salt 1: Yes i do know a lot about the church. I am not a pastor there but I join in little acts of service, like visiting schools and blind centresOk thats nice... what if you are invited to go preach at Redeem or MFM. Wouldn't you go? |
Delafruita: in essence the richest man in the world, who actually heads a for-profit organization and a bishop who head a supposedly non-profit organization should enjoy the same luxury.how fooooolish can you be?You are olodo.. that is why you fail your exam because you can not comprehend..."However, i do not oppose his criticism about pastor buying jet, but this fact he got wrong about Warren Buffett." did you see that highlighted statement? No, cos you are blind and quick to jump for comment |
Today preaching by pastor Tunde Bakare needs a fact check. He said Warrent Buffett does not own a Jet. Point of correction, Warren Buffett own one However, i do not oppose his crititism about pastor buying jet, but this fact he got wrong about Warren Buffett. In his preaching: I Am Happy to Answer for Myself http://www.lrawebstore.com/messages/I_AM_HAPPY_TO_ANSWER_FOR_MYSELF.html Fact Check: http://www.forbes.com/sites/matthewstibbe/2011/09/22/warren-buffeett-jet/ http://nation.foxnews.com/warren-buffett/2011/07/18/warren-buffett-hits-back-against-obama-s-corporate-jet-rhetoric |
italo: In order words, your Church is infallible! - the same thing I have seen you accuse the Catholic Church of.Do you need to be appointed for authenticating or characterizing honesty, truthfulness and discipline Nigeria? |
salt 1:
You are right, but the needs of the congregation are so enormous that I don't think a private jet can be contemplated. It appears you know much about the church. Are you one of the pastors or minister? Also does your ministers goes to preach at other churches, Like Redeem or Mountain of Fire? |
Godysien: Life's experiences had taught me great or even greater lessons. One of such is that, if a man was either pre-destined or destined for something or a place with or without praying, he will still get it or reach there. Practically, a friend of mine that we performed an interview together some months back who didn't have the hope of being call-up by one of the leading banks in Nigeria after the most performing candidates were invited for training and the recruitment process formally closed got his invitation and currently on training with the rest of us, while most of the outstandingly performed candidates were dropped for some common reasons. When asked how he got it after the process was closed, he said and i quote" When i wasn't invited at first, i put the whole stuff behind myself and continue moving ahead with my small-scale business. No prayer or even juju was enchanted to get it". Now with this happening, i swiftly declared though not concluding that a man can reach his destiny even without praying. So fellow N'LANDERS what are your stands on this issue to help me in making a valid inference? Intro Hmmn Its a very complicated, but not to hard to understand arena. Man is created to be able to do all things and achieve all things even after the fall of man in the garden of Eden. You will see that in Genesis 11:14"And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth." So whatever man thinks he can achieve, however, because God do not necessary want to create human beings that will just wake up and achieve everything he can, He setup a barrier (curse)for men Genesis 3: 17-19 after the fall of man from the garden. Destine: Ephraim and Manasseh Genesis 48: 17-19"17 When Joseph saw his father placing his right hand on Ephraim’s head he was displeased; so he took hold of his father’s hand to move it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s head. 18 Joseph said to him, “No, my father, this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head.” 19 But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He too will become a people, and he too will become great. Nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his descendants will become a group of nations.” 20 He blessed them that day and said,“In your[c] name will Israel pronounce this blessing: May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.’”So he put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh." Jacob and Esau Genesis 25:21-27 "21 Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. 22 The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. 23 The Lord said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.” 24 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau.[d] 26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob.[e] Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them. 27 The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was content to stay at home among the tents." You will see that in verse 27, the bible makes us to understand that "Jacob was content to stay at home." When destiny is on your part, you will do little to amount to greatness, but if its against you, you will work like an Elephant and eat like ant. Destiny and Time Time, Time and Time is very crucial when it come to destiny. Ecclesiastes 9:11, 12 " 11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. 