Odunnu:Wise girl. Would you be my fourth wife? the lolo ![]() Fhemmmy:Abi o ![]() but then Yorubas say "ohun to ndun eni lo npo loro eni" |
Eziachi:We will all be alive and well to analyse the theory very soon my brother. I have heard it over and over: "We voted for a personalty and not the party", like the party will not have any influence on the personalty voted. |
Eko Ile:Get it Eko Ile, Lagosboy has answered your question over and over. They stayed back because they were not mobilized. Mobilization is key in every election. And this is why some are accusing ACN/Tinubu. |
OP. let me help you with the link. He spoke to BBC News. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-13126971 You'll also find the audio on the link. Gen Muhammadu Buhari, a northerner, told the BBC the violence was sad, unwarranted and criminal. |
Seun:On BBC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-13126971 You'll also find the audio on the link. His main rival, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, a northerner, told the BBC the violence was sad, unwarranted and criminal. |
Thank you dear. Its 8.56am here. ![]() |
Can I have something nice for breakfast pls? |
why are you angry? who/what upset you? |
I also think 2015 belongs to a new set of National political leaders. I would be surprised to still find the likes of Obj, Aninin, Buhari, IBB, Ciroma, Danjuma, Edwin Clerk, Ekweme and the likes in active politics by 2015. |
CPC will be dead within 4 years. Buhari is not a planner or nurturer. If he has a fruit tree outside of his house, it has probably withered away due to neglect
I think you are wrong. If anything CPC has just become the core North 'ACN', even though I would have wish it turns out to be a national party. Some of the governors that will be elected on Saturday under its platform with the likes of El Rufai will most likely drive it forward. Remeber in 2006 not many people know there is a performing Fashola in Lagos. 4 years is such a long time in politics to make such prediction. |
mbulela:Am surprised as well. I thought he will be among the younger generation that will take over and build CPC into a more formidable national party. |
This is a joke right?
How can it be a joke? Did Buhari call for violence in 2003 and 2007 after his loss? |
Princek12:My dear you are the one that need to check the facts. Electoral violence has never been limited to any region of the country since Independence. Pls read up. |
I tried as much as possible to refrain myself from posting on this thread, but the more I read a number of posts here the more I feel pained about a good number of us. It does not require a rocket scientist to know that there will be pockets of unrest/violence here and there after the election no matter the outcome. If Buhari has won am sure SS will be boiling as we speak and I wonder how many of us will hold GEJ responsible as we are holding Buhari responsible for this violence. I am not against GEJ calling on Buhari and all other people of influence in the North to reach out to the troublemakers, but beyond that, what other measures were taken before and after the election to forestall peace? This is a period we all need to refrain ourselves from making comments that will only overheat the situation. All these name callings is not the solution if anything it portrays many of us as equal to the almajeris we blame and condemn. |

And speaking about karma; who is a saint? |
This is barbaric, totally uncalled for and makes me sick. I just hope it's photoshoped ![]() |

Gbawe:I really desire the bold but I doubt there will be any serious merger among the Northern and Southern progressives anytime soon. Not the way ACN is presently structured and managed by Tinubu. I agree he is a necessary evil for the emancipation of the SW. But imagine a situation where your political ambition in ACN is only feasible if Tinubu and not majority of the party members approves it. Also I doubt other progressives from other zones will want to touch ACN as it is. Not until it is clear ACN does not stand for Asiwaju Congress of Nigeria. Mind you I am form Lagos SW. And may I remind you that the dream of one progressive party did not start in December 2010. What happened to all the merger talks/meetings? Why was it not possible for Falae, Buhari, Bafarawa, Utomi and Tunubu to agree to work together? How are we sure the same reasons will not stop any future merger talk? IMO, the personal interests of some of the key progressives members still override our collective national interest. I wish am wrong but I see the status quo remaining for a long while. I wish you and lagosboy well in your political career and I hope with time we will get to know each other better. ![]() |
I wish that Ribadu bounces back. I really wish. |
OMG! So sad! ![]() |
Buhari is not fit to rule me. No more Northerners shall rule the people of the South.
Statements like the bold is the reason why we are having this problem. |
I wish to congratulate every member of this group and appreciate your time, energy, efforts, money and other contributions we all made towards the actualization of BB2011 dream. For the 1st time in my life I found a reason to campaigne and give my personal resources towards a campaign and I have no regret whatsoever. The presidential election has come and gone, we have had our say and majority have had their way and I congratulate Jonathan and his supporters. It was Aldous Huxley that said "Each country gets the leader it deserves” I believe Nigeria deserve Goodluck Jonathan. Whether for the right or for the wrong reasons, time will tell. Let me end with a quote from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, with the words of Cassius to Brutus: "Men at some time are masters of their fates: The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves, that we are underlings" |
agabaI23:And I think yours is also due for a change. |
Sack your family my dear and shop for a new one ![]() Good luck! |

They have no right to complain about rigging. If anything, both CPC and PDP rigged. It is just that CPC got out rigged.
Give me one state in the North where Buhari got 90% of the total votes. |
I should bookmark this thread. It will be useful when taking stock. |
