Hello all, been reading most threads and it's been enlightening.

Went through an agent.
Paper Route
Biometrics: 21 October
Medical mail with stamped passport: 9 November
Medicals done: 10 November
Denial mail: 15 December.

Reasons:
Travel history, family ties, length of stay, personal and financial assets.

My course of study has just 2 admission times, January and September, so, will defer my admission to September 2016 and try again.

Please how soon can I try again. Thanks all. Any additional suggestions are welcomed.

The truth might be bitter but mehn! If u checked n got pp dispatched without mail. Don't no Hw to put it but is not a death sentence.

how do u explain a scenario wer over ten applicants had their passport dispatched same day after about 6 weeks after medicals and the next day all online applicants who applied at abt same time got pp requests? We have had testimonies of people getting trv without approval mail, so their is absolutely nothing wrong with him being optimistic.

Just go to vfs after 7 days to pick it up, to be on a safe side.

UceeyClaire, kaygreen, For paper route applicants, it's possible to get trv approved passport dispatched without an approval mail preceding it. Try and stay hopeful guys.
PS- since medicals have been done and passed, the possibility of getting trv exists.

I just tracked mine now and It was dispatched today no approval mail. Let's just keep hoping

My Dad's SOA(There was a mistake here. You honestly dont even want to know the amount in here. It was less than a thousand naira), his payslips, no landed docs were submitted, daddy's travel history, daddy's ID card photocopy, introduction from his office introducing me as his father.

Hello my good people,
please I need your advice on my study permit application. I submitted my first application on 19th June, 2015 via the paper route; I got a medical request on the 13th of July 2015, and I completed the medical examination on the 21st July, 2015 ,but the application was refused on the 28th of July, 2015.

I decided to submit the 2nd application late August 2015 via the online route, but when I got to the point where I was to upload the proof that I had undergone a medical examination within the last 12 months, I uploaded a copy of the proof of medical which was sent to me on request from IOM, where I did the medical.

Today, I received another medical request from CIC in MyCIC account. Please, do I need to go to IOM and do another test? Advice urgently needed.

Pls y was Ur application refused even after a successful medical? And how is IOM is it cool or should I go to consultants practice?

Hey everyone. I had to register to share my testimony as it may just be what someone particularly needs at a point. Forgive the length cos this thread has been dry for a while compared to when I first found it.
All in a bid to satisfy my curiosity, I stumbled upon this thread about 2 weeks into my online application. Coupled with satisfying my curiosity, the thread subtlely exposed my many flaws. I thought I had my application all together until it got to the rush hour & mass denial turned the order of the day. But then the rush period passed, CIC september recess and then even afterwards! People be giving their testimonies and behind my phone I'd be like well, There is God! Some people expressed their worries after about a month into their app & after reading I'm just like 'me wey done dey wait since June nko".
However after weeks of seemingly endless waiting, I already gave myself delay letter when God didn't. I been done tick Insufficient funds (lol). + I was really scared when the US & CA sharing information thingy came up cos I failed to give up one of my brother's temporary residence in d US + there was this UG guy who was 17 & was denied. Someone posed probably cos he was underage + i didn't even declare my UK visa, so Travel history suppose be follow come too. There and then i just told myself to get off it as the main reasons for denial are what i failed to fix in my app. But God showed up for me, guys the miracles that happen with prayers ehn? cannot be overemphasized kwa. God won eventually!

If this didn't come now, I probably would have failed my Nursing board exam which is in 2 weeks(lol. the worries were all over me) but God's timing is perfect.
Note: I only turned 18 a month+ after submitting my app.

Special thanks to Team12, I never contacted you but knowing we have similar circumstances I followed your posts closely. Wishing all TRV hopefuls same success stories. Just put in your best in your application and leave the rest to God. While packaging your application, put yourself in the position of a VO and give detailed explanation and support documents to answer any question/clarification you think they may need.

Time to go search for accommodation and alternate child care center. The waitlist seems to be on snail speed.

What flights are cheap with shorter layovers?

Abeg Wat do they even test for...make I first of all check myself oo.