12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them." When your time has not come, you will strive and strive but eventually fail until the time your destiny is ready to take its course. Prayer and Destiny While destiny could be sure banker, you can get to the bank and have your check bounced sometime if you dont pray. Remember, despite the fact that Jacob was destined, he had to pray "wrestled with the angel" Reassurance of Destiny: While some might go immediately they were born to ifa priest to foretell the destiny of their child, here in Genesis 28:13-15 God himself appeared to Jacob by dream Genesis 28:13-15 13 There above it[c] stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. 14 Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.[d] 15 I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 32: 22-31 Jacob Wrestles With God Prayer is needed to sustain the destine. 22 That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. 23 After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. 24 So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. 25 When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. 26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” 27 The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered. 28 Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[f] because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.” 29 Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.” But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there. 30 So Jacob called the place Peniel,[g] saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.” 31 The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel,[h] and he was limping because of his hip. 32 Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob’s hip was touched near the tendon. There are other references to consider, especially when you look at Solomon in the bible, God promised his father that he will not want any man in his kingdom and God install Solomon. Not quite long he got enthroned, God appear to him in the dream and asked what he would want God to do for him and he asked for wisdom to go in and out among God's people, but God added riches and other things he did not asked for. while Solomon two brothers "Absalom and Adonijah struggled and strives to become king, but failed because they were not destined to. Remember, Solomon never hustles for it. Just like Jonathan hardly struggle to become Deputy Governor, Governor, vice president and president. Characteristics of those with Good DESTINY Recipients most time take it for granted and misuse those opportunities Recipients feel they are better than other, thats why they got there Recipients most time are arrogant and ignore/snob others who are not up to them |
frosbel: Do not put your faith in a church, put your faith in JESUS.' No one is putting faith in church, however, for those who dont know Jesus and would need a better place to learn about Jesus, isn't church the best place to go? And if they must go to church, don't they have the right to know the right church to learn about Jesus? And i can say with no doubt that Apostolic Faith Church is one of the best place to learn about Jesus |
Boomark: I know their names differ. But how about their activities and belief, are they the same?No doubt their doctrines are different, however, they are all part of pentecostal. Christ Apostolic Church(CAC) is different from The Apostolic Church (TAC)and The Apostolic Faith Church (AFC)is different from both. Their principles, doctrine are different, but there could be similarities in their ways of worship. They all sing from Hymn. While CAC has Prophet, Apostolic faith has General & Africa Superintendent, Reverends and Pastors |
salt 1: Not in his agenda, I tell you. He wants to make heaven, pulling many people with him! The vision is to be relevant in another kingdom, the everlasting kingdom.Every organization should pride themselves with some sense of publicity. While i strongly agree with you with his modest way of supervising the church, i think that an helicopter will aid him to be in all other parts of the country where apostolic faith is and will also allow him to be at Igbesa where the faith city is in less than 20 min, putting behind agege motor road and abeokuta way traffic behind. folajoy09: The Apostolic Faith Church is also not popular like those churches you mentioned because all they are after is heaven and being holy. They preach salvation, sanctification and Baptism of the Holy Ghost. They are not interested in population by preaching what people will like. Sorry to say, in these days people are more interested in motivational preaching, prosperity preaching and some fire prayer which are all earthly rahter than heavenly or holiness living.Publicity does not affect heaven and being holy. As a matter of fact Jesus did some publicity that help him gain ground in his days. Also if you dont publicize your good doctrine, then the devil will publicize and take part of the people that you should have attracted to yourself to hell. Boomark: what is their difference? The Apostolic Church is different from The Apostolic Faith Church The different is the FAITH and their head church is in Oregon in U.S |
