In the end, you will agree you know nothing and was just gambling and start genuine learning on how to trade right.
You will gradually improve and make money...

Too many of us have been going on about locodemy taking a hit since FCMB declared 10kobo dividend as though it is a thing of pleasure to see a brother stumble.
Agreed he didn't go about FCMB in the best way he should have.
Yes, some newbies may have also joined the train and may hv bn affected negatively too (which is rather unfortunate).
But let's understand that there's no real winner in all of these events in the end.
Loco, kindly reconsider your approach and don't be too loud about your business. Your contributions must have helped some. And always include a caveat to avoid inexperienced newbies blaming you for their trading decisions influenced by you.
Remember, every loss is only on paper until further notice.
Let's rather make this platform more edifying and be our brother's keepers.
All these mockery we make of each other is not dignifying.
No need for personal attacks and unhealthy rivalry.

I dont really understand the noise a about FCMB, most of us are not making loss .

The only disappointment is the delay in releasing the result.

PART2 is not working as expected.My own order was sell @ 1.20 and now i am seeing sell from others @ 1.17 yet no response.i cant try selling my stock below 1.20.Let it remain in my portfolio until the coast is cleared.Na begin gather money for second missionary journey.Entry @ 1.10 is where the market is waiting.it will good to buy at that resistance because Q1 result will bring our price back to 1.30-1.50.I am not happy but cant kill myself for it.Man proposes andGod disposes.

It's not that bad, even if FCMB is selling @ 1.10k am not losing .

If take profit now good, if not i will still wait.

But one thing is sure, i most chop that dividend.

If FCMB had released this 10k dividend earlier, most investors won't have been disappointed .

The equity price of GUARANTY TRUST BANK PLC was adjusted today 29th of March 2017 for a dividend of N1.75 as declared by the board of directors. The last close price was N26.95, hence the ex-div price N25.20

Yes,we have seen the long awaited fcmb result.The result is good,up to 201% increase in PAT when compared to the previous result.Through out the night,I have been comparing the negative statements of people here to that of the result yet i couldnt find what is wrong with the result.

We all are aware that many banks are coming to the market this year to raise fund for capitalization and liquidity issues of which we have seen a whole zenith bank of all people looking for money.what will be my gain if fcmb pays me 20kobo dividend,maybe after one or two months they alert me again they want to raise fund.it doesnt make sense.I think we should listen to conference call/presntations by the mgt before we vomit the unworthy.
Now,looking at my entry price to fcmb,i was able to get up to 15m units at #1.00 and 6m units above #1.00.if i decide to sell off the 15m units today @#1.20,i will get 3m naira profit.I will only sell(wont disclose when) since the closure date is not out.For those of you pitying me for fcmb,pls pity yourselves 'cos i am now going to make money through this result.I will brief you again after i am done.Intelligence is required at this time to make money.Watch out and see..........

Most of us in FCMB as bought it far lower than lower than the current price, hence no fear of falling fast.

All we need know is the closing date for dividend payment.

were do you see capital gain ? befor you sell and get dividend, don't you know that the stock will go down below #1 ? now what's the payment date? . Stock you bought at #1 . if i am you i will sell the next day and take 25kobo than 10kobo and they will take back the 10kobo true your capital money befor payment .

Payment date is the most important information we need here.

Any payment more than April 17, i will take profit now and re-enter for dividend.

Thank God if you are able to get half of your fund because FCMB fair value is 50kobo after reconstruction.
