Alex Hernandez later admitted he had fraudulently signed the birth certificate as the boy's father so that they could take the child.

Garcia's relatives, who have named the boy Leo, claim Garcia sold the child to Alex and Leslie Hernandez. 

The Cochise County Attorney has yet to find evidence that any money changed hands between the couple and Garcia, who also claims there was no payment.

Both Alex and Leslie Hernandez pleaded guilty to conspiring to commit forgery and were each sentenced to four years of supervised probation. 

Marina has pleaded guilty to a felony count of an attempted fraudulent scheme and will be sentenced next month. Prosecutors have recommended that she be sentenced to prison.

'The only thing on [Marina's] mind was getting rid of this child,' said Cochise County Attorney Brian McIntyre. 

'This "problem" in her life. What scares me is that if it hadn't been the Hernandez', if the couple hadn't been willing to step forward, then what person off the Internet might have been next?'   

As for little Leo, he has been handed over to the Arizona's Department of Child Safety and is currently in foster care.  While the charges have been settled, the fight for Leo has only just begun.

A US soldier stationed in South Korea was devastated when his wife revealed that their child had died at birth. 

But just a month later Sgt Steven Garcia, 24, found out the truth. The baby boy was alive and had been allegedly sold to another couple by his wife. And Garcia wasn't the biological father.

It has been a roller coaster of revelations that have left Garcia fighting for custody of the baby boy. His estranged wife, Marina Garcia, pleaded guilty to a felony.

The story begins in January, when Garcia - who is a patrol supervisor in Seoul - was told that Marina, 31, had given birth to a baby girl who died during childbirth.

'When my sister called me about that, it was pretty emotional,' Garcia told KVOA. 'We cried quite a bit together over the phone. It was devastating.' 

But the baby, who was born in Arizona on February 2, was alive - and a boy. Marina had given her son to longtime friends Leslie and Alex Hernandez.

The truth was discovered by an Arizona highway patrolman, who pulled the couple over for speeding while they were driving back to their home in Texas with the child.

He noticed the couple seemed nervous and began to question them, the trooper later told investigators.

That's when he learned they were not the biological parents of the baby boy, who was just three days old.

It's a common belief that China-made products such as electronics and cars don't have the build quality when compared to those from Europe or the U.S.

But according to Robin Paige,the British-born senior vice-president of design at Volvo Cars, that notion is totally false. He told Go Auto

"Everyone was worried about quality, but as soon as they started , the quality was even higher on score than in Europe,"

He said the major difference was attributed to the greater automation or robots in manufacturing at European factories.

Instead ,the Chinese plants use more human labor which allows them to achieve tighter tolerances and the ability to make changes to the production process more quickly.

He also said
“It’s not a massive difference but if you do scores-to-scores and averages, China’s pretty damn good, so we’re not so worried about that now".

Volvo now has more of its china built cars being exported to the United States and Europe markets ever since it was purchased by Geely in 2009.

Volvo is not the only car manufacturer moving to China. Ford Focus in the U.S and BMW's upcoming iX3 will made in China too.

I think the Volvo boss was right in terms of automation because ,Elon Musk (Tesla boss) was forced to bring in humans after robots slowed down the production of Tesla Model 3.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on tuesday opened Europe's longest and most controversial bridge, a 12-mile link between the Russian  mainland and the annexed  Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea.

He personaly drove a Kamaz trip-truck in a convoy of construction vehicles which includes cranes and other heavy-duty vehicles across the crimean bridge.

Over 10,000 workers and engineers constructed the Crimean Bridge and was completed six months ahead of schedule.

The $3.7 billion four lane bridge was designed to withstand ice floes in winter . It will be able to carry 40,000 cars and 47 trains a day.
It will also allow ships to pass through it.

The cost of the bridge is N1.3 trillion($3.7 billion) in naira. Back in 2016,Dangote lost the same amount to drop 25 places on billionaire list while FG approved $3.7 billion in 2013 to boost power transmission.

The Crimea bridge overtakes Lisbon's Vasco da Gama Bridge as the longest in Europe.

