Agriculture and manufacturing seem to be the easiest of topics to write on given the list. Basically data and evidence from countries can be easily gotten to buttress your writeup and theories abound to support them if it's a scholarly writeup.

I met this guy not quite long on a social media, we are friends and I think he wants me but too shy to express his desire. He barely looks into my eyes and whenever am close to him, he tends to develop cold feet: I think I like him but how long do I wait for him ...maybe because we are not on the same level ? am a working class Lady and he is still in school .

Should I ask him out or wait for another guy? I like him alot.
Chai!

After looking at your pic I couldn't help but wish I was the said guy.

Nevertheless If you feel so strongly about him I'd advice you don't just ask him out straight away rather do stuff to make him say what he wants to say.

Make him comfortable in his own skin and let him know you like him regardless of status or income level.

A simple heart to heart conversation will do the trick. Let him know you are holding out on a relationship because you feel he has not said anything about the two of you and so u woukd like to know if he likes u as a friend or wants more.

Ask him to think about it before he gives a reply.

Caveat : most guys woukd say they like you and woukd want to be more than just friends. Discerning if he is fir real is left to you.

To make things easier, buy from US and ship directly to Nigeria. No need to buy on Amazon, Ebay, etc. which do not ship most items to naija. I have discovered a website in the US where u can buy virtually anything and have them delivered right here in Nigeria. CBN policies does not affect your purchase, because they accept Bitcoin - meaning that you can buy any item regardless of price. Go here: www.overstock.com. Very cheap and competitive. Thank me later.
Checked out the site. Overly priced I must say. How do u buy at these prices?

Science/TechnologyRe: The Potential Of Wind Energy In Nigeria by Obeenah(m): 11:15pm On Nov 08, 2015
Ngasky:
wind or solar are only good at peak load situations. but generally inefficient in terms of base loads. which Nigeria needs desperately
the two systems are open system machinery which have the efficiency of between 40-45% only at best case scenario.
it is also very expensive to install and also to maintain. it takes huge area of land/sea which cannot be used for any other purpose after installation of such system.
ask anybody who installs solar system in his house what is his experience? that is why people are going for inverters only rather than solar / wind system.
what Nigeria needs are mega power stations with the capability of base load requirement. and these can be achieved through conventional Nuclear. gas or hydro plants
i dont see where the massive job opportunity is in the phantom wind energy.
for 13 sites to give you 6000MW each site must contain thousands of wind pylons and covers thousands of hectares of area. whereby a single major power plant can give you 8000-10000MW which is better?
Going through your write up I noticed you were not exactly harping on the true realities of the electricity situation in Nigeria.

For starters. The cost of building a 1000MW electricity plant is enormous compared to the solar or wind option. Also the plant would require so long a time to complete that I would be relatively time consuming. Ask yourself why Nigeria is still stuck with 4000MW since the days of Elijah.

Also the huge neglect of the power sector and infrastructure would cost the country a fortune to bring to life.

Now here's my take from my little knowledge of the situation and where the world is headed.

Do to the power sector what was done to the Telecommunications sector. At one point in time Nitel had only 75,000 operating lines with about 40% of that spread across govt parastatals, politicians and the Baba olowos. I bet we all recall the long queues we had to stand in before I could mk a call using the Nitel card.

Now fast forward to year 2000 with the liberalisation of the sector n entry of the now popular telcos. Do recall the telcos did a smart thing. Which was rather than build on the poorly maintained existing infrastructure, they decided to jump that and build from ground up. This was a smart move as it saved time n money. Next was to hand everyone who wanted to make a call a phone and this birthed the GSM revolution in Nigeria. A huge jump from Nitels 75k lines to over 100million active subscribers in less than 10years.

Similar would happen to electricity and power Generation. Every household would get a chance to own of use a solar system and pay to own or on a pay as you go basis. Thus would reduce the burden to generate electricity centrally while channeling the available 4000 MW to the industrial sector.

This is the Future. Solar Energy is the Future and we must embrace it.
Technology MarketRe: Which Inverter And Battery Should I Purchase? by Obeenah(m): 8:52pm On Oct 29, 2015
Judejibs:
With 100k - 120k, am looking at getting an inverter with a battery (or two) that'd

- last long in service
- carry a standing fan, energy saver bulb and charge my devices such as: laptop and phones
- do I need a charge controller?
- what capacity best suits the stuffs I mentioned above (fan, bulb, and charging of devices)?

