Topiipii:
If you got questions on instrumentation, then you're lucky. In my own case over half of the questions were for an entirely different course; for every question that has a diagram or function, I got unrelated questions on pressure, triple point of water, flow rate etc. The questions that were based on control happen to be the ones without any diagram/function and are purely theoretical ones. I complained to two of the invigilators and was told that other people in control had similar issues unlike those in other courses. If this is true, then those in control have in my opinion been cheated and presently, I don't think PTDF will do anything about it.

exactly same with me.

spawne: After sleepless nights and all, this ptdf people chose to focus most control systems questions on just instrumentation ( like that is all control systems is about).
Anyway, hope lives on.

I thought I was the only control guy that noticed that

chess guru: Men NL peeps can form, I bet my left butt tongue that 3 out every 5 person there was a Nairaland person.
Anyways we thank God.
I asked questions about the actual cut off for this online test we took, and why everybody with a 60% and above were not invited...the man dodged the question like a bullet tongue saying that the cutoff was chosen by BAT, and its like a company secret bla bla blah.
Then apologized for the late invites for some of us.
All in all, I had fun cheesy. Its not by shouting or really showing off, its by how productive each of ur contribution was (even if it was only once you contributed, make sure it counts to the overall objective).
Big shoutout to all my group V guys. We were the last, but certainly not the least. Decisions where made democratically with minimal banter and arguments, and the presentation was on point.
Like I said earlier, the race is not for the swift, or for the strong, or for the "I too know cheesy, but for.............

Happy for you, this same opportunity is what I am looking for. I have even volunteered to work for free. I also passed through TTC mobile.
As per experience, I partook in Huawei BTS installation and ZTE network optimization for a month. Still searching for opportunities to volunteer.
May God help us all.

Check out merit telecoms and Astera. And send your cv as a graduate trainee. You could physically go to merit telecoms office and drop your cv

@ Oga AJANLEKOKO and the other chairmen here, i greet you all. I must confess this thread really helped me in defining my career choice. I began reading this thread since 2010 when i was still a student and i graduated in 2011 with a 2'1, while awaiting my NYSC i undertook a training with TTC mobile. Currently i just finished my NYSC (june 2013) and following the advice i got from this thread i am currently with a telecom implementation firm that manages BTS installation as a graduate trainee. for my colleagues that just passed out, stop waiting for job of 250k cos sadly and unfortunately the jobs aint there unless you got EXPERIENCE. go for the experience. time is coming when your brain and experience will make you worth millions.... Thank you all
