lagcity: this would actually make sense if it wasn't written by an okoro whose ppl have become daily suya all over Nigeria. what have u done abt it? we've shown you what we've done in the past and what is going to happen in a few dayz from now. so, stupid okoro, stop distracting us, there's gonna be Hausa blood on the streets. u okoros can thank us later for doing what you couldn't do to the hausas.
Shut up! Ijaw come, sack a whole local government in Ondo State. Hausa come, sack a whole community in Lagos.

You people have become so shameless you think you can always talk your way out of your problem. Face front, there's Hausa man there.

This is the story: Hausa killing Yorubas in Lagos and destroying their properties.

My Igbo brothers, please give the Yorubas a chance to weigh their options against their killers, the Hausa. Some of them I've found a comfort zone and are creeping in to start Igbo/Yoruba bashing.
Their problem is Hausa not Igbo. Don't let them digress, they are being killed in the West so they should address that.

Yorubas, this is not an Igbo thread. Deal with your problem like men!

Onlytruth: hehehe! cheesy cheesy grin grin

When we were kids (around 9-10 years old), one boy in our play group had a weird way of reacting when you provoke him. He would simply ignore you and start pushing the youngest member of our clique. This boy would NEVER confront the real foe. He would always take it out of whoever he thinks he can fight.
So, one day, he repeated the same thing with a "small boy" who newly moved into the neighborhood. The boy lifted him up, threw him to the ground and fed him with sand! shocked grin
That was how the new boy bought his "freedom" from this coward boy. grin

One day, some of you will provoke something in Lagos that you cannot handle. All these attempt to take out your frustration on Igbo will lead to something that can even change the ownership of Lagos permanently. We are not like aboki, but what I know for sure is that the Igbo have more investment in lagos than in any other part of Nigeria. FACT!
That alone will ensure that our reaction in Lagos will never resemble our reaction in the North. Be warned! angry cool
This they don't know. Everyone should live peacefully in Lagos and Igbos, naturally, will not provoke a conflict, we are peaceful people; but if by any chance things get out of control, the ownership of Lagos could change hands, no one knows. If one thinks that territories cannot be ceded in this age, then they are in for a shock.

Bottom line, live in peace with your neighbours like the Igbos.

Look out the effort Yoruba guys here are putting in to divert the problem to Igbo/Yoruba bashing while they are being killed in Lagos by the Hausa.

I thought not long ago, the OPC showed their "strength" by displaying various range of locally made sophisticated weapons from sticks to broken bottles to iron bars to machetes while warning Boko Haram not to come to Yorubaland else Odua will descend yet again unto the earth. Little did we know that Boko Haram are already on location, right at the centre of Lagos. The question now is: where are OPC?
PoliticsRe: Hausa, Yoruba Clash In Lagos Over Murdered Youth. Hausa Go On Rampage! by Obiagu1(m): 4:41am On Mar 20, 2012
I have to apologize on behalf of the Igbos for this violent attack by the Hausas on their Yoruba brothers.
It is Igbo's fault and we hope it won't repeat itself again.
LMAO @ the way this thread is turning.

See the way Hausas can make the 90% scatter to 0.9% in a day. Trust Igbo Yoruba men to start packing out like the way they ran away from the North grin grin
Just corrected it. I think you guys are 90% in Lagos, owners of Lagos, why Hausa drive you commot?

To be honest, reading Desola's post shows that some people really get worked up by exchanges on NL.
She is now so scared and worried about Igbos that even if you kill her brother, that's irrelevant to her until she settles her score with the Igbo. Interesting.

Desola: Some modaforking ibos getting on their blooody high horses telling us to deal with the Hausas as if they are any better.

You lot shoulld know that once the Hausas have been dealt with, you would be next! We don't want bloody ingrates and murderers any longer.

