ubiaa5:If only you know that the CIA and FBI boss had dinner in my place last night, u wont threaten me with a cop. Are you jealous your daughter is hitting a big man? ![]() Sorry I forgot, was suppose to make you an offer you cant refuse. How about giving you $100,000 monthly to look after her for the next 10years with 10% annual increment? ![]() Deal or No Deal? (Think carefully b4 you answer) ![]() Meanwhile while you think about the offer, please give her an holy xmas kiss for me ![]() - Your Capable prospective inlaw OAM4J. ![]() |
ubiaa5:How can I? when she is the reason why I am considering getting married, she is my vision 2020 (You know we men don't get old)I beg bring her to type merry Christmas to her one and only future husband jor. ![]() |
gospelseed:I will take it that, you accept marriage, because of your religion and traditional believes. That is good enough but some peep dont give a damm about religion and traditional believes you know. I agree with your good choice concept, but so many people never know/believe they were making wrong choices until they got married, then it become difficult/late to reconsider thier choices. Again if they only remain lovers and later realise they are not meant for each other, they simply move on thier separate ways without any divorce complications |
mekusxxx:What is the essence of this thread? What is it with you and the man? Everybody knows that those women were pregnant before the program. The Good thing was that those children were born at the camp while the program was on. I don't like joining religious argument, but I think after all said and done about the man with many threads on this forum, this is totally uncalled for. There is nothing new you people want to say that has been unsaid before. Tell me something new abeg. |
gospelseed:The debate has been that, all these needs can be met by 2 lovers without getting married. Why must we say 'I do' when we can achieve all these without getting married and possibly prevent future pains. |
Seun:Its not taking it too far. If the polls are not important, stop them. But for all its worth, do it well. What is unfair is unfair. Let's call a spade a spade and not any other name. My question are: did becomerich win the poll? (yes), did he rig the poll ? (tell us and how?) If his disqualification is because you don't like his views and the way he goes about posting maps, that has nothing to do with this poll. Ban him if he abuses or violates NL rules but don't use your power to upturn what the majority want. If you don't need the poll, you could have gone ahead and announce your candidate. And if he is that much a problem to you, you should have disqualified him before the poll. For me. I will not participate in any poll on NL again until this unfairness is corrected. |
Michelin what you should realize is that bashing is not totally bad in itself. Apart from the fun of it, which is one of the things we enjoy in this forum, it is also a way of correcting ourselves. For instance, when guys bash fat, lazy, dirty, loose, money loving, hypocritical girls, its a way of asking them to change. There has been one or two bashing from ladies here too that has made me adjust. How shall we know what we want or don't want from each other if we don't constantly bash each other? So I will say, let the bashing party continues. ![]() |
SA Lady:It should not be a desperate situation. I think it is an African thing. Like Fhemmy said, couples can adopt. |
Make the guy sort out things fast and return to playing golf Jare. Na today?. If he is a Nigerian now, his affairs will not make international headlines. If he must have extra marital affairs again, he should actually consider Naija girls, they dont kiss and tell. abi? ![]() Another reason why people should think twice b4 saying 'I do' I like the guy sha. |
I don't think it's gonna make any difference. There are lots of fast food joints like KFC already in Naija, like Chicken republic, Tastee fried chicken etc. Its just the brand they are bringing. |
Invite her out a lot more and do things together your communication will improve. |
Merry Christmas and happy new year in advance Fhemmy and to everyone. @ ubiaa5, give a my special, warmest greetings to your lovely daughter. (Dont forget my offer for her still stands ) |

Tired ke!!! When I have not even started. Wait for me, I dey come. I will be starting with the type of Michellin89-Naija girls, by the time I start all of you going on retirement now will resume. Tire ko, exausted ni ![]() |
Seun:Saw it coming. Guess the above is the Supreme Commander decision. Wondered why he was not disqualified before the poll. ![]() |
Eziachi:The author is only speculating and has no fact to back his claim. Below is the 1st response to his write up. m. sani osama says: December 11, 2009 at 12:32 pm |
thanks for voting for me.
