Guys, let's not rush things, yet. I would suggest we start off in Lagos since most of the Volunteers are based in Lagos. There's no need to set up 'offices' in different locations. There's always a starting point in every thing we do in life and this is no different. We can always expand later when things go well. For now I think Lagos is okay.

I'm interested in the Org but not sure where I can fit. Otherwise, I'm happy to chip in my 2p every now and then like everyone  

As for the Obuh's money still in 'our custody' I think we should keep their money and give it to them when the wife puts to bed. I don't support keeping their money and used for other cases. The money was donated towards relieving the plight of the Obuh's and so I think the money should go to them.

I read somewhere that money from Obuh's project was carried over to this Charitable organization . . . . I would suggest that the money be given to the Obuhs and draw a deadline to which people could donate to the Obuhs and not use the money from them on this.

Let donation from this be fresh.

Giving the remaining balance to the Obuhs at this time will be very unwise. I will rather suggest that you all trust us to hold the balance in your trust. Even though we will be considering other projects, we will still keep our eyes on the Obuhs and give them more as the need to arises.

Nairaland already classifies politics that involves and affects specific groups along tribal/ethnic/racial lines under a subsection here and it does make sense that issues that fall under this group be moved there. Sorry oga we no dey shop money here. Unlike many other charitable organisations where the bulk of the contributions go into maintaining the staff and the organisation, as you can see from our last project, we didn't pay anyone for his/her efforts.

We will focus more on helping the helpless in the society.

We will take each case up as soon as the case is brought to our attention and we verified the case to be genuine.
