Nice one, Germany is a nice country but I would prefer Luxembourg/Denmark instead
How could you prefer Luxembourg and Denmark to Germany? Are you really sure of what you are saying here? And in what way or area(s) are you gonna prefer the both to Germany? Bro apart from Norway no other country in Europe is better than Germany, do your research very well on this my info.

Bro, but why didn't your own permanent residence take you 5 years to receive?
Rwandan resident permit could be gotten within two weeks, all you need do is open a business or an office in Kigali or any part of the country then go for resident permit at the immigration, they will come check your shop, or the office as the case may be and within two weeks your resident permit will be issued to you. It doesn't take much time. The op got his cos he was a student there, and what he got wasn't Rwandan passport or citizenship but resident permit. U don't need to marry or stay for five years to get resident permit, NO. Unless u are talking about citizenship, that could take up to 5yrs or more and u could also get that through marriage, but for resident permit which u can also use to secure visa of any country of the world, all u need is just to have something doing in Rwanda and two weeks u will have ur resident permit.

Lol you got it wrong, business visa is a resident? You have something that is keeping you in the country & study visa is residence , and you can use it to apply for any damn country you wish too…:

But some countries will like you to stay in that country for like 6months or so before you can leave…
Ok, God be with you bro

I never said tourism and yes I came back to Lagos used a week in Lagos and went back.
Me no settle here finally o, the numbers of mosquitoes in this country is more than the population of people. I de go better country soon sir. On God
The mosquitoes thing no bi small thing oo. Giant mosquitoes with needle mouths that peas through the cloths like knife through the butter. I read where u were asking or thinking of using ur business visa to try to secure UK visa from there? I dont think that is gonna be possible. The only thing u can use to secure visa there is resident permit. I made enquiry to that effect wen i was there and that was the answer i got. And to get resident permit there isnt much stressful. Just rent a shop or an office space, put a table and chair there, then go for ur resident permit. That was how most of our people i met there got theirs, unless they had tightened up the process.

Have u finally made up your mind bro? to me Rwanda is the best. I made a post ere on Nairaland in respect of tat. I have lived there before, I'm only making enquiries before moving back there because is been almost 5yrs since I left the country and so far the responses I'm getting in respect of that is very encouraging. I'm moving in few months time. For that country, particularly Kigali their federal capital territory is the happening thing in the whole of Africa now.

May I know how much he billed u for the whole thing, with that I may be able to help u assertain if it was scam or not. Some body said u can't get Canada work visa from Nigeria but that's not true. U can get but that depends on the kind of agent that's doing it for u and the amount u paid. So if u are willing to share d detail of d amount u bargained wit him I might be able to help u know if it was scam or not. Thank u.

I used to stay in Remera, but i came back to get somethings sorted (Get some good Remote Job and all that) then I should think of going back to Rwanda. The best place to stay is in Kigali City, Nice life, but presently they are in Lockdown.
As for Business, I would not want to advice you judging on the lockdown, its always best to go there and see things for yourself you can venture in.
Many thanks to u bro. Actually I lived there in 2016 before moving back to Nigeria and like u, I came back cos of something and now I want to go back but was hearing about all those other countries that I listed here that was y I asked to be sure. I lived at Kanombe right opposite KIGALI airport. I was attending Winners chapel at Remera. But I thought they had lifted the lock down ? Or have they entered the second lock down? When did u leave Kigali. I mean wen did u come back to Nigeria?

Mauritius
Seychelles
Namibia

These are the only nations making sense on your list. The rest are complete opposites. Mauritius is the best , seychelles is way costly.
Rwanda is another making sense nation. I've been there and I can comfortably tell you to move there, but have a lot of money when coming with you.
Thanks bro. Pls are u in Rwanda now? And what part of Rwanda are u suggesting I move to? Which line of business would u suggest I invest in over there? And indeed from all the countries u quoted Rwanda is the only one I'm interested in. It has more population than the rest. Beside both Mauritius, Seychelles and Namibia are less in population and are very expensive. Have read and heard a lot about those countries and can't go live there even for free. Things are also more expensive in Kigali RWANDA than Nigeria but I learnt is a very neat and secured country. So pls tell me more about the country. Thanks.

Zambia's economy is weak same is Gambia, but for Rwanda lots of construction project going on. Not to long they started a $5 Billion Airport Construction of which the Government of Qatar invested $3 Billion. Whether it is jobs, artisanship or business Rwanda stands out of the three. The ease of doing business is so wonderful
So many thanks to u bro. I have read and heard so many wonderful things about that country Rwanda, so I had to ask to be double sure particularly between Rwanda and Gambia before making up my mind on any of the two. But pls don't be offended for asking u more questions bro. I want to ask, apart from these 3 countries I mentioned here, is there any other country in any part of Africa u can recommend for migration that's better than RWANDA? Pls I really appreciate your contribution so far. Thanks, sir.

Please Nairalanders could you help me make a choice between these countries. GAMBIA, ZAMBIA and RWANDA. Which of these 3 countries do you know is best to relocate to and establish a business. I mean a country with better security, peaceful, friendly people and good business environment. Please I'm requesting from those who are well traveled within African countries and are well knowledgeable about each of these countries. I need your first hand info regarding these countries. Your suggestion will be well appreciated. Thanks.

Good Day Everyone
I planned on visiting Rwanda for 2 weeks by December, I feel making my plans now won’t be a bad idea. Please, what and what do I need to plan ahead. Thanks in Advance
Just have international passport, good money, then you are good to go. No much or special preparation needed. It's visa on arrival for 30days, for Nigerian passport holders, and you pay 30 dollar for the visa but now i learnt you dont pay for the visa or stamp any more but would pay 60 dollar for covid19 test at the airport.

Quite an intresting thread. However, i just wanna point out some fact. Firstly, despite Rwanda having one of the lowest GDP per capita in the world it's citizens enjoy better welfare compare to Nigeria. Besides it's far more politically and socially stable than Nigeria, plus the security and peace there is something Nigerians can only dream of. Secondly, it dosen't produce much which means few jobs, and make no mistake it's citizens are unforgivenly poor. Not recomendable for immigrants unless one has business in mind, and sure it's okay to add it in your bucket list of places to explore in Africa.
You are right, but i beg to defer on one thing, that her citizens are terribly poor. I would rather you say, some or majority of her citizens are poor. The reason is because there are some of her citizens that are rich, just as majority of Nigerians and citizens of other African countries are poor. So it is not only a Rwandan thing. The only advise i will give to any one going there is this, that Rwanda is only good for tourism or for business, it is no place for hustling but sure it is a very good place to set up a business and also raise a family. I prefer Kigali to any city in Nigeria 100%.

Rwanda is visa free for 30 days, unless you're talking about East Africa Tourist Visa which is $100 upon arrival..valid for 90 days (Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya).
I asked u a question. Are u in Rwanda currently, or have u bin there before? If so wen ? I talk based on wat I know not hearsay oga. Is a place I have lived so I know wat I'm saying. Is that a new policy started maybe a month or two ago? Cos as at March this yr Rwanda is still one month visa on arrival for Nigeria citizens, and it goes for $30. I also know of the east african tourist visa. So tell me where u got ur info from. Thank u