Forking asswipes looking for strength in number. If you wanna avenge the massacre of your people, pls head North and not use us as shields here in the west.
You missed her point. Read it more carefully, see that she is the saying the same thing I am...
I really don't think I missed her point. She was basically saying that the Igbo got away with "whatever" and you guys did nothing so others can equally exercise their right that's why I asked her if Igbos ever attacked the Yorubas.
If she wants to equate what the Hausas have done to whatever she perceived the Igbos did, then that's wrong.
PoliticsRe: Hausa, Yoruba Clash In Lagos Over Murdered Youth. Hausa Go On Rampage! by Obiagu1(m): 2:23am On Mar 20, 2012
Desola: Hypocrites!

Ibos can have their little enclaves but Hausas can't? They have the same rights the ibos have in Lagos and right now, they have kicked dust in your faces! All other ethnic groups are showing you that truly, they hold sway in your regiom. The ibos have spat in your faces and the hausas have kicked dust. So, whatcha gon do?
Have the Igbos ever ran around Lagos with machetes and guns hunting down Yorubas? You people will keep shouting Igbos this, Igbo that and Hausa will wipe you out in your land.
Face the problem before you and leave Igbos out of it.
PoliticsRe: Hausa, Yoruba Clash In Lagos Over Murdered Youth. Hausa Go On Rampage! by Obiagu1(m): 2:15am On Mar 20, 2012
bittyend: If OPC don't do something buy tomorrow, phuck OPC too. Phucking Igbos claiming 90% of Lagos, now Hausas are about to claim 110% - what's left for us? what happened to all the guns and voodoo OPCs youths were parading Lagos with? sad
Walahi, wetin Igbo do una?
So Lagos is now Yorubaland?

Let the Yorubas and Hausas start the riot, we'll see who will lose much at the end, the business men who own 90% of Lagos or the cow herders.

If I were some ppl, I'll start moving my business back to Abakaliki.
What's your problem young lady? The fight is between Yoruba and Hausa and you're wishing Igbos bad luck already. Na Igbo cause am?
PoliticsRe: Hausa, Yoruba Clash In Lagos Over Murdered Youth. Hausa Go On Rampage! by Obiagu1(m): 1:54am On Mar 20, 2012
Three streets; Nuhu Oluwo, Oniyanrin and Adeyeye, were completely taken over by the Hausa youth who wielded clubs, pipes and machetes and other weapons while they ransacked every shop on the streets.
Where is OPC!

This is happening in Yorubaland.
PoliticsRe: Northern States To Get 13% Derivation On Solid Minerals With Immediate Effect-FG by Obiagu1(m): 1:40am On Mar 20, 2012
There are two distinct areas,

1. An on-shore location on firma terra
2. An off-shore location on maritime waters

The firma terra is a direct territorial domain of Nigeria and governed by trust and consensus. The maritime waters is an extension of the sovereignty of Nigeria and is owned and held by proxy for the consentual peoples.

Indigenous lands and territory of the people of the oil producing coastal towns will include the land upon which they have abode and the territory sorrounding from which they earn a living and subsist. Any land and or territory outside of that range belong to some other indigenous people. If no other indigenous are found or subsist on a land and its territory then such area is a property of the convening power in which the land and its territory is by jurisdiction located.

We must know the territorial range in which these coastal people fish or subsist for their livelihood and spiritual wellness. How far out is it into the sea? How far away are the off shore oil deposits and wells? Are the wells outside of the range of the Deltan fishermen? If it is then the maritime waters and its mineral deposits belong by proxy to the peoples of Nigeria.
The extent the fishermen can travel/fish does not determine their territory; one can even travel to the centre of the Ocean these days. In other countries, anyone can fish in those territorial waters once you have permit for it be it a national or a foreigner. The only claim they have is when their means of livelihood is affected by a disaster caused by oil spill and that comes in form of compensation.

Abagworo: I'm still waiting for someone to show where I made derogatory remarks of Anambra. I will not be tempted to respond with the same level of insult and aggression. Empty barrels they say make the loudest noise.
You are as guilty as those that made derogatory remarks here. You opened this thread for what purpose? You've got what you wanted and don't play innocent here; what happened on this thread is exactly what you expected.