You are welcome. Congrats. |
Emirates!!! One of the best airlines I've used in recent times. I flew it to UK about 3 months ago (Lagos-Dubai-London), because I wanted to do some shopping in Dubai. EXCELLENT service and entertainments. |
Eziachi:Please argue with facts and figures. Washington DC is currently a serious concern to US. As at off March this year 3% of residents of Washington DC are infected. It is believed that right now 1 in every 20 (5%) adult is infected with HIV virus. (Mind you the world average is 1%) http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/03/14/AR2009031402176.html In Nigeria, an estimated 3.1 percent of adults between ages 15-49 are living with HIV and AIDS. (Nigeria is one of the highest % in West Africa) http://www.avert.org/aids-nigeria.htm |
I weep for Nigeria. this is TOTALLY BAD. It is very unfair. This is the future of Nigeria in jeopardy. God have mercy! |
if its about long bridges. . then nigeria has the longest bridge in africa the third mainland. .so whats the big deal?
The big deal is that this is a bridge across the sea not across a lagoon/river like 3rd mainland bridge.@OP Countries are building bridges across the sea, while Nigeria can not construct & maintain roads on land. What a shame? |
Eziachi:The answer I gave was that it is unfair that no man will accept that, but arguably it is still the man's world. (Does that not answers your question enough) Eziachi:Ezeachi, you mean polygamy is without consents? The 1st wife has a choice of leaving. Nobody forced anybody to accept polygamy, it is a mater of choice. All the parties involve in polygamy are adults Please. |
tensor777:Thank you. Your 2 points make lots of sense. I can now agree with your argument. ![]() Eziachi:I did answer your question Eziachi, that men are unfair but arguably/largely we still live in mens world. However I think the crusade of this thread is towards curbing the spread of HIV and not about the morals of polygamy. I doubt if you can win the morality arguiment of polygamy cos at the end it will end up being a matter of choice of individuals concerned, same as in homosexuality. But i will advice you stick to the crusade of curbing HIV as tensor777 is doing. All the same. Its a good debate. ![]() |
tensor777:The point am making is that being polygamous is not what defined such man in bold. Whether the man is polygamous or not, he will still exhibit such behavior, only that the victims this time around will be his multiple mistresses who also are most likely to have other lovers (so you can imagine the spread). banning polygamy will not change such man, it will only change the way he goes about it. Except you believe such behavior is only justifies in monogamy. |
tensor777:The problem is the bold above. I believe we can deal with it without wasting time on campaigning for ban on polygamy. I just don't seen the ban changing the bold above, might even worsen it. Let's preach all that AIDS is real, That everyone should be faithful with his/her partner, if unable, use protection, then the problem is fully solved. |
Beaf:Abi o, make he help us map out where plenty tithe and offering dey, we go finance some of his political campaign ![]() |
Eziachi:I support all the HIV/AIDS campaingn initiatives, because it is a dreadful deasease and I dont wish anyone having it. But i will not support it on false claims or false alarm. I maintain that the root cause of spread of aids is not poligamy. Let me put it in another word, it is UNFAITHFULNESS. If a man is faithful with his wife/wives aids will not be spread. What we should preach is for a man to be faithful to his wife/wives and women to their husbands, if they cant, they should should use protection. A man that will will have multiple sex partners will do so whether he is monogamous or polygamous same with the women. So what we should advocate is FAITHFULNESS and those who can not remain faithful should use PROTECTION. Q.E.D. Don't get me wrong, I am not for polygamy, it is a matter of choice for those involved. If you bring a reason like population control for being against polygamy, I will support. |
Not surprised! There was enough handwriting on the wall to let us know it will come to this. Now Ibori can start his 2011 VP campaign except that Yardua is no longer sure for 2011. Nigeria we hail thee. |
MrCrackles:I hope you didn't get (buy) them from Toronto University? U know Becomerich is based in Canada o ![]() |
mikeansy:Me too. Dont know exactly why ![]() I see becomerich more as a political crusader. But when it comes to intelligent analysis on political issues, I give it to Jakumo any day. For Becomerich to have won this poll only point to 1 thing, Nigerians/Nairalanders prefers or are looking for political crusader. |
