born2fuck: you haven't seen Akin and Pawpaw, real rich man, one of them even married without even growing you
Truth is, only a layman would think they did not grow up. Growth entails much more than a physical increase in height. There's mental and psychological growth too.

If them pull their cloth, you go shock.
Politics › Re: Can Nigeria Become A Super Power Without Electricity? by Oahray: 9:55am On Feb 27, 2013
Orikinla: Regular supply of electricity does not translate into modernity as even many countries with regular power supply are still backward and underdeveloped in Africa.
I have been to a place with regular electric power supply in Nigeria, but the place is like Ajegunle in Lagos.
The community has an ultra modern library, but the people hardly go there.
They have enough jobs, but they are still intellectually retarded and depending more on their salaries instead of being creative and productive.
Even if you give morons regular electricity, that cannot transform them in super humans until they have the brains on how to use that regular power supply for development of modern technology and intellectual society.
Creativity in Arts and Sciences is the only way to develop into super power and not when the greatest ambition of majority of Nigerians is to earn a seven digit salary that does not make anyone a great achiever.
Super powers are made by the creativity and productivity of authors, innovators and inventors and not by salary earners.
Nigeria must invest in startups in the creative and manufacturing industries.

What makes a super power?
No regular power supply, but the leadership of the intelligentsia in the corridors of power and the promotion of meritocracy in democracy and not the leadership of political contractors and opportunists rigging elections to usurp power and plunder the nation like the present situation in Nigeria.

smh. People still do not know how to answer questions. You were not asked if constant electricity would automatically make Nigeria a super power. You were asked if Nigeria CAN become a super power WITHOUT constant electricity. They are two different things.

It's like someone asking you: "Could Usain Bolt have won his olympic medals without legs?" and for an answer, you go on and on about the rest of us that have legs but are not fast runners. Is that what you were asked? huh

sigmundfreud: already working on mine and will post before my date is due...maybe Sunday latest.
Read the whole thing the first time yesterday and copied it in word.
Larry had the easiest part i must say and his delivery was good.
***
Frank did well but he made Lucan too young (28, IMO) and rather short(5ft6)...i cant add to those! Err, is that ur height?!*pls ignore the question*
***
RedMoss was a clown!Guessed he rushed it and didnt read thru. Lines like 'Rubbish old man, thank God say death don catch am' in the narrative are 'offsides' i dont think any officer worth his mettle shd be ruffled and then suspended because his name and number was found near a dead body.
He left us with the Enigmatic Ayodele(300level!, whats that?!) which i think he created on a whim! He was actually stuck...and used the next guy that came into his hostel! I dont like the Name for My killer/psychopath.
To his credit, he established a link btw Ayodele and Lucan...but the Guy fall my hand joor!
***
Efemena...i really like you by the way *that aside for now*
Yours was a herculean task and your delivery was good...and lengthy!
Ur delivery was 14pages and the 3 before you combined were 13! You created interesting characters and the network of powerful women. I love the quotes, nice touch. It will be hard keeping that up. Conversations, excellent.
I have a feeling you would av finishd the story if u were writing it alone.
***
Mazi!Mazi!!...Ishi and Larry pointed out most things already e.g evidences, full-blown suspect. I like the way u removed Lucan from the scene. Good flow.
Further scrutiny reveal cracks...the case is NOT open and close. Tracy died in his room while he was away; Lucan has an IRON-CLAD alibi. He is a suspect, but they've got nothing on him*but we will continue to work with ur premise* He's a decorated officer and not stew*pid! Wont kill his GF in his own house or drop the sim card in his bin! Circumstantial evidence. He shd be out on bail with a half-baked lawyer...perhaps we will need to consult a lawyer. Zolpidem is a sedative and not a mild antidepressant...no consultation needed there.
***
Oahray my guy...u killed me!
I will ignore the HIM. Nice twist. Let Ishi or another person swim with that.
Your lawyer does not know the law...technical, consult before you venture!
...and then u allowed Lucan 'Prison Walk'...was actually expecting a break!
***
Good job so far, we will work with what we have.
I think i have found a way to make Larry/Lucan's dream come through or close *btw, why do u all keep mentioning the dream as if its impt?!*
CHAPTER 7
DEJA VU...
Stay tuned!
Hehehe... Eagle eye. Nice critique there. Would try to improve next time. There's a way you can correct some of those things, right?

Ride on sire. Nothing do you cool

@topic, it sucks mehn. The only thing I hate more than that kinda publicity is betrayal by someone I trust.

If the two happen together as in this case, I'd just cut the person off, and depending on how much it hurt, even after the person's apologies have been accepted (that's if she apologizes at all).

la furia: forget standard, is all about rivalry. most peeps want barca to lose, man u, chelsea and even few arsenal fans want barca to lose and of course u know y. despite man u wanting barca to lose, u barca fans will support them in the champions league against madrid. arsenal, chelsea will support madrid against man u. class or no class, fans want their bitter rivals to lose anyday anytime even if its a friendly match (madrid/barca friendly match? grin grin) and those who want barca to lose are more. barca have more enemies than madrid.
Barca has more enemies cos of their higher standard and consistency. That's what births the rivalry. They are so good that people derive some sort of pleasure from seeing them flop occasionally. Madrid has not reached that level yet.

When people say "you see, Barca is not invincible", it is only because they had thought Barca was invincible and thus were kinda relieved to see that Barca can be beaten. We are that good! cool

Remind me why he has to gain YOUR respect again lipsrsealed His Ballon d'Or awards speaks volumes already.

