d good book says dat a man dat cannot provide for his family is worst than an infidel. i believe we know wat dat means. nevertheless, a woman is meant to be a helpmate to the husband which means that since both of them have become one, they are helpmates to each other. in our world it is ideal for a man to provide for his household but since the world's economy is not helping out, it wouldn t  be  bad for the woman to assist the man.
she is under the man, he allows her to go out every morning and be  back in the evening so at month end she should be able to share the national cake. though that does not mean that the woman is under obligation or must be pressurized to do so. all the same i dont understand how a woman will be earning salary at the end of every month & will have the mind to sit on it. i will call that wickedness & witchcraft. men on the other hand should equally learn to fulful their own obligations as helpmate by helping in the house.

as for me i've vowed not to be a housewife, to work hard and ensure that most importantly my kids have the best life can offer them. infact that is where most of my money will be channeled.

b/4 u knew it she has fallen in love with someone else via chatting. dis one is presently going on till date and is moving to the the solidifying level. the truth is that of all her r/ships, the internet ones last longer.

I can never alow anyman marry me based on that. if he wants to marry me then he should go ahead and do also else he should forget about it. i dont see pregnancy the basis of marriage. it simply means, he is marrying me cos am pregnant for him.

besides people and more so my friends will all be like, "" he married her cos she is pregnant for him, "" my dear that sucks ok.

you should watch ""passion"" running on etv south africa on week days(mytv cable) and see what is happening there. someone dropping the lady he loves for some other lady he thinks he loves as well cos the lady is pregnant for him. the lady in question now has to make sure she does not loose the pregnancy so she can remain married to the guy while the ex prays she looses the pregnancy so she can reclaim her place. what nonsense. now pregancy has become the basis for the marriage.

Marriage to me shouldnt be based on having children. Else what happens when the children does not come even when both parties want it desperately?

Nevertheless, children are worth having in a marriage. they make it a home. they are fun to be with and there is nothing wrong in anyone procreatiing his/her replica. besides i think every woman should be given the priviledge to experience the joy of motherhood.

""if she is bouyant financially"", u 've answered it. if she is bouyant financially then it's either she buys a washing machine and drying machine, employs someone in the house for that, or worst still let the dry cleaners do the job. so it does not really make sense whether she does it herself or not, the most important thing is that she knows that there are laundry to do.

Most importantly, her job should not in anyway affect the well being of her home. such as having time for the kids and husband, which is the most important thing. i really love to be a career woman but when it starts affecting my family well-being i will definitely resign.

Different issues can make one walk down that lane. we all have different perspectives over this single parent issue. to me i really dont see anythin wrong with it, provided the person in question has what it takes to be a single parent and can make up for the other parent. at the same time bearing in mind that his/her affairs should not affect the child/children (afterall man body no be firewood).

it is one option i can take if situation calls for iit. i love children and really long to have them. to me if i leave this life and dont have atleast a child then i lived an unfulfilled life. Again, i've always told my friends that marriage is one thing i dont EVER want to make mistake in and instead of me to be involved in all those marriage palaver, believe me nairalanders i will comfortably prefer to be a single parent.

the truth is that in as much as couples are not supposed to keep secrets from each other but the truth still remain that some things are better not said. what one does not know will not kill him. to start with it's a very shameful act and shouldnt be mentioned to anyone's hearing not to talk of one's spouse. we should be honest here and forget this issue of ""understanding"" from either spouse. everyone i belive knows what incest means and we all have our different perspective in terms of culture and all on that issue. so no man will hear of it and tell u he understands just like that.

if it should ever happen to me, well God knows i will not tell a soul. i will just make sure i obtain His mercy and forgiveness, the next step is to bury it and make sure that it never escalates for life, period.
