emmanuelewumi: It means the stock is worth N4.00 or more, some big guys or institutional investors want to increase their holdings in company, the easiest way to achieve this is through a right issue. Tony used similar strategy to buy over 1 billion units of UBA shares and another 500 million units of United Capital shares Well from my little observation, the some right issues done on the floor in last six mouth, always end up lower . It seem to me the companies might be over-valuing the company's shares.Intendy: You are right to some extent, but NO law stipulates that right issue price should be lower than that of the secondary market. The board got approval from the same shareholders of the company. LOL Many that even fixed right issue prices below what it's trading for on the floor still got battered and dipped below right prices. It's left for investors to decide which way he wants to go. As for me and my house na Jump over mode for this kain stock that is if I even have it. Though one can reevaluate to know if he should pick up some of his right or all or not to pick after reevaluating his/her portfolio and valuing the company over again. Those shareholders might just be rubber stamps OakPearl: You are correct to think rights issue should be lower as it has always been. But it's not also wrong for rights issue to be more expensive than the market price. It's simply a thing of perspectives. The market thinks it should cost N1.76 at the moment, but the owners or major stakeholders values it at N3.00 per share perhaps with a futuristic timeline, that may be based on information exclusively at their disposal. If they are right in their valuation, it will certainly reflect in their performance/results, and the market will definitely revalue it. But should the market be right, then that becomes their cup of tea. So in conclusion the market is the King here.

fxuser:

Access - SP above 200dma but below 50dma - SP always respected the 200dma since breaking thru post dividend last year 2016 - it bounced off 200dma after this recent post div mark down but its still going to retest N6.00 - RSI below 50 but above 40 ( umm.. manageable ) - lets watch the retest and see if it finds support (this is where Q1 helps)
For long players - the weekly shows a pull back from the upward trend - Since the bearish move in 2013 , trend changed last year May and been on HH and about to make a HL - that N7 was a major resistance in 2015 , SP went on to drop below N4.00 - N6.00 shud hold ! but we wait Thanks alot |

oyb: By extension, Ntel are guilty of fraudulent misrepresentation.why are they spamming customers in boxes with stories of downloading 45gb files if it is their policy to throttle downloads to unusable pre 3g speeds after 3gb?
If I wanted to download COD today, it would probably take 3 to 4 days because of their throttling. NTEL wasn't straight forward from the beginning. Example, Smile unlimited data ends at 60gb after which they throttle the speed. But NTEL won't tell you the amount of data usage before their speed throttling start |
Phones › Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by OBAGADAFFI: 5:24pm On Apr 11, 2017 |
toluxa1: I TOTALLY disagree. There is no such Terms and Conditions from NTEL. The T&C page is right there on their website for everyone to read, there is no mention of such. During the testing period they put it in, for about a week and immediately people complained and they took it out. I remember contacting them that time to confirm and they told me categorically that clause has been removed and there is no cap or throttling whatsoever.
Even before downloading 10mb in a day, I get ridiculously slow speeds so clearly it is not a matter of daily cap, if it is, they would have said so, in response to the countless complaints on twitter. I have been downloading Prison Break S05E01 for 2 days now. Imagine. The whole point of using NTEL is, No Cap, No Throttling, not thing else, customers know it and the company knows it Read Unlimited Plans: If you subscribe to an ntel price plan, service or feature that is described as unlimited, you should be aware that such unlimited plans remain subject to ntel’s Fair Use Policy. If your usage of our unlimited plans is greater than a predefined amount during any 24-hour period (measured from midnight each day), then ntel may at its sole discretion reduce the priority of that user’s mobile broadband data service relative to other users, until midnight of that day. jollymizzle: there's a difference between owning land and claiming to own it. A friend's family sold their lands at epe and got the full value. So most likely those who were forcefully evicted didn't really have proof of ownership. And you and I know these people's "village" isn't the slum they presently live. Most indigenous land are undocumented, until recently. |

BlowBack: The funniest thing is that majority of the callous human beings supporting this inhumanity are not even landlords in Lagos nor do they even live anywhere near Lekki
Rather they live in rundown parts of Lagos like Abule Egba, okoko and other far flung suburban slums
Mapet tell me where you live in Lagos Don't mind them, they think Lagos don't have villagers. How come me no government has tried to demolish Lagos Island, Adeniji, Idumota and co. |

Meanwhile can you furnish me with details that traces the ancestry of the Otodo-Gbame to any family in Lagos? 2. Ijora demolition stopped by Ambode, yes, but I thought your argument is that Lagos State government cannot demolish residential areas? Don't ask me any documents here. Every document about the place is in the same Court your government disobeyed. Why was Ijora stopped If they can demolish residential areas with out alternative. jollymizzle: yes but you and I know there are no laws in the slums. No one should be made to or willingly choose to live in a slum. These people must have villages somewhere let them return. What do you think will happen to kids who grow up in that hellhole LMAO So you don't know that Lagos is village to some people. From Maroko to Epe was inhabited by locals for years until the government and money bags started buying up Lands and forcefully evicting landowners. Go read about Dangote vs indigenous people fight at Ibeju lekki, to understand what is going on