italo: I will raise my specific concerns but first I think its important to get a clear answer to my question. And I am still finding it difficult making out whether you think your/your churches teachings can possibly be wrong or not.It depends on how you determine wrong teaching. Your wrong teaching might be right teaching for another. Two children in the bible sacrifice to God and God chose the younger sacrifice and condemned the older one would you say one sacrifice is wrong, except the ultimate judge condemned one for another or both accept both. Zikkyy: This na difficult question. i don't see anybody giving you a direct answer (without exposing their behind), even pastors no fit answer this kind of question. The best answer depends on who is giving you the answer. Would you tell someone whose church has told that divine healing exist and he practicalized it in his life and got heal to tell you it was wrong? Or someone who practicalized divine healing and he was not healed to tell you it was right? |
salt 1: You are somewhat right.Interesting. So when do you think your General Superintendent will acquire a jet like Ayo Oritsejefor |
Sisi_Kill: Oh pray tell what then is scholarly about someone who uses Bibke verses that doesn't really make his point? In the desire to come off polite and diplomatic, you end up sounding sillly. No comment need better response |
Sisi_Kill: And this is PRECISELY what is wrong with many Nigerians, you are so intellectually lazy, it takes very very very little to impress you. Someone comes along and dumps a random Bible quote for you, not even bothering to go study the darn thing in context, you raise your hand up high in awe and start bestowing silly titles. While i do not think it make sense to turn this thread to bashing contest, i think you should be careful on how you select your word. What do you mean by "Intellectually Lazy"? Apparently you are one of the people that fails exam not because you do not have answer to the question but you first answer first question and forget the rest in a comprehensive section of an exam, because you too know. Did you read my last paragraph and sentence? I guess you should read that. Also the act of being diplomatic to people comment or argument does not mean the man does not reason, but will like argument to be methodological experience You also see how you fail where is the gospel of MARY 17:10 in your bible |
@ Joagbaje I am still waiting for your response and any other that can put more light into this topic |
Burger01: I just, till date, don't know how they did the trick. it happened to me some years ago around Balogun Bustop, Allen Avenue, at a popular hotel in that area (Could someone please remind me of the name of the hotel?). I lost about about 23k to the swindlers. I just couldn't believe what happened because we all counted the money. So strange o..Airport Hotel or Jabita Hotel |
berem: Anytime I want to change dollars,I always go to this paricular bereau de change located at Allen Avenue to get the naira equivalent.Unluckily for me,last week wednesday, someone gave me 200 dollars and I decided to go change it at the same place.Yes they are and it has happened to me and people i know. Even the same malam that you use to go to can do it for you. But if they know you are trouble kind person they will not swindle you if you are at their shop. The swindling aspect actually come whenever they give you price and you negotiate for higher conversion. If you had agreed for N157 you would have had your money complete and it woundn't had disappeared Sorry o, Just be careful next time and always go to people with shop |
Pastor Kun: Where then did Kumuyi get his rigid tithing doctrine form since Apostolic faith does not preach or emphasis tithes?I don't think its wrong to pay tithes or offering, but i think the concern should be how the tithes and offering are used and what they are being used for. If the tithes were used as the ancient roman catholic (not current one)when they control the government and the church in the form of using the money for the welfare of the church and the states(people) i think majority of the people that goes against tithes and offering wouldn't have much to say. However, i know Nigeria case is different as no Nigerian would voluntarily pay tax not to talk of tithes and it appears these days that people would rather pay tithes instead of tax, the reason behind is that, the bible enjoined and they want to do what the bible says because it will make them prosper; while others excuses are, its our country, we shouldn't be paying Tax, while some will say, politicians will used the money to enrich themselves and live opulently. I think we should look at tithes as a Tax paid in a civilized society, the problem is that many men of God use the tithes paid to live like king and forget the people that paid those tithes. Just like the practice in the Government. However, neither Tithe or Tax is wrong but the handling should be prudent to edify the things of God and the other to edify the people and Nigeria state |
