Rwanda and some people here insulted me. I had bin there before but moved out to go look for a better money so that I can go back there and invest, cos personally I don't want to live or invest outside Africa. Some guys here started saying trash not knowing that I have bin to most of those their so called super countries of the world but still choose Africa, KIGALI to be precise. That Rwandan capital is the main thing in all indices, in Africa now. Security, power, peace of mind, economy, etc. I'm almost ready to move back there in couple of months. So I will advise u to look in the direction of KIGALI, RWANDA capital. You could make more research and inquiry on that. So many Africans, Nigerians in particular believes that unless Europe, America and some super developed Asian countries they will never make it else where, forgetting that not every one in those countries are rich just as not every one in Africa is poor. If every one in those their edorado countries are rich I wonder why some of their citizens are in Africa and wat they are doing in Africa. Follow where ur heart leads u, bro. Thank u.

Those who dig holes and sell agbo are very essential workers
I wont look down on them
And would suggest you dont do same....
My point is that Yorubas travel to other places to eke out a living and is not a bad thing
But people saying Yoruba dont travel or south east Is "barren" is talking crap...

We also have professionals from the south west doing their thing in port harcourt, UNN and the likes.

Cheers
Who am I to look than on God's creature? NO, sir, not me, for I have no time for such but the point I'm trying to raise here is the idea or believe that Yoruba land is edorado and as such doesn't need people of that region living in other regions of the country, especially in Igboland. I'm only debunking that their false believe and assumption, and not in any way looking down on any one. Thank u.

As per your first question
A LOT!
IN Lagos and Kano states
We have a lot lot lot of people from Oyo state living there
From the way you comment
You are very unexposed
Even in PH and Eket
We have A LOT of Yorubas living there
Even in Onitsha
UNN have a sizeable Yoruba population as students

Travel out of your fox hole and see the wonders and complexity of this country
You no gree
I visited one Ikwerre village that's close to PH to see my family, my wife is from Rivers State, my brother I must say, the number of Yoruba people in that village is almost the number of Ikwerre indigens. They are all over the places, so many that I had to ask my wife if there are indigenous Yoruba people in that village. Every where u turn to u will see them, even their mosques are every where. Not only in Rivers State, even my community in Imo state, Yorubas are every where doing menial jobs and selling agbo, but those Yoruba craps will come to social media to comment rubbish on how Igbo people are all over their place. They should travel out of their huts to see that their people are in every interior villages of Nigeria. The Igbo in their states live majorly in cities and big towns and those in villages are doing big businesses, unlike their people who digs holes, soaker ways, do menial jobs and sell agbo jaji in South Eastern states, jobs that even my own indigenous people can not do. They shud travel and see.

Well done for bringing up this subject.

Racism is everywhere.
While I have experienced it right here in Nigeria with the whites who work in the construction industry, I would say it is far worst in the USA, which I consider as the headquarters of racism in the world.

The major reason I think people avoid Israel in their travel plan is the fear of Hezbollah bombings and its like which the media portrays as a daily occurrence in Israel.
Thanks bro for shedding more light

My type is the funny ones. My ambitions are the crazy type.

Well, I have always want to experience and explore the Lagos lifestyle due to my ambitions and business acumen.

I'm the techie type and highly business inclined.

I'm into some online business (E-commerce, &Freelancing) but since late last year, it has been rough. Some of my friends that had similar issue were able to resolve theirs or ventured into other businesses but I'm still running round the circle.

Of course, I strong believe environment plays a big path in human growth and development.

I live in the east at the moment, and my environment has been beneficial so far, but I think I needed to change to a more competitive and exposed environment to attain the next level.

Lagos has been on my mind due to recent advice from my mentor and few of my online friends all base in Lagos and doing well for themselves.

Now, NYSC was only hope of breaking into the Lagos atmosphere but my department hasn't been helping matters.

I'm still a semi-fresh graduate that wants to make way for my generation.

I graduated since 2019 had issue with my result which has been resolved but my department has been to lazy to post our results for approval and our chances of going for Batch C stream II is almost very slim.

The next batch is by next year possibly March or April.

And I don't think I can wait till then. My parents are no longer comfortable seeing me around even though I don't stay with them.

And yes, our relationship has been poor since then.

I don't really have much for rent, but if I can get a an affordable good place with good electricity and water I will survive and make way for myself.

I have tried making inquiries from few online friends and distant relations, their suggestions and ideas for choosing a good location in Lagos has been contradicting.

But then, I will make the move and strong I will break out.

My question would be, what's the cost for one bedroom selfcon and a location with good electricity and security.

Abeg make Una help me, I no fit sleep well for months now....I wan come Lagos

PS: Sorry for my long epistle.
There's a camp in Egbeda, very good hostels that will make u feel like u are in a room selfcon, cos u may be sharing a very big hostel with just 1 person. Steady electricity, water and the pay is just #300 daily, 2,100 per a week and 9k per a month. U can stay as long as u want only be of good behaviour and pay the camp fee as at wen due. Good luck.

You need close to 30,000 Euros for health insurance for a year. Can you afford that?
U don't actually need to pay that sum to get insurance for visa application, there are ways to do that and it wont cost u up to 20 or 30k naira. Is the same thing as booking for flight for visa application, u don't need to pay for the full amount for the flight ticket but will have to pay just a small token that may not be more than 10 or 15k naira.

I can still raise up like 700k....I am thinking about cape Verde but I was told that cape Verde has nothing

Please any advice?
That's no money for KIGALI RWANDA, only a 3month house rent of a room self contain and food for a month and the money is completely exhausted, that's without paying flight ticket from the said 700k oo. If u are going to pay flight ticket Wich will be more than 200k from the said money then u can't last for a month there before u start asking wat happened to the money. Barbing saloon fares very great in KIGALI but u need good money to be able to establish it there, as an average shop in Kigali can go for as much as 200k monthly. So u sure need good money to stand a chance of doing any thing reasonable there. Thank u.
