Crime › Re: Girl Brutalized For Sleeping With Her Married Boss (photos) by OBAGADAFFI: 1:52pm On Apr 13, 2016
Mjshexy:
Sir the angle u are coming from is quite different, all am saying is that we shouldn't always transfer a man's blame on a woman, if the man is at fault let him be the one to face the music but if it's the woman at fault then she should face the consequences. U re a man & u knw how we do things, even when married most men won't tell the side chick he is married & she probably may not know about it & even if she knows he will tell her not to worry about his wife at home but at the end when wifey finds out she won't tackle her husband but the side chick outside. Thanks
The person that should be beaten and jailed here is the wife.

The Wife that cannot confront her husband, decided the transfer her aggression on the poor lady.

I wont be surprised to hear that the poor lady was forced into the relationship by her boss,

Guy, stop defending the indefensible.
Can all the posters on this thread be wrong?
Some have even given me suggestions on how to effect a reversal based on their experience. Others have offered to help. Yet, you are here blabbing balderdash.

Why was Firstbank not placing charges on savings account from the word go?
Why are other banks not towing the same line?

FYI, savings account has its natural restrictions which most people are aware about. You cant issue cheques and you cant carry out some levels of transactions. Also, you cant enjoy overdrafts and bank facilities using a savings account. This we are all aware of. Multiple withdrawals is NEVER part of the restrictions.
If I had to use my ATM card to withdraw 100k, I would have to do the withdrawal five times (20k per withdrawal). Doesnt that amount to multiple withdrawal? So how do you reconcile that?

My wife has not touched her Firstbank savings account in 2 months; yet she was charged NGN105.00 admin fee just this afternoon.

Is any of your relations a Firstbank employee or shareholder? Only that explain your stand on this matter.

The bold letters is the point I have been talking about .

Kgdavid:
I hope you know that you really do not know what you are talking about? At all!

You are not meant to make frequent withdrawals from a savings account and that is why all over the world, you will have penalty charges for such withdrawals. Why should there be charges on checking accounts when you could easily make free withdrawals on your savings account? It defeats the purpose.

By refusing charges on savings accounts, it means you want to run your savings account like a checking account and there by cheat the bank out of the transaction charges they would have imposed on you had you been using a regular checking account! Then why not just keep your money at home under the pillow? Is it by force to keep money in a bank if you're going to come online and rant over the mere equivalent of less than 50 cents charges on deductions?

Banks are business Mr man, and they charge for their services. Withdrawal charges on savings accounts are just one of the many charges they are mandated to make, believe it or not.

Nigerians just complain about every little thing, it so immensely annoying. Some of you need to experience life in other countries for real. Imagine this one telling me banks don't charge for savings withdrawal all over the world? shocked huh

SMH.
Not true, if you don't withdraw from your savings account lets say for 10 months, the bank will still charge you for one service or the other on the account.

With those charges any interest on that account, is of no good.
Business › Re: Help! First Bank Is Charging Me Monthly Withdrawal Fee On My Savings Acct!! by OBAGADAFFI: 10:30am On Apr 08, 2016
LOL, so some people still believe in saving account interest.

Their is noting like saving account anymore, if you don't withdraw your money, the bank will help you withdraw the money through their charges.

That best why to save your money, is investing in funds that will protect the capital and add interests.

base on Transcorp, you can not eat your cake and have it. How can Transcorp split into two, been Transcohot and Transcorp, the main business of Transcorp is hotel, power sector is an added advantage. Who is fooling who, their director wanted each of them to be sell for #10 each. With the current situation Transcorp suppose to be selling for 50 kobo. Transcorp would have perform well has it been it was not dividend into two.
I thought Transcorp got 80% stake in Trans hotel. Why is Transcorp having this problems.

I hope Tony isn't selling another shell company to us.

Chibuking81:
if you use the same amount to invest or trade, whether, 50 kobo or 700 naira stock, the one with the highest percentage of loss, losses much. For instance you buy first Bank at #15 * 100,000 unit of share = #1,500,000. Then with the same amount you buy Nestle #1,500 * 1,000 unit of share = #1,500,000. For the period of one year if first bank losses 80%, it's price will come down to #3 * 100,000 unit of share = #300,000, compare it with Nestle when it's losses 60% for the period of one year, it's price will go down to #600 * 1000 unit of share = #600,000.(if Nestle losses the same 80% like first Bank for the period of one year, it's price will go down to #300 * 1000 unit of share = #300,000) in conclusion percentage are all the same and matters a lot. Thanks for your understanding.
Great Analysis.

Will bookmark this for better days.

i still do not get you. The price of 1 Nestle stock is about N700, while the price of some penny stock is 70k.

1 Nestle stock has the same value with about 1000 penny stocks.

5% loss in price of Nestle and 5% loss in price of the penny stock is the same, the value of both stocks will be the same after the 5% depreciation in their prices.

Eventhough 5% loss in Nestle stock is N35 and 5% loss in the penny stock is 3.5k
Thanks for that clarification
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 10:18pm On Apr 04, 2016
manie:
You look at the loss in terms of percentage Nestle losing N35 is about 5% loss, buy a N5.00 stock losing just 50k is a 10% loss. That means the N5 stock lost more in terms of value and percentage.
I understand your point

Nestle (-1.43%) 10N
NB (-3.6%) 3.8N

The percentage loss in NB is more than NESTLE. But the volume loss in NESTLE will hurt any portfolio.

A 5% loss in FCMB and FBNH won't move me much. But 2.5% loss in Seplat or NESTLE will drive me crazy.

Just check the price decline in NESTLE vs FBNH from last year.

You will understand why most penny stocks are better