Joagbaje: There are signs of a call. If a man says he's a prophet nd cannot see anything. It's proof he's not. If a man says he's an evangelist and he doesn't win any soul to christ,he is simply not. If a man says he's a pastor and he can't endure to counsel, visit ,and feed the flock ,rather he is busy watching eurpean football he is not a pastor. . So what ever God call a man into ,he empowers such a man for it. He gives ability as a proof of his call on a man. There are obvious signs that will be evident. Those are the things you look out for. When people doubted the denuiness of the apostolic call upon Paul . He simply pointed then to the "SIGNS "@ Joagbaje Thanks for clear and precise response. I want to believe that you are bible scholar, considering your references to biblical verses to buttress your point whenever you respond to threads. However, i think the above response means, anybody can be a pastor if he can visits his member and have passion for what he does, and anybody can be a prophet if he can see vision or can dream dreams that come to pass. Likewise, any body who knows how to convince people, like good politician can be a good evangelist. Sorry i need more explanation on this before i respond with a biblical verses that might not really establish your point. Thanks |
Excerpt from vanguard: Trying but exciting. Un-certain but today I can say fulfilling. Adventurous but today, I can say I can see clearly now. I am grateful to God. One thing I would say to young people, don’t do anything if you are not sure, it’s God. The way I see people getting into ministry today, is very troubling to me. As a leader of Christians in this country, I am very troubled. As a leader of the youngest move of God, which is the Pente-costal Movement, I am very troubled. We are almost an uncontrollable group of people and the way it is, is because we have had an experience which is called the Holy Spirit experience; which is good. The problem that has come out of that is that when people cough, they say its the Holy Spirit. They talk nonsense, they say its the Holy Spirit. How do challenge a man who says he’s motivated by the Holy Spirit? This is what we have done to the Pentecostal Movement and it very painful. The consolation God gave me is that for every move of God had had its own teething and trying periods beginning with the great Roman Catholic Church to the Protestatant, the Anglican, Lutheran, Method-ist, to the Presbytarian, Baptist and so on. There are trials, problems that happened so long ago that people today don’t really know. I really need input on this topic. Recently i watched a movie about a man who has chosen to do the work of God and he started his own church and eventually other pastors said he was not called. I have also heard from veteran pastors that if you are not called don't go and start a church. Another set of people will say especially during your starting time that is usually full of ups and down especially if you are a broke pastor, people will say he is not called while in the same article from vanguard, Pastor AYO Oritsejafor said "To find money to rent a place…..look it was rough! I didn’t have anything. There were those who were just laughing at me, saying ‘you are crazy. You are stupid.’ But I took the risk because this was God’s mind for me. After I prayed, I settled it. I fixed the date." I think people forgot that you canbe successful with a large church and still not be called. Please i want opinion on this http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/11/why-i-left-church-of-god-mission-pastor-oritsejafor/ |
bomega4u: dYou are right. No one will ever invest in a country where you come in with your hard earn money from cold, pain, sleeplessness and several inconveniences and some people will sit down with the intention to squander all hard earn money. How do you intend to solve unemployment? Sometime you just have to do it yourself enter the country and make inquiry, then do the hiring yourself and when you want to hire, try a mean lady to be the manager, i still believe women will still be careful to eat you raw. Above all, its better to put the money where you know you are ready to stay not, invest and leave, hoping someone is managing stuff for you. |
InvertedHammer: My brother..you couldn't have said it any better. I bought into invest in Nigeria stuff two years ago. I got burned really bad. While I waited to fight it out, it was the same folks I was supposedly helping that went out making mockery of my efforts. They even came up with the rumor that I was deported and that I was financially finished. After about 6 months, I packed up and left Nigeria without looking back. Like I always say, if it works for you..good luck! For me, no more business arrangement(s) with anyone in Nigeria.Man you are very right. I have lost close to $30,000 this year on investment in Nigeria. Nigerians are wicked. While i have not yet decided to forgo Nigeria as the best place to invest, but i have learnt that if i am not on ground, i will not send money or give anybody to invest into anything for me. My story started with a family friend and a town man who profess to have all the ideas on investing and making money. So we said lets go into poultry business, every month i will send money into his account and he will tell me that the job was well done and things are progressing. All of a sudden when i started probing that what has he achieve so far and he should give me daily achievement and weekly accomplishment, i noticed that he will say the same thing he said he has done last week a week after. Then i decided to visit Nigeria few weeks ago, man i want to cry. The total money he spent in uncompleted suppose to be a farm pen house was less than ($2000)300,000, he has used my money to buy car and when i arrived i did