Rivers State governors have access to mad funds, there's gist on the street that Obasanjo had to plead with Odili to fund Yaradua's campaign with promise of vice presidency, there's gist on the street that Amaechi was the major financiaer of the ACN/CPC merger, We all know what happened at the last PDP presidential primary, clearly it took alignment of 2 heavy-weights from the north(one of them a very very very very big spender(atiku) to stop Wike and that's after already aappointing shey na 400 thousand SAs(na money this move chop)...... when it comes to access to money, do not under-rate any governor of rivers state. |