Remarkable footage filmed in Mesa, Arizona, showed pet Remus jumping into the family pool and using his head to push Smokey out of the water.

Smokey had fallen into the swimming pool by accident when the two were playing in the back yard.   

The dog is seen treading water, struggling to get out while Remus paces along the side.

Distressed Remus then jumps into the pool and swims behind his friend, using his head to push Smokey out of the water.

The incredible video was captured by Laurie Becerra and her husband Jay on security cameras.

She said: 'So Remus and Smokey got a little rambunctious. Smokey can swim just not well,'

This is the moment a brave mum who is actually an off-duty policewoman shot an armed robber who drew his weapon on parents and children outside a school in Brazil on Saturday

She can be seen reaching into her handbag to grab her service weapon and firing three shots into his stomach before kicking his .38 revolver away and turning him over.

Sao Paolo governor Marcio Franca visited military police officer Katia, 42, at her station yesterday to thank her for her bravery in saving the lives of other parents at her daughter’s school.

He said in a tweet after meeting the mum-of-two, whose daughter attends at the school, at her work HQ: “Her courage and precision yesterday saved mums and daughter at a school entrance.

“Katia acted for two important reasons; in defence of society and in defence of her daughters, her family. I want to thank her for her bravery.”

A Syrian artist has re-imagined US President Donald Trump and 10 other world leaders as refugees in a series of paintings.

Abdalla Al Omari, who has refugee status in Belgium, says his own experience with displacement prompted him to create The Vulnerability Series.

"Being a refugee is like having a new lump in your body that you had nothing to do with, and it will stay until the last day, so you better deal with it," Al Omari told CNN.

In the series, President Trump is portrayed as a refugee holding a young child; his belongings and a sleeping mat on his back, a photo of his family clutched in his right hand.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar Al Assad also feature. Putin, whose military has conducted airstrikes on Syria's rebel held areas, is depicted as a homeless person, while Assad appears partially submerged in water with only a paper boat to come to his aid.

The Devil Devel Motors has started testing the prototypes of its six wheeled super SUV.

To demonstrate how fast it is , it was pitted against a Mercedes-AMG GT on a drag strip where it outran the sports car.

The Devel Sixty is essentially a tank with 6 massive 40-inch tyres that would make the Mercedes-AMG G63 6x6 and Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 look ordinary.

The 700 hp Devel sixty prototype is powered by a 6.7-liter turbocharged V-8 diesel paired with a custom six-wheel-drive system. It has a top speed 93 mph and will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds.

The sports car is a 515 hp Mercedes-AMG GT , powered by a biturbo 4.0-liter V8 . It will go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.

Mind you, the Devel Sixty concept in this video is a $450,000 base model. Range-topping version up to 1,500 hp will be available .

Mohamed Salah is now all alone with the English Premier League goal record, netting his 32nd in a season in the first half of the match between Liverpool and Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

The Liverpool forward has set a new record for Premier League goals in a 38-game season, beating the 31 goal record held jointly by Luis Suarez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Alan Shearer.

Dr. Dre is a West Coast musician and businessman known the world over for his platinum-selling albums, for discovering Eminem, and for Beats, the headphones hanging around the necks of athletes and celebs.

He, however, is not a real doctor.

Dr. Drai, on the other hand, is an actual doctor -- a Pennsylvania ob/gyn who appears on TV and has authored books on sexual health with titles like "20 Things You May Not Know About the Penis."

The two doctors have been locked in a multi-year dispute -- an East Coast/West Coast feud of sorts -- over their names.

Drai (real name Draion M. Burch) wants to trademark the name Dr. Drai for his medical and motivational speaking services, and for his books, videos, podcasts etc etc.

Dre (real name Andre Young) has tried to block the application on the grounds that it could cause confusion between the two brands and falsely suggest a connection between them.

Last week, the trial and appeal board of the US Patent and Trademark Officedismissed Dr. Dre's challenge.

Dre didn't issue a comment after the ruling. But buried in the 49-page document is a quote from Drai which summed up how he felt about the matter:

"I was just appalled how someone would think that I wanted to be them and I actually went to medical school."