Went thru JUMIA and saw a 2.4KVa inverter from Mercury, so I ask,
- can this serve the purpose?
- is Mercury a trusted brand?
- what battery capacity do I buy for this? One 200Ah or two 200Ah SMF batteries?
- what's the inverter types? pure sine wave, modified sine wave?
- Are inverters built for gen/phcn alone and for solar alone? If yes, how do I differentiate them?

Kindly lecture me on the above listed guys, thanks...

-Mercury Inverter is ok, it is a high freuency inverter hence will work well for the equipments you listed.mind you it is a 1.4kW inverter hence dont load it beyond that 1.2kW.
-It has a charge current of 10/20A, it is a 24 system considering the amount you plan on, I advice you get 2 batteries of either 65AH or 40AH to ensure proper charging.
-Mercury 2.4 inverter is a pure sine wave inverter
-Inverters are built to convert DC to AC(Direct current to Alternating current), the gen/phcn is to enable supply to your loads while taking a little current to charge your batteries
-For solar, it is basically for charging your batteries while you use them(with the help of a charge regulator.
-you can buy FullRiver Batteries directly from the distributors www.idyllictechnologies.com call 08030675747
Good day!

Why not get a complete Solar energy system instead? I personally would not subscribe to getting an Inverter system especially via the online order platform.

Truth be told. An Inverter is only a broken down solar energy system. By that I mean rather than sell you the complete system early alternative power providers decided to sell you only the inverter and battery at a reduced price.

The downside to this is that you still would require an alternative source to charge and also the inverter normally does not come with a charge controller hence your batteries never last as they should.

I'd personally advice you get a 1kw solar system which would guarantee you satisfaction and from a company which can provide both warranty on components and after sales services.

Typically the 1kw system comes with 4x 250watts solar panels. 2x 200 ah batteries inverter and charge controller all for the price of N750,000 payable in 24months installmental payments of 21,820 monthly.

standingtall:
hi guys,

I have been dating my fiance for 3 years now. In the beginning everything was cool until recently. About a month ago, I found condoms an, empty pack of condoms in his bag, I confronted him about it and he told me he saw the pack on the floor and he liked the colour of the pack so he picked it up.

I let it go because I didn't want to upset him since he started getting upset.

Fast forward to today, I was looking for change in his bag and this time I found 3 different brands of unused condoms in his bag.

I didn't say anything and I won't say anything. I am hurt and crying inside.I just don't understand what he wants again. I hate him so much right now.

Please my sisters, I need a coping mechanism until am safely far from him. Sorry about my epistle. I needed to let it out.
I don't get this. You find a condom in his bag, u confront him, he gives a flimsy excuse, u probe further u notice he is getting angry you decide to let it go? First question : why?

Second. You find 3 different unused brands of condom in his bag, while searching for "change"? . Hmmm

My verdict: your bf is having sex either with you or someone else. You seem to be dependent on him reason you were satisfied with his sham excuse. You can't deal with such at this time before marriage, my dear whatever you are facing here now will be 3 folds after marriage. Know wat u want. If u can bear him cheating go ahead to the alter. If you can't report this to an elder known to the both of you and let him explain himself.

Marriage is best when there is trust. A word is enough for the bride.

Bonita101n2:
I was formerly engaged to a very nice guy who luckily for me was very rich and also got a very good job while we were dating in an oil firm. Unfortunately it did not work out due to external factors (folks). After healing and all, I started to open up again and have and still meeting a lot of men, both rich and not so rich, bad and good etc.

My problem here is that maybe having dated someone that was very rich and also having met and meeting still very rich guy, I'm finding it difficult settling for less. I met this wonderful guy who I'm also attracted to but he is not very rich. Meanwhile, I do have another suitor or two who are extremely rich but I'm not so attracted to them and I know marriage, that attraction is important.

I really like this guy but then again, I start battling with the fact he is not so rich as the previous and the others and what people might say in me settling for less. Even one time he visited, while I was trying to talk to my brother about him, before I could finish, my brother had already said who is this guy that does not seem like he's rich.

