[quote author=emelueobi post=66206903]I paid for my MCC ECA 15th December 2017 and I received my e-copy January 2nd. I believe the festive season delayed the processing of my electronic copy, some people get their own within 7 working days.
Thanks |

mcstan18: Brotherly, I did not imply that it is a pointer to back-to-back draws, neither does it signal a revamp in draw dates. We're only being hopeful that more draws would happen in quick succession (to favor lower CRS score folks in the pool). Where it doesn't, we continue the struggle with open minds. Ok sir, thanks for the clearing that up. Thought another draw was coming up on d 28th. But then we'ld never know until wednesday comes and goes.cheers |

mcstan18: I really do hope so too. I think my prayer of back-to-back-to-back draws is coming to fruition. I'm on 424 though Hello bros, please a quick question, how does today's draw point to a back to back to back draw? Doesn't it just point to a rearrangement of dates for draws? Am really as suprised as anyone about the draw. |

hugoe: Counting my blessings one step at a time, as I go on this journey. I have been waiting, wondering and hoping that the ongoing strike should be resolved, so that the further verification requested by WES from Uniport can be treated. I have even thought of cancelling the BSc part, as the MSc had been accepted recently. The former has been pending for over 6 months. Last night, I received a mail from WES, stating "This is to advise you that we have received all required documents. We will now begin to prepare your evaluation report." I logged in on my WES account, and it's same as the email received. I called on my twin immediately to know if the strike has been called off, or probably they treated it. He says the strike is still on, and he has not even submitted the bank teller for the extra charges Uniport requested for, so that they can treat the request. Well, I am amazed and I chose to share this, to encourage everyone. It might not be epic as receiving PPR mail, but it's one step achieved in my plans. In between, I'm still wondering how it happened. What caused them to change and decide to move on with my evaluation? Am hoping and praying that the angel that visited your file would have a look at mine too in uniport. |

Favoredme: It's PPR people!!!
My timeline is:
ITA..... Jan 10 AOR.... Jan 17 MEP..... Feb 02 IP1 ...... Feb 02 NA2..... Feb 06 IP2 ...... Feb 20 PPR .....Feb 20
When this part 3 was opened, I made a silent declaration that my PPR story will be told here and here it is!
I want to give God the praise because myself and spouse wrote IELTS in August 2017 once using only ieltsbuddy.com and the road to IELTS from BC. Then ASUU or was it NASU strike held back our WES until Nov/Dec 2017. Family size of 5.
We started this process using the CIC website only until I stumbled on this thread (part 2) through Google. I will encourage newbies to read the CIC website and thoroughly because every needed info is there and seek further guidance or Naija experience from this thread and parts 1 and 2. Waoh this time line has to be some kind of record. Congrats from this end and good luck to you and yours. |

mcstan18: Dear Brethren,
...for the Egyptians [BC and IELTS] whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The day has come for us to be set free from these Egyptians. They have somehow given me some sort of mixed feelings though. Nevertheless, I am extremely grateful to God that my morale didn't wane down to a nadir.
L - 8 R - 9 W - 7 S - 8.5
I'm considering a remark in the W, I need that 3 points badly. What do you, my e-family think? On a lighter note, someone here was touched to give me a hug the last time while I was seemingly downcast. Now is the perfect time, with all the RED theme everywhere. Shall we pick a rendezvous already? Waoh congrats bro...being looking out for your post. You did well...all d best from here on |

I wouldn't know much about hotel accommodation price but i hear most are fully bookd thru d weekend because benin is a transit city. There are hotels in and around d test venue if u choose not to stay at d venue (protea hotel). I really won't b able to give u a price range because i have no idea but trust me getting one to stay in wont b an issue. |

eyoiba: Kindly assist with below enquiry, I need to make decisions based on the information. I wrote in Benin there was no problem what so ever with the venue (protea hotel) and yes we had earphones for the listening test. There was a two hour delay the day i did my speaking test only because the BC officials had flight issues coming in from Abuja. I'll score the venue 100% |

bbaby84: I think spouse is fine as spouse should be giving like 16 or 17 points already. The maximum spouse can give is 20. Did spouse evaluate degree? That should add another 8 to 9 depending on level of qualification. Don't waste 68k because of that.
Goodluck Yeah spouse adding 18pts for first official language and yes degree was evaluated adding another 10pts. |

Emmasonic4me: @ the bolded....Are you for real? Always closed your eyes during IELTS exam just to concentrate?
Numerous sites and tips advice candidates to keep an eye on the next question for two reasons * The answers may come in very quick succession so you don't miss it. ** To help you monitor the keywords to listen so as to catch up with the audio if you miss a question.
Please tell us the real strategy you used in concentrating during the test to get a consecutive band 9.
Hello future test takers... Please don't try this in the exam hall. Make una come oooo!!! The 8th wonder of the world is here. He/she closed their eyes during ielts listening test. Please how dd you know what question u were answering? |

mcstan18: My people, I waited so long for the results to be released before going in for a budget presentation. In fact, the thought of the results kept me cold all through the session so much that at a time, the CEO asked someone to put off the AC because he felt it was too cold for me. Him no know sey na IELTS result anxiety dey shake my body .
Anyway, I wrapped up a while ago and the first thing was to check the much awaited result. LRWS: 7.5,9,8,8.5. Even though this was better than the previous, 'L' somehow contrived to throw a spanner in the works yet again. By my assessment, I did pretty well in the listening test of January 6 that I expected nothing short of an 8. Well, it didn't quite happen as expected but as the saying goes, "winners never quit". I logged on to the BC site and registered for the next available test here in Lagos. Perhaps my early morning (Fast and Furious) drive to Ibadan that day might have affected my concentration levels, I can't tell. I shall be back again but with good news. There's no room for letting up
Thanks GlitteringStar and Mosbiod for checking. We go finally make am for this Canny journey Hello bro...being following ur story here. I dont know what 2 say other than....be strong . |
