What's happening? I thought this people say they are the most educated in Nigeria

So south west is yet to move beyond tribalism

It is a pity and it is shame

This election revealed alot of things about south west to the world

Peter Obi Inspired Me To Start Making SUVs, Pick-Up Vans

Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, the Chairman of Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing (IVM) Limited, has named former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, as the major person that inspired him to manufacture SUVs and Pick-Up vans.

According to Chukwuma, Obi supported him by increasing demand for locally made vehicles across the country and supporting indigenous merchandise in his administration.

He disclosed that as Governor, “Mr. Peter Obi placed orders for 500 SUVs, 700 buses, and 500 pick-up vans and that helped us a lot because he does not owe, he even paid us in advance.”

I have just two things to say:.
Firstly, to the Yorubas forming woke and liberal. There is a Yoruba adage that says;

During the endsarz protest. We all thought we were fighting for the betterment of Nigeria not knowing some people were scheming to takeover lagos. They imported lot of people from the e@st. It was too late before we realised we were been played. They had already destroy our infrastructures, burn down our BRTs. And to even add salt to the injury they blamed it on our elderstateman, Bola Tinubu . Who isn't even a governor or a president.

This election isn't about the betterment of Nigeria to them. It is about Lagos state. The Yoruba-controls Lagos state they so much envy. They want to takeover the place, they know Obi won't win. But they want to takeover Lagos state.


Firstly , Endsars.. One might even wondered as at that time if sarz only exist in Lagos . With the kind of destruction that took place in disguise of protest.

Secondly, they came with the opinion that lagos is no man's land. Same Lagos found in southwest, not southeast, not North. But southwest. How is that a No mans land?

Thirdly , they have been engaging In anything to bring down Tinubu. If Tinubu is gone, which other Political influential person can the Yorubas point to ?

Fourthly , they pushed for a yiibo police commissioner. Which they failed.

Now they also want the Yoruba INEC rec gone. A petition is currently ongoing to remove him.


My second question : why Lagos state? I need honest answers. Why not abuja. Why not rivers, why not kano. Why Lagos ?

Thirdly question: why so much hate on a man who accommodate you people, allow you run your business in peace. You buy land, you build. You enjoy same right as the real indigenes. He Employs most of you guys in different part of state ministries, Parastatals, different arms of governance, your people are commissioners in the state and also house of reps... You can contest for political seats.

You even install Eze in Lagos with ease but reject emir in Aba.

Why so much hate on this man? What has he done to deserve it? Please i need honest answer.

Tribalism goes both ways.
That someone spews hate at another does not justify that person to do same.

You gerrit! When people and underage cross from Niger to Nigeria to vote they get their PVCs and even NIN promptly. People from certain regions don't complain. People from this country and outside come in trucks, lorries and trailers and stop at the by-pass and other entry points, get registered and collect PVCs and no one complains. The young ones insist that they must wash your windscreen and get money. We don't complain or ask them to return to their places.



Now a human being is now regarded as an animal. A human born in the image of God. This is what leads to genocides - Hitler's Germany and Rwanda's Hutus. Hutus called their own fellow Rwandas 'cockroaches' we watch the movies and condemn the actions and killings by the Hutus. We condemn the gas chamber of Hilter against the Jews.

But alas, we let politics divide us and cause many to lose their decorum, morality, faith, humanity and senses. We repeat what we condemn in others and forget the speck in our eyes. Others are the bad ones not us.
We let hate!

Those we claim to side inter-marry and have businesses in every region. They attend each other's ceremonies.
But alas we degenerate a once worthy forum as nairaland was 2006 till about 2009 or thereabout, to a platform of hate and chaos. Tribalism here stinks more than racism faced in Germany and other foreign nations by some Nigerians.

How can anyone justify hate and tribalism?
Many of us have been victims of tribalism but we cannot take a whole tribe and hate based on the tribalism we faced from a number of their tribesmen. If not, many of us would never socialise, work with others or live with others.

You, yes you who hates one tribe in Nigeria, you have friends, fellowship mates, neighbours, you have workmates, bosses and employees who are from that tribe. You've dated from there, married from there, served there, vacated there, attended burials and weddings there. Infact you have benefited from that tribe. But you hypocritically come to a public forum and spew HATE... What a shame

For all of us who are neither tribalistic or from the WAZOBIA group, please remain neutral and show love. Maybe they in their "majority" can learn from the minorities to live and let live and love without tribalism. It would be sad if a non WAZOBIA comes here to fight the "unuseful" wars and tribalism these folks come here to fight on 99% of threads here