not tell him,i was in the country, until i show up to him and ask him to take me to the place. To my surprise, wow i was just looking and so dumb to say anything. Anyways.. My lesson is save up money and plan to stay in Nigeria for as long as it could work. keep your money in hard currency and change little, if they say they need 100,000 get 50,000 ready and tell them you could not get to the bank, give story to them and continue to give story until job is done. A friend once told me, never treat Nigeria worker as a friend or family member, treat them like a slave if you want to achieve what you want. But if you are trying to be nice, they will surprise you when they squander all the money and disappear to tin air. We all know abroad is not easy, but if you can take your time and face Nigeria with all tricks and pretend you dont have, you will scale through and once you settle, then it will be easy to continue to make money. Another secret is run away from family member, usually they are the reason why many things you plan never works. |
ambrosini593: The situation of living without a job in this country is frustrating and worrisome. Every graduate had it in mind that after graduation is a job and marriage. But getting to the labour market is a different story. Companies don't want to employ, the few ones that are employing are through connections and family members. Everyday you see graduates roaming the streets looking for jobs, scammers are everywhere looking for people to scam. I could remember how I saw a particular guy on his knees begging a manager outside his office just for a job. I almost cried for the guy that day. Some graduates don't even have money to make photocopies of their credentials not to talk of transportation to interview venues. On respect, they are no longer respected by family members, relatives and friends. Even on nairaland, you see thousands of graduates submitting cv and emails on any job vacancies just to keep hope alive. How are you surviving without a job, because I know it is not easy. I thank God I have something doing. What of you? Please share your story so that others can learn from youWork Work Work... The Nigeria situation is pathetic. While i sympathized with most Nigerian youths and graduates who continue to experience the agony associated with looking for job, some of them are not to be pitied. While few years or even months ago, i would have love to canvas for Nigerians living abroad to help the situation by joining effort together to create jobs or establish or invest in Nigeria. However, Nigeria abroad too are not smiling, things are not really going well. And for those who have thought of coming back home to invest and creates job, some of these graduates have not only squander the business capital, but kill the business completely. One of the guy i spoke with was telling me how he brought so much money to start a block industry with latest machines or equipments, in less than 9 months he ran out of the country. You can not even leave your business especially start-up business with anybody other than yourself Nigeria situation is pathetic, we hear about the Jewish sending money to help creates jobs in Israel. However, in Nigeria case, if you try such, and those who had, end up having hypertension if not eventually die as a result of organized fraud instituted by their confidant or even kill by harm robbers if you dear question or make attempt to collect your money. Nigeria situation from joblessness, corruption, bad leader, no light etc can only be diagnosed and treated by supreme being. I think one of the best way to resolve this joblessness is collaborative effort in youth working together and addressing the situation. The one that has brain to come with idea and the one that has money with no brain should put money down, but here come trust, where everyone want to carry all the money or some does not want to work. An average Nigeria graduates want to be multi-millionaire in one day.. Look at all the yahoo yahoo money that comes in to Nigeria, you will see them buying expensive cars and going to squander the money in the clubs and few years later, when the money is all gone, they now remember they have a degree and will try clean up their CV to start looking for job.. In one of the recent report from Somalian pirates, people were asking what they pirates lords were doing with their money a critical investigation into Billions of dollars that enter into the country, was not even use by the pirate lords for their personal selfish need, rather, they evenly distribute the money to help the poor that use to be fisher men and to improve the village economy" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piracy_in_Somalia " If you go to the Benefit section at the bottom of the page you will see how the ransom collected from victims benefit the economy. If you want i can send you a pdf documents that have detail information on this.. just send me your email if you are interested, because it will not fit into this place. But in Nigeria case, yahoo yahoo boys collect money from mugun and later become the biggest mugun after few years.. you will see them littering and lottering the street of Nigeria with past glory. What happens to million dollars from mugun, why cant that money be used for investment in Nigeria, why