Thanks,Everyone.I will not be silly enough to pay anybody a dime. The question is,is it really easy to get a job in barbados
That is why you need an insider. Job is not easy anywhere but also not impossible. It also depends on what type of job you are thinking. I will advice you go online and do a lot more research on the place.

Guy thanks but i heard that to get to Barbados.one will require a British transit visa which is hell as you willl know from naija. What is the living standard of foreigners Nigerians especially and what is the prospect for me and what other legal route can one use to get there.A lot of questions but I know you will be able to provide answers
I am not very sure about this. The last time I went to the Caribbean I went from UK. But their are lots of Nigerians in Barbados who told me they got there going tru countries that require no transit visas.

There is no direct flight from naija to Barbados or Cuba. I cant remember very well now, but I think I was told they traveled from Naija to Brazil from there to Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago) and then to Barbados.

please very important, don't embark on any of this journey without a trustworthy contact in the place you are going.

All the best.

Absolutely right Femi.

Personally as a product of boarding house myself, I have vowed never to let my kids school away from where I am. I saw & did things in boarding house that would have made my parents faint had they found out. I’m surprised at myself that I never became an Olympic high jumper at the speed and height I could jump the school walls LOL.

No disrespect to Inner Londoners, but some of the schools can be like war zones so I can see where the poster is coming from but as parents we need to get our priorities right.

If it means moving out of London to a better area, then do it. If it means ditching the Mercedes and working shorter hours so that someone is there to meet the kids after school then do it.

There is always time for everything and if you have decided to have kids, then your life is on hold until he/she becomes and adult and it is your responsibility as a parent to ensure that the kid is the best kid in the block.
The Truth.

Your nuisance value is becoming palpable and i all but laugh at your childish tantrums.
You definitely have no regards for your parents. People like you must have suffered serious emotional abuse of some sought sexual if you ask me as a child.
Hence constant reference to sexual activity with parents.

What I meant by security again applies to an ideal world cheesy

My being married means I don’t have to go through the dating scene again, not knowing for certain if a toaster/boyfriend loves me for who I am or if he has an ulterior motive.

What I also mean by security is financial security; there are 2 incomes coming in living in the one house so more money to spare.

Another aspect to security is the fact that you have someone else to run things by before you make a crucial decision.

During down times, it is not just you against the world but Team husband & wife against the world.

For the ladies only, you also have someone you can send downstairs to investigate the noise you imagined you heard during the night embarassed
lol grin grin grin

Now I understand what you meant. especially the bold. grin

In an ideal world, I think we get married because you love someone enough to want to spend the rest of your life with him/her. We also get married because you want to make your partner happy. We get married for companionship and for security.

We also get married because it’s what the bible says and our parents also expect us to do so; getting married is a natural progression of ones journey in life. We also get married to have kids and to give them a stable family background.

No doubt marriage has its ups and downs but all in all, if one experiences a good marriage, it is sure one of the of the greatest gifts that God has given us.
Beautiful, about the best I have read.

Unfortunately we are not living in an ideal world.

But can you pls explain what you mean by 'for security'

About time. This and the pulling out of others, will help us to redefine and rediscover ourselves.
Even when we find it difficult to maintain refineries and with a sick administration in place.?

Definitely not now, not with this dump and clueless administration in place. It might be a welcome idea in the future.