This is the kind of thread I expect from Yorubas not from an Igbo, so you got what you wished for. Good for you. You can now think of another similar thread to open, I won't be surprised to see one soonest so give it a go!

Ufeolorun: Theres no way i can help you guys cos it seems you dont speeak yoruba. You may have your own slant to the word fine,at least someone of up there just came up with an Edo version.like i said earlier,i am no historian or linguist but i will try

O/yinbo;hes/shes scratched and peeled.Yin and also Bo are words on their own.
O/tilo;hes/shes gone.tilo is a word on its own
O/jare;You please.Jare is a word on its own.
the O is used to refer to the person being described, talked to or talked-about.I can go on and on,people with basic knowledge of Yooba knows OOO features prominently in the lang.
So you mean that "Oyinbo" is a broken Yoruba "He scratched peeled". SMH!
By the way, scratched like tiger whiskers?

Someone please help me here, did the first Europeans to Yorubaland have scratched skins/face?

Onlytruth: Nna we are his "chi". cheesy cool
He has to deliver to us or else we toss him under the bus and look elsewhere. The marginalization of SE is getting intolerable!
He needs to deliver Enugu International Airport for us ASAP.
The Onitsha bridge is another project that needs urgent action. We must have new bridge.

We need these two things more than we need an additional state; though we would accept additional state only to equalize with other zones.
I'm still eying Anioma as that additional state to be zoned to SE.
We are his "chi" like you said; we hold the key to his re-election.
But my brother, I don't tire no be small, the way SE is being neglected till date is really sad and they wonder why we remain staunch Biafrans.
PoliticsRe: Enugu Community, Igga Owns Oil Wells That Anambra/orient petroleum Claim by Obiagu1(m): 12:37am On Mar 20, 2012
@ OP, you always come out with misleading titles, shame on you.

Your last title was "Orient Petroleum Oil Blocks Are In Igga, Enugu, Not Anambra As They Claim"

The picture below shows the two oil blocks owned by Orient, OPL 915 and 916. How can you relate it to "not in Anambra as they claim" or "Igga owns oil wells that Anambra claim"? SMH!

Onlytruth: Well, please make my day! BTW you have ZERO respect for Anambra state and Anambra citizens here on Nairaland. Many of us have asked you to desist from your ways, but you ignore us all. I have personally used EVERY SANE method and strategy known to man to talk to you about your wild ways, but you just never listen. If the issue under discourse has nothing to do with me or my home state, you would never see me trying to cajole you into sanity. undecided The issue affect me personally as nwa Anambra state. So, I have a standing to ask you to desist!
If you don't desist, then be prepared to face EVERY Anambra person on this website (apart from your multiple clones of course), and I assure you that you will not win the resultant battle. In fact it is the type of battle I would like to fight because it keeps the fight very local, incapable of destroying the SE and Ndigbo.

So, I ask you to stop and if you must continue, then LEAVE ANAMBRA STATE OUT OF IT!
I don't know why this is so hard for him. Anambra man should behave like one, we have our ways and our dignity. That dude is really an exception, no insult intended.
I don't know why anyone should even be so worked up by the OP, Abagworo, who is not really sure he is Igbo.

13% offshore revenue to coastal states is illegal. I've said this and will keep saying it. Until coastal states become a nation, they don't have claim to the NATION'S territorial water.

Ufeolorun: Oyinbo is two words joined together that's rooted in Yoruba language hence makes more sense than your onye igbo story but your story is funny though
. lol
Yin=scratch bo=peel. I think the first yorubas who saw the white men thot they have peeled skin that's why they looked reddish hence Oyinbo
Nawa for you people. Oyinbo = Yin + bo. Where is the "O"?
By the way, how is "scratch" + "peel" = "peeled skin" huh