should we continue to expect the government to creates jobs.. what happen to our brain that is so good at deceiving people to collect their hard earn money and not good enough to create job with it... what happen to invention, investment? An average student after graduation would live like he owns the earth with a 200k job, what happen to savings? Many want to drive cars, spend 20k in the bear pa-lour when their mates outside the country are thinking of developing new application, thinking of a business to start and planning for the future, Nigeria graduate is thinking of how he is going to yahoo, yahoo everyone so he can drive Range Rover, Bentley, Rose Royce and daily spend beyond the people who work hard for their money My advice, when you make the money, think of making best the money for yourself so you will never have to be unemployed and then plan to employ others. |
Witty07: You shall experience one. Say amen. nairabacks: There's no dilemma here. You more likely to lose money and more patronizing 'money specialists, about 98% of the time.I am so sorry for my Nigerian people, especially young men and women who have fail to grow beyond their thinking. We have failed that God is the giver of all wealth and successes. Instead of us to wake up and to think, work and apply faith for financial prosperity, we have all turn SIRNIYEH to a semi-harbarlist god First thing i want us to quickly understand is that SIRNIYEH can not solve his financial need or put himself in a good financial standing until he is able to either defraud you or work hard in other means. look at able body who has gone to university for 4 yrs and have spent minimum 16years in educational field from primary to university, and at the end of it they have not known that wealth does not come as a result of baba alawo but as a result of hard working Lets take a quick look to my argument. If the Herbalist, Baba Alawo, god of thunder or whoever the spiritual man that can work money juju for you knows that it works, why cant he be rich? How many Baba Alawo drives bicycle? how many of them live in completed building, except they have other means of work like farming, member of OPC and collect some shared money when they go collect money from the rich man in town? How many of them have their children sucessful, but look at the other way and see the Pastors, while the pastors knows that they can not be rich through other means except through tithes and offering given to them by their congregants, some of them have developed several methods of collecting money.. to others its a fraudulent ways, some said its their hard earn labor and other said, they are good at deceiving others. If money ritual really work, why isnt the richest man on earth made his money from rituals, for instance, Slim of Mexico, Gate of U.S, buffet of U.S and Dangote of Nigeria. Hard working plus little or alot of fraud makes man to be rich. There are many examples i could show you... A friend of mine once called me up that he want to be successful and he also want to consult baba alawo and he asked me a simple question, why are baba alawo not rich and please help me ask SIRNIYEH why are baba alawo that read 7 book of moses and all spiritual power books are broke than church rat..even the church rat in most pentecostal church are richer than baba alawo today. So my friends... that are ruining to SIRNIYEH, do not solicit for what you dont really know about o and dont let your life take U-turn for the worst. There is no doubt there is power in the world and there are things that will make you think that power or spirit can do everything, i say no.. every power has limitation except God's power that pronouced heaven and earth to existence.. a better example is the scene in Genesis when the magicians do almost the same miracle as Moses did except that they can not send the frogs to everywhere in the city or part the Red Sea among others and they can not see the dream that pharaoh dreams that Joseph only can interprets. But remeber even in the time of Saul he consulted the witch, which means the bible acknowledge there is power other than the power of God, but no record of powerful fetich that brings money and if its available, those that have been rich through it are still poor than those that defraud, embezzle, use their brain to monopolize their skills to themselves alone and above all live much comfortable than any one that can profess that he has made money through the spirit world. Lets look at people who have been rich..Gate after the invention of windows and other software for computer, tried to monopolize everything to himself, then start buying people who have better idea and give them little money(fraud/deception) Dangote after his business start growing, he collide with the Nigeria govt then he got monopoly and then he made so much money, in flower, rice, sugar importation until the Obasanjo govt later boost him with some money and then he went to manufacturing. look at Jacob in the bible.. his little deception, then he got some sheep and lives stock, look at Solomon he got money, goods and other gold and diamond sent to him from other kingdom. The fastest way to be come rich and the posible way is not ritual, but some legitimate fraud that can make other people to bring their money to whatever you are selling or doing. if