This might not end well.......... Executive Judiciary and the legislature all in one boxing ring |
Linda Ikeji posted this moments ago Nigerians in France welcoming President Buhari with "Brooms" instead of the Nigerian flag. Shouldn't these Nigerians be waving Nigerian flags instead of brooms? http://lindaikeji..com.ng/2015/09/shouldnt-these-nigerians-be-waving.html?m=1

chukwudi44:In politics anything can happen don't say never! |
NgeneUkwenu:Lol |
NgeneUkwenu:This might be different because the senate under Chuba Okadigbo, Evan Enwerem were almost homogeneous with PDP having a clear majority with Saraki you have a Senate where the APC is fictionalised with one faction in alliance with the PDP and without the traditional Igbo rivalry for the seat that existed then thing's might be different |
HOW APC INTENDS TO FINISH OFF SARAKI (SEE SEC 24 OF THE CCT LAW) Section 24 (3) (b) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and tribunal. 23. Powers of the Tribunal to impose punishment (1) Where the Tribunal finds a public officer guilty of contravening any of the provisions of this Act, it shall impose upon that officer any of the punishments specified under subsection (2) of this section. (2) The punishment which the Tribunal may impose shall include any of the following- (a) vacation of office or any elective or nominated office, as the case may be; (b) disqualification from holding any public office (whether elective or not) for a period not exceeding ten years; and (c) seizure and forfeiture to the State of any property acquired in abuse or corruption of office. Appeal might buy him some but members of the APC in the Senate should start shopping for a replacement the game is up because Buhari has already pacified members of his nPDP block in the APC with ministerial nominations, Atiku knows his own files of (stealing) might soon be dusted so he is likely to leave Saraki to his fate this is a fight Saraki will have to fight all by himself ....... http://resourcedat.com/document/code-of-conduct-bureau-and-tribunal-act/

The Ekiti State government has set up a five-man committee to see to the take-off of the proposed Ado-Ekiti Airport project within the next few weeks. The constitution of the committee followed a meeting held by the state governor, Mr Ayo Fayose, with stakeholders involved in the project at the Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti. In a statement on Wednesday, by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, the committee would start with the marking out of the 2,000 hectares out of the 6,000 hectares of land set apart for the project. The committee has as chairman, Mr Kayode Osho, who is the Commissioner for Works. Governor Fayose, while speaking during the meeting, said the state government might start with the construction of a standard airstrip and that it could be improved upon in the future. The governor said with the prevailing financial constraint the state is experiencing, it would be foolhardy to embark on any grandiose project. “For every project there must be the political will to make it work. No matter how small an airport is, as long as it meets aviation standards it is welcome. Even if it is an airstrip, we need it. “We believe in little beginning even though we don’t have the resources now. We are willing and I believe with God all things are possible. The airport must start and we need a standard airstrip that can be improved on in the future,” he said. Fayose said a fund raising dinner for the project would be held later in Lagos. Also speaking, renowned lawyer, Chief Afe Babalola (SAN), said he mooted the idea for the state to have an airport in 2009. “I thank Governor Ayodele Fayose for revisiting this issue. It was in 2009 that I mooted the idea and Federal Government approved Bayelsa, Delta and Ekiti airports and voted money for them. All we were expected to do was to look for appropriate place and key into the matter.” www.tribuneonlineng.com/node/17153

As Nigeria Migrate from "analogue" banking platforms to fully electronic systems scammers are also upgrading their fleecing platforms simultaneously. Scam emails has become one of the deadliest e-weapons in Nigeria’s cyber space as spoilt kids scout for people to defraud. First it was stealing of Pin Nos and Card details, before we knew it they swooped on the BVN opportunity and used it to defraud many innocent and unsuspecting Nigerians. Fews Minutes ago I received an email from a "scamist" who claims to be Mark Samson who posed as CBN information Secretary Quickteller Channel unit 1. To the Best of my Knowledge the CBN does not operate ATM machine anywhere in Nigeria 2. I also know that the CBN does contact Individuals they contact money Deposit banks who in turn contact the customers if there is a discrepancy they want to address 3. The inexperience thief said I had a problem with my last ATM withdrawal when CBN itself has directed Banks to switch from Debit cards to cards with higher security features! Unfortunately despite warnings from banks some people will still fall for such scams especially senior citizens / pensioners who are now embracing the android OS and technology to ease the burden of the long queues in some banks. Kindly share this info and ensure that these Yahoo boys never pop champagne with the sweat of any hard working citizen. May God Continue to Bless Nigeria and Nigerians

I was reading an incredible thread where the Op posted a strange picture of a cat sucking milk from a dog when I saw this hilarious picture Although the Opposite of Original should have been fake or Counterfeit, Nigerians have adopted the Original / China description over the years Even though the teacher was unimpressed with the students line of thinking which I consider unique and in tune current realities probably within the area the students lives calling him mad is out of place! If that picture is real then such teachers have no place in our class rooms Wishing all students returning to. School a happy academic session May God Continue to Bless Nigeria and Nigerians

