Something isn't right here, the same people fighting for chevrons workers are issuing threats to chevron.
We have handed a 72-hour ultimatum to Chevron to ensure the release of those arrested oil workers and if they fail to do this, we will withdraw all our services from all the oil companies including, Shell, Chevron, NPDC and Neconde.

EzePromoe: St. Matthew is still very vibrant as before. Nobody can stop the church. Closing the church was a big flaw on the side of the diocese. We have another church building known as Gloryland, where we can easily move to and register under the Diocese of Okrika or we simply run as an independent church. So closing the church changes nothing. Register under another Diocese? You must be joking. This is Not a Pentecostal church were anything goes. You can start your Church under new names, but not as Anglican. |

cktheluckyman: Why did Buhari not give the NE odi treatment? Well the ball is in his court. He shouls try the re-enactment of the odi scenario and see the entire region go up in flames. The Odi incident is amongst what led to the upsurge of militants activities in the region If the N-Delta goose up in flames, who will suffer. When North was having Boko-Haram, the North suffers more. Any region that decide to fight the government, get self inflicted suffering. |

Dlionsheart: I laughed as never before when a Federal government television called NTA showed their SHOW OF SHAME on television last week of some poor Nigerian with ooutdated local made toy guns as Niger delta avengers arrested.
Except the Niger delta avengers wants to use the Nigeria military for shooting practice, they are no match in sophistication, weapon handling and guerilla tactics. An encounter with a real Niger delta avengers (Niger delta militants) on live operation/action or full military gear is an experience you will never forget in a life time. It's not the nockout being thrown about by boko boys.
The nation cannot bear the next attack by the avengers. War or its threat does not always end war all the time. Rightly or wrongly, they should be reached. Fed. Govt. have been warned! Two weeks is counting!! Watching!!! DUH! Boko-Haram used the same guerilla tactics and what remains of them. Hope you wont cry murder if Buhari decide to give the N-Delt, ODI treatment.Oil is cheap and other region are already exploring, the government might decide to go hard on ND and the outcome? |

Lifebender: Stop typing shits.Turkey was under roman empire before the ottoman emprire.A rift between the catholic church allowed them(ottoman) to gain grounds thru jihad. It was a rift between the Orthodox Christians and Catholics. That rift cursed the Massacre of the Latins(Catholics)and the Forth Crusade. |

Fourwinds: my question is so all this happened in Constantinople? I know d West and East Roman Empire had their differences... There were several Crusades and Jerusalem was d main point of Crusades ok Constantinople (currently Istanbul), was dominated by Italians until the. Massacre of the Latins (Catholics) by the Orthodox Christians. Until (1204) Pope Innocent III, sent Crusaders to conquer Constantinople that was the Fourth Crusade. Note: As at that time Christians were divided into Catholic and Orthodox. The Crusaders were Catholic military Arm. And they persecuted any nation that failed to follow the Papacy rules. |

Crusaders were Papal military arms. Note: the Papal persecuted Christians that doesn't submit to the Roman Church. |

I knew this is will happen. NLC, TUC and the civil society have been working with the APC during the PDP regime.
As at that time the APC sponsored much of their actions against the government.
Now that the APC is ruling the civil society is silent and labor unions divided, because most of them are APC members. |

LaExpert: Most likely not. The removal of 'monopoly' by the federal government is enough to keep the landing cost low.
My question for you is: Is VP Osinbajo wrong with his statement? The VP is wrong. VPs comments below “Permit me an explanation of the policy. First, the real issue is not a removal of subsidy. At $40 a barrel there isn’t much of a subsidy to remove. “In any event, the President is probably one of the most convinced pro-subsidy advocates.
Note : there was no monopoly before APC took over government.
APC introduced the monopoly by making NNPC sole importer. |

I wonder which subsidy the government was paying considering the price of crude oil. My question for you . If fuel prices increase to $100 will the government reintroduce subsidy? |