one million of people like your product that is being sold for N1 and they must use this product everyday and they all buy everyday in a month you would make N30 million and if this can be maintained. e.g pay govt official to legitimize the product to you alone and you sell this product for 10 yrs and have it that its only you that can sell it, how rich would you be? Thats the way people have made it and will continue to make it, its the principle of wealth nothing much.. lets look at some entrepreneurs in U.S to buttress my point. When Google duo founders were designing google data base they thought it as a product that will serve millions of people and they succeed in doing that and have millions if not billions visiting everyday, then they said wow we made it, but we have not make money with it, so lets make adverts with it, if you search a word, the advert related to it will show up, then they started making money, but their profit will be affect in the future, because others could do the same, so how can we sustain the money, they said, if you have a website, copy this link and we will display advert on your website then we will give u fraction of the money we make, but majority if not all adverts will come through them so they have Google ads and ad-sense. Today they are among first 30 billionaires in the world Look at facebook too.. make millions to love their website and then make money with it.. . how many spirits in the spirits world would have work for a 28yrs old Mark Zuckerberg to fetch him 28 billions and if you combined the wealth of those people that you think that spirit is bringing money for, it can not be upto $28 billion.. so yoruba will say "OTU BANTE" its a big lie. Also have it in mind, that whoever, God does not bless, he could call every spirit in this world, instead of him becoming insanely rich, like Dangote, Slim of Mexico, he will be insanely derailed and become most popular mad man |
chukwudi44: I thought you said one can't be rich without paying tithes!! So how come there are now many rich people who are forced to give to charity? Are you now contradicting yourself?I dont know where you get the impression of highlighted statement from, however you said you "Thought" |

chukwudi44: The fact remains that bill and melinda gates do not pay tithes.Bill gates does. Not even believe in any God let alone paying tithes to him.Works of charity which are completely voluntary does not equate to tithesTithes should be voluntary except when its to be taking from people like you. who put Gun at your head at church because you did not pay tithes? mind you there are many rich people who do not give to charity except when force to pay ok. This happens whenever they breach the law, for instance when google and facebook breach their privacy terms with their users, the U.S force the, to pay millions of dollars to privacy organization and not to the people that bring class action against them- so they are force to pay to charity |
chukwudi44: So my dear what is your definition of tithe? Does it also include freewill donations which might not really be up to 10%? Those people in acts FREELY gave up their possessions. They did not pay in percentages and definitely did not do it as a tithing requirements? What do you pay in church? Tithes and Offering what does that mean to you? That's is definitely more than 10% |
You might also want to listen to this.. If you have not heard this you might have been missing some efficacious power of praise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_psOlvkAS8&list=PL0634810833972EEB&index=20 Lets see what you've got.. and how praises have changed your life for better |
Here is another one. Its obvious that signs and wonders erupts when we praise God The bible makes us to understand that Paul and Silas prayed and sang songs and we all know the miracles that follows. We can also amount the miracle of Jericho to praises breaking down a mighty fortress. The prayer today is that the almighty will break down the fortress of your problems before the end of this year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLLjYGpMQew&list=PL0634810833972EEB&index=18 |
The rhythm of his praise towards God is immeasurable... compel to post this here. I wish we could continue to extol His name in the midst of our life challenges. May God bless us all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ulm6JugNx8&list=PL0634810833972EEB&index=12 |
chukwudi44: So which tither is among the first ten richest people in the world? Even here in nigeria do men like dangote e.t.c pay tithes.God cannot be bribed, his blessings are free and not paid forYou miss the point, while this people may not directly go to the church to tithes, majority of their money goes to humanitarian help. In other word its like tithing.. have you head about Warren Buffett giving several billions dollars to Bill and Melinda Gate foundation and also that the foundation patrons were Bill Gate and his wife : http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/19/warren-buffett-giving-pledge-new-members_n_1896882.html So get it straight that tithes its like an investment that brings one of the best and quickest return. I dont care where you tithes it or how you do it, all i know is that it works for the richest and thats why they are rich.. grow up |