If he leaves Barca, people like you would call him an ingrate the same way you guys called Pep a coward for leaving. Same people that said Pep needs to prove himself in another club.

BTW Maradona won his first World cup medal at age 26.

Debroslink: Tell me, when does emotions run highest? Copa del ray or Champions league? And when did Copa del Ray become so much important as compared to La-liga and CL?
It's not the Copa del Rey that's important. It's the Barca factor that made it so. If it were Madrid on the losing side, most peeps wouldn't have thought it a big deal. If Madrid beats Man Utd too, it wouldn't be a big deal. I think that's what he meant.

Forget Laliga. That one is a closed case already. It would be easier for Atletico Madrid to overthrow Barca than for Real Madrid.

lol. E easy? Barca is the only team that would lose a match and everyone would celebrate and mock them. That's cos it's unusual.

What's more, conceding up to three goals in a match is an abomination in the Barca code of conduct. Barca's standard is that high.

HNosegbe: Omo e tire me o... I was one of the most vocal advocates for a new central defender last summer. I so desperately wanted us to buy Thiago Silva.

Maybe Sandro Rosell will learn his lesson how.
Rosell no wise, na just politician who wants to be president of Catalonia if they gain independence. I preferred Laporta.

It's good to use home-bred players from La-Masia, but we can't wait for them to mature first before getting a good replacement for Puyol. The guy don try.

hahaha... You know nothing about coaching then. So you think Mourinho spent 3yrs in Madrid learning how to block the 'midfield'? grin
If you think the coach of a team doesn't matter, you have no right watching football, go watch cricket tongue

There are many ways to open up a tight middle. When passes do not work, use the wings to draw opponents from the middle. Barca under Guardiola used to do that alot, that's one of the reasons they used to beat Mourinho's Madrid alot.

we are not used to losing nau. When last did any team score three goals against us in a match?

Anyway, my idea of a good game is not one that is won, but one that is played well. If they had played well and lost, I wouldn't have analysed anything.

Madrid was the better team tonight, and deservedly so. My Barca was way below par.

Oya collect another one! Where's a chop knuckle icon when you need one?? angry

Your submission was off DA SHIZZLE, baby!!! cheesy

Loved it, mehn. The storyline was tight, suspense filled, and even more intriguing is the addition of this 'Him' character. You have upped the ante. smiley

My observation: I sensed you were struggling towards the end, but I might be wrong. It's okay, you did good for a rookie grin

The jail break: It was too easy. Damn too easy. I have had the displeasure of visiting acquaintances in a minimum and maximum prison, and I have basic knowledge of prison protocols, so believe me when I say that the kind of gaol break described in your submission is totally impossible.

Aside this, your work is great. Keep writing darlee, it's in you smiley

Debroslink: So frustrating. As soon as I saw the lineup, I knew we were screwed. For at least the last month, every time Roura has put Fabregas in the midfield, and Iniesta up front - the team has struggled to find a passing rhythm and create scoring chances. He kept starting Alexis Sanchez, despite the fact he's been worthless all season. He kept Villa and Tello on the bench, despite the fact they're the only two attackers (besides Messi) who look interested in scoring. He keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. It's cost us the Copa Del Rey, and probably the Champions League as well. When this season is over, I hope they he's fired from the coaching staff. He has no tactical acumen, no ability to recognize mistakes (let alone correct them), and no imagination. He's got to go, and Sanchez can follow him out the door. If Tito is too sick to come back next year, hire or promote someone else.
lol. True. Sanchez and Roura should be kicked out. Tello and Villa used more often (Barca needs players that can cause problems at the wings). They are too dependent on Messi in a choked middle.

Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets in the midfield (Fabregas has no business playing where Iniesta ought to play. He used to be better when Guardiola used him in front of Xavi and Iniesta).
Get a quality replacement for Puyol!

Debroslink: TRUTH IS MESSI NEEDS A REST. RONALDO WAS RESTED LAST WEEKEND AND WE CAN ALL SEE THE OUTCOME. MESSI NEEDS A REST OR ELSE... BARCA IS IN DOOM!!!
Yeah, true. But I think Barca's problem is more psychological than fatigue. Their passes are not even what they used to be, partly cos Xavi's form seem to have dropped. I miss Guardiola jor. With him, you'd know you played a good game even if you lose eventually.

holajhdeee: Y all of una dey yan bout messi(messioyen)e no bi magician na live d guy alone
Messi too dey stay for middle these days. He is easy target there. See how easily they cut off supply to him in this match and vs milan? Barca doesn't use wings that much anymore so no distraction for Messi-markers.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Vs Real Madrid- Copa Del Rey (1 - 3) On 26th February 2013 by Oahray: 11:12pm On Feb 26, 2013
means: Teams are beginning to understand Barca pattern of play. Unfortunately this coach doen't have a plan B. I still love this team notwitstanding. U win some. U lose some. Its a game.
He doesn't even have a plan A. I think he just told them, "you remember what Tito used to tell you before every match? Oya play like that" grin

I used to see a fluid Barca team employing wing swap, formation alternating between 4-3-3, 4-3-1-2 and 3-4-3. I used to see a Barca with width. Now all they do is just play the same thing week in week out.

I used to see Messi play a free role, now he hardly moves from the middle and just gets crowded there.

Only Iniesta dey impress me jor angry
Messi would rather prefer being in the field than on the bench to increase his goal count to 100.

He didn't show up for AC Milan now he's not showing up against madrid.

Deserves to be rested for 3 straight matches in my opinion grin grin
Nah, it's not Messi's fault. Barca needs a real confidence boost and a tactician like guardiola.

Now you guys know how important a coach is.