It's now making have conflicting feelings and thoughts and I don't want to miss out on a good person but what if I force and maybe get attracted to those other rich suitors but my mind is more on the not so rich.

Please advise sincerely and judging. Thank you.
My advice. The comment made by your brother seems pretty harsh however I can understand given you have dated better men.

Leaving that. I think your man has to be introduced to the family cause obviously I think you've hid him from the fam reason your bro made that statement. I doubt your parents would hold any reservations if he appeals to them as a sincere and promising young man. That would help put your fears to bed or at least get done closure from that angle.

However I believe you have to clear any doubts you might have as I think u hold some reservations about this dude besides him not being financially Ok since marriage is a lifelong contract. It's gonna be hard but if you truly love this dude please take the plunge also make sure he loves you sincerely too.

I will be putting up a post about this soon. Thanks. #SolyntaEnergy #Lekki #Lagos

Science/TechnologyRe: Beware!!! 5 Reasons You May Regret Spending On Solar Power!!! by Obeenah(m): 10:40am On Aug 13, 2015
Good you identified some key issues. However you mentioned KVa and not KW. The difference being that generators use KVA while solar uses KW.

The difference being that KW is of a higher rating compared to KVA. Simple reason why a 2kw solar energy system would require a Generator of about 3.5 to 4kva to match up to.

Another thing you identified are the batteries. Standard issues for my company is 2 x 120v 200ah batteries per kilowatts so basically you multiply the batteries who's us 2 x the amount of kilowatts. So example a 1kw system would come with 2 x 120v x 200ah batteries which is 400ah.

The components come with the solar panels, charge controller, inverter, battery pack and rack. That's the real deal anything less us a sham.

Once again thank you for identifying that solar is a far better alternative compared to generators. Ask me any questions on solar. Call 08035125915 or email : victor.nwosu@solynta.com.ng

It's not an easy role but once you get the jerk you would love it. Key things you need to know:

1:always know your product or service. Even though you might be given an induction. From personal experience going into the field is a totally different game. However when you know your product of service then that's a good start.

2: prepare for a lot of rejection but never let it get to you. You will need that I tell you.

3: don't just choose any marketing job, ve sure you take up a marketing job in an industry you like or have interest in.

4: mist marketing jobs don't pay much. Except you are working for a multinational. So be sure you are working with the mindset if a builder and not to make quick money.

You took off your ring for a month, yet you got mad that she removed hers? If you refuse to keep the symbol of your union with you at all times, it is a bit hypocritical to expect her to keep hers. You need to take the bull by its horns and deal with your marital issues, impersonating her on whatsapp and looking for clues everywhere are mere games. Sit her down, talk to her, and be as frank as possible, because based on what you've said, something is probably going on, and if it isn't, it will. I'm not one for an authoritative tone in a relationship, but this might be one of those times when you need to put a firm foot down, and tell her that she should sever all forms of communication with her ex.
Fair enough. I however do not agree to couples playing eye fir an eye. If the lady had an issue with her husband taking of his ring why didn't she speak up rather than resort to doing same.

I'm in no way taking sides with any of the parties here but the wife just cooked up a recipe to destroy her marriage.

Obviously once trust in a relationship is severed. It's the beginning of a separation. About looking for clues. I believe any man would do same and what's this with the wife agreeing to cook for another man who happens to be her Best ex. Geez.

Recently I told her about my plan to travel abroad for my PHD program and she was very excited, she even promised to marry me immediately i come back to Nigeria, but unfortunately things didn't go according to plan and I had to delay my plans for the foreseeable future, when I told her about my decision She felt bad and told me she doesn't know if we will still marry based on my decision not to travel abroad because i promise her an Iphone 6 as soon as I get there. She treats me well and respects me but how can I deal with these are materialistic attitude? Your advice is most appreciated. Thanks
Thing is bro. Ppl at thus age have formed certain characteristics that will be very hard to change. Since her bring materialistic bothers you this much. I think you need to sit her down and talk to her.

If she really loves you she would st least make an attempt to adjust. If you can also get her a job please do. Check if she's still demanding after that.
