dats Civilian road and not military zone. A general with appointed is a VIP
So it ok for a VIP to violate traffic rules.

Look, either it's a civilian or military road, the NCO can never smash the side mirror of any Millatry officer.
Not even a WO1.

Immediately he noticed that the occupant of the vehicle is a military officer, you will see him throwing Salutes left and right.

It simply show that Soldier got no know about civilians and traffic handling.

That is why I like the Military Police, instead of damaging those vehicles, they will make sure everyone on the wrong way park off-road, until the road is cleared of congestion.

if the high ranking military man is violating the law among civilian, no problem. But if he tries that in a military zone, well, straight to guardroom.
Duh, he can't try that nonsense with any high ranking Military officer anywhere.

Imaging the soldier smashing the side mirror of General with escort on Benin road .
What version of weed is he smoking.

Can that soldier touch any vehicle belonging to Senior Military officer?

Soldiers only flex their muscle on civilians.

Let those who want to "dare a sovereign Govt", go ahead.....

The Federal Govt can continue to import Arms for the Armed forces and buy more Naval Ships but let me see which Sea Port will discharge for Niger Delta Avengers.

So, how do we stop it? There are guidelines for felling trees, but the disobedience of the loggers made this ban inevitable.
emerged01:
Let us know what we stop deforestation. They banned them because they failed to comply.
ZACHIE:
It may not stop defrostation but it will slow down the rate of deforestation.
Demand for Wood export grounded Onne port for 4 months.
Those 4 months, nothing went out apart from Wood.
Is there any sense in that?
Nigeria does not have one tenth of China forest .
Why is China not felling her woods?
Think again, simple minds.
Do you know that the local consumption of woods in Nigeria outweighs the exports.

Where do you thing our Sawmills are getting their woods from.

This govt is 10% out of 100% in efficiency. Yet their party members like tinubu are dancing along. Tinubu castigated kachikwu initially but later he joined the band wagon of people blaming jonathan for scarcity of fuel
That is the disadvantage of electing narrow-minded people into governance.

The war ended in 1970.

Despite military rule, we could go anywhere easily with or without visa -- it wasn't a biggie -- we were respected as tourists and students mostly. Things started falling totally apart at around '88 after IBB's greed/cluelessness.

We didn't queue for fuel, we had refineries exporting refined fuel!

Our educational system was better; our public schools were good -- I'd tell you my aunts and uncles who did just 'modern school' in the 50s and 60s (equivalent to form 3, or JSS3) have better command of the English language than most degree holders today -- more disciplined and use their rationale instinct better.

The fact that you would compare us to present Libya, buttresses my fact about real life experience vs online articles.

Shagari was a democratically elected president, but he looted the treasury, same goes for Jonathan.

This is not a democratic gov't vs military thing either, however, bottom line, Nigeria was good then.

Few Nigerians would opt to live in foreign countries then. We came back home from New Jersey.
Other family friends and relatives of ours relocated back from the UK, Germany, and e.t.c. after completing their studies and working for a little while.
Nigerians rarely go to non-English speaking countries then, now you have Nigerians being refused visas by countries like Vietnam, U.A.E, Qatar, Ukraine, and Cambodia -- I know right.
Nigerians didn't know about used 'Tokunbo' cars until the late 80s, we used to buy brand new cars, carton of milk; not sachet, carton of sugar; not 'didi' . . . power generators were for factories and companies -- most homes didn't have one -- they didn't need it . . . I can go on for forever . . .
You people wont stop giving Nigerian this lame excuse about Shagari and Jonathan.

Isn't it a coincidence that the same Buhari who took over from Shagari and Jonathan, always left the economy in ruins.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) monetary policy committee (MPC) says the recession of the Nigerian economy is “imminent”, maintaining status quo on the monetary policy rates.

Speaking on the state of the economy, Godwin Emefiele, the central bank governor, said: “The conditions that led to the contractions in the first quarter of 2016 were still largely unresolved. The recession which was signalled in July 2015, now appears imminent.”

SW does not have a say in Nigerian politics, the north its just covering them, if SS+SE+SW gave jonathan 95 and even 98% of their votes, its still no match for the north, the north will still take it all, and again i believed the population in Kano, Kaduna and Katsina states alone, is more than the six SW states combined.

Lol. Don't compare fibre optics and this one. I was also paying 4K for 40GB on Spectranet as at February. Byt that was night and weekends 10pm to 8am. Spectranet got really slow also. Here in Lagos anyways. Then they decided it was a good idea to double the price. Kmt.

Better Fibre optics speedtest below smiley tongue i think it's 1Gb/s
That's way I am saying 10k is too much for a Market entry for network.

10k for unlimited is too much.

And IPNX fiber in my office, at speed no 4GLTE can never March.

Politics › Re: Who Can Defeat Buhari In 2019? by OBAGADAFFI: 2:44pm On May 23, 2016
Kennydoc:
Guy, stop your unnecessary argument.
You're the one arguing blindly.
You initially said Buhari had 2/3 votes in 21 states and GEJ had in 15. I told you that wasn't the case, and I went ahead to list the states in which they both got 25% votes.
You later started talking about Buhari winning in 21 states and GEJ in 15,and I still mentioned to you that it isn't important the number of states in which the winner won the election. The constitution is only concerned about the number of states in which the candidates polled 25% of the votes being at least 24 (ie 2/3 of the states in Nigeria), and the winner having majority votes.

So let me put it to you this way, if Jonathan had got a total of 15 million votes and Buhari had 14 million, Jonathan would have been declared the winner of the election despite outrightly winning in only 15 states plus FCT against Buhari's victory in 21 states. The reason is because Jonathan equally met the constituitional provision of having at least 25% of the votes cast in 2/3 of the states (he had 25% votes in 25 states plus the FCT. 25 plus FCT is greater than 24).
Where you sleeping when i posted this.

Enough of this argument with you.

The APC candidate got the highest number of votes in 21 states while Mr. Jonathan prevailed in 15 states and Abuja.
Mr. Buhari has also met the constitutional requirement to be declared President-elect by getting more than one quarter of the votes in 27 states.
The APC candidate won in Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Borno, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Sokoto, Yobe and Zamfara.
Mr. Jonathan on the other hand prevailed in Rivers, Plateau, Taraba, Nasarawa, Imo, Enugu, Ekiti, Edo, Delta, Ebonyi, Cross River, Bayelsa, Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Abia and the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja).
The Independent National Electoral Commission is yet to announce Mr. Buhari’s victory because the commission is still expecting results of the presidential election from Borno.
