Sine1:Nobody says Yar adua is the cause of someone yelling at the bank, but we are saying he is failing to lead us as a president should. For God’s sake how can my president prioritize attending opening of a new university in Saudi to UN General meeting and Universities here in Nigeria are closed. He has been president for more than two years; tell me how has he improved the life of an ordinary Nigerian since he became president? That’s why we say he should resign if he has nothing to offer us as our leader. Mind you he offered himself to lead. |
Did I hear somebody say Yar Adua 2011? ![]() |
@Sine1 I really don’t get u Sine1. It is not an act of cowardice to complain about your leader. Every leader has to be criticized in other for them to improve. For crying aloud sake why should we as a follower keep quiet when we see our leaders going the wrong direction? If we keep quite, then we are failing as followers. Let’s call a spade a spade. This Yar Adua is damm too inactive and I don’t believe we deserve that as a nation. We Nigerians are not blind, neither do we just shout/criticize for no reason, when we see a good leader we appreciate. Majority of Nigerians/Lagosians applaud Fasola because we believe he is doing well. In fact people like Fasola make me feel that there might just be hope for Nigeria. If someone can govern a complex state like Lagos and have majority give him a pass mark, I believe one day a Fasola will come from any part of Nigeria and give us a good national leadership. And there are many Fasolas in Nigeria, its just that we are so unfortunate not to have many of them in power. |
Hopefu! Its diffcult to hope and dream now, But God dey sa. E go beta. |

Na wao. Naija just want to leave this country at all cost to anywhere. No wonder people like Jimmy/Jimtex remains in scamming biz. EGYPT!!! For God's sake what are you going to do there? |
I beg get me one too. am sure you wont need my passport and i wont need to appear at the embassy as usual, so just post it to me. Ole, alapa ma sise. |
Hey Chris, its not that bad. If your mum is bringing the taxi man then its ok, she most likely know who to trust. Beside, Naija is not that terrible. Just be free, relax and enjoy your stay. |
How much will you collect for each country information? yeye. are you their agent? I beg go and find another work. People in these forum are clever, wiser and more informed. If you have any info that you think others dont have, just share it. |
Hey! Nairalanders, I have the solution. Let all Naijas close down their work, biznesses, and family, make we all relocate go Ghana, we no need visa to enter ghana, abi kini mo wi. . I cant believe this, God saves us, kill all them enemies of naija by fire and thunder, let them beging to die like Abach, Somebody say a loud Amen. |
I don’t know Mohammed Abacha more than the fact that he is the son of late Sanni Abacha. As a Nigerian he has every right to contest for any elective post, but then as Bidemi wrote, there is a moral issue here. How can we trust him? How can we be so sure he will not follow the footsteps of his father? After all he has his father’s blood flowing in his veins. Beside does he agree with majority of Nigerians that his father misruled us? I think what he needs to do as far as I am concern are: 1. for him to acknowledge that his father misruled us and apologize to Nigerians on behalf of his family. 2. Secondly I think it is too early for him to jump into politics, the wound his father inflicted on us is still very fresh. He should wait a little longer or leave that path for his children 3. Thirdly I think he should be righting the wrong of his father by doing things that are pro-the masses of Nigeria May be, just may be, then Nigeria can begging to see him as Mohammed Abacha and not as the son of Sanni Abacha. True, the world may be in the hands of the wicked and every one (not just the leaders of the western world) has one ugly past or the other, but the world will be a better place if we do not sustain the evil legacy of our fathers but chose rather a better course for ourselves, just as the like of Schwarzeneggers, Bush and Clintons did. But then ultimately it is the people of Kano that will decide (that is if their election will truly count). Again as much as I hate to admit it, in Nigeria anything is possible (even if it is morally or legally wrong). |
I just moved to Montego Bay, Jamaica last week on official assignment, and I would be staying here for a while. This place is quite a lovely place. Thanks to Nollywood, Nigeria home videos are very popular here. Please I want to know and meet any nairalander here in Jamaica especially those in Montego Bay. Am feeling lonely already as I have not been interacting with any of my countrymen. (This is the 1st time I will stay a week in a country without meeting a Nigerian) But am sure you guys are here, so show up. |
let me also just say that not all the hotels in nigeria are that costly. I was still in nigeria last week. The hotel they got for me somewhere in Okota,Lagos was only about N3,000 a night (thats about $20) believe me it was very ok. but if you want a 5 star hotel, then be ready to pay more. I also believe your embassy can be of help. You can also check online for some holiday packages in nigeria. just goggle holiday in nigeria. i guess u will find something. but still verify all claim.s all the best. |
he said the pastor travelled without I.V, not that he travelled without visa. I guess he meant to say without letter of invitation from abroad. |