MizMyColi:God Bless You real Good you have spoken well |
On Friday last week I received a long mail from a man who wanted me to STOP criticising General Buhari, this was followed by long phone conversation on Saturday evening , on why Buhari is the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria. As I listened quietly to the emissary and the carrots he dangled two things came to my mind ; NIGERIA & SELF My response was simple, direct and unambiguous 1. My allegiance is to Nigeria first before any affiliation, if Nigeria gets better we will all benefit. 2. My criticism of Buhari and the APC was largely because of their attempt to scam Nigerians by denying the promise they willingly and openly made to Nigerians before the elections 3. As Such I Promised to stop Criticising the President On one condition ; If He and his party take responsibility for the promises they made to school Children, NYSC , Unemployed graduates amongst other promises they made before the elections My caller was unsatisfied with my response and insisted on Getting a blank commitment from me to his Principal which I rejected. I do not intend to engage in the destructive politicking as practised by the APC ,where our Soldiers in the War front were mocked and given demeaning appellations just to score cheap political point's Like I have said previously Nigeria will still be here long after APC and PDP are gone just like the SDP and NRC have disappeared into history books. I do not need anything real or imaginary to stop criticising Buhari, even when GEJ granted state Pardon to Alams I voiced out my position and disappointment. I wish the President a successful tenure in office May God Continue to Bless Nigeria and Nigerians Oche J.O

Nigeria's problems started long time ago......... |
ADRESSS OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH LEADER AT THE INAUGURATION OF THE PDP YOUTH RESTRUCTURING COMMITTEE Gentlemen and Ladies, Good afternoon, Today, we are taking the boldest step yet in the history of our party towards advancing our long time goal for youth mainstreaming and expanding the space for young people in party affairs and activities. Subsequently, a team of young and bright minds will be mandated to review and examine all youth related issues and propose a strategic template for more robust and constructive youth involvement. I have no doubt, based on your pedigrees, loyalty, commitment to this party and your individual capacities to undertake this historic responsibility and make our generation proud in the necessary pursuit of reforming our party. The fact is this: young people not only require but also deserve and demand greater roles in the affairs of our party. The future is not about the old and retiring; it is about the young and emerging. The future of this party is and should be more about preparing the next generation of leaders for our party and country. As a generation, there is a strong desire by young people for statutory representation decision making organs of this party especially the National / State Executive Committee, the National / State Caucus. There is also wide appreciation for the reform of the Board of Trustees; that is constitutionally exclusive for members above the age of 50, to include young people. These present day operational circumstances is definitely not in tune with prevailing and future political realities and it is certainly inimical to our party's future political prospects. This fundamental gap in representative democracy will definitely hinder political transition, leadership identification, tutorship and recruitment. Among others, it is my responsibility to promote sound measures that will guarantee and deepen the roles, involvement and place of young people within the party. From our last electoral convention in August 2013, it was all about the 2015 general elections. Now the elections have come and gone and unfortunately we lost. But fortunately, it affords us the opportunity to right the wrongs, to fill the gaps and to concretely plan the future pathway for our party. I share the belief and strongly support the call by us all - young people generally; that for our party to grow - we must undertake both structural and institutional reforms. These include youth, women, administrative, candidate selection, leadership recruitment and organizational reform. Reform within the party is now both a political necessity and a pivotal survival measure. Without it, the future may be founded in the past and certainly we will not base our future on lost precedence. The 2015 election losses delivers for us a rare opportunity to prepare for the future. It is in this spirit and wisdom that this PDP Youth Restructuring Committee is being inaugurated. Your selection and acceptance to serve in this historic assignment is highly commendable and appreciated. This Committee is not to dwell into matters of the last election - that already is being handled by the Post Election Assessment Committee. This Youth Committee is about the future; our future. Its terms reference clear and unambiguous and its recommendations will be forwarded to the National Working Committee for appropriate action. Our quest for youth mainstreaming in the party may require constitutional amendments, it might require the consideration of NEC and possibly the attention of a convention. Therefore, the road will be long and daunting but we are commencing today with our youthful audacity. Under the guidance of God Almighty, in full exercise of the Oath I am sworn and that which I will keep, with the full support of members of the National Working Committee of our party, I now have the privilege to invite the Acting National Chairman of our party to inaugurate this Committee for the benefit and future of the Peoples Democratic Party. Thank you for coming and God Bless. Abdullahi H. MaiBasira National Youth Leader, Tuesday, 8 September 2015 |
JOB LOSSES : DSS IMMIGRATION ET AL MATTERS ARISING When Abba Moro and his blood money thirsty friends decided to fleece and sniff life out of many young Nigerians, we all protested and expected the then president to boot him out, but it never happened certain political interest ensured Moro never paid for his sins. Hundreds of thousands of young Nigerians were stripped of their hard earned money and many paid the ultimate price, sadly rather than go after Moro and his gang of fraudsters that defrauded these young Nigerians Buhari and his confused team of advisers have again come after hapless young Nigerians in the guise of correcting a non existent error. The decision of the Buhari led administration to cancel a clean and transparent process that has been hailed by many is satanic and ill conceived. Many of these young people participated in Moro's Punzy scheme and despite all odds kept faith with the presidential committee that supervised the second process, some even borrowed money and took loans against their expected earnings only to be booted out on the eve of their commissioning. Similar faith befell members of the Cadet Officers Basic Course 28 of 2014 codenamed COBC28/2014. Who had been in the academy since December 2014 for a 10-month training, the demonic scheme of witch-hunting perceived and imaginary enemies also led to the release of a chunck of these officers who have been trained both in Israel and Nigeria on weapons, IED, and other highly technical security maneuvers as free agents for political reasons. Prior to the elections Buhari had promised to provide 1 million jobs annually, no one expected that he will undo the jobs already created by the Previous administration. In his short stay in office Buhari has been responsible for the loss of over 300,000 jobs directly and indirectly from Immigration to DSS, From Construction to lecturers who resigned and took employment in COE's upgraded to Universities of Education the list is endless. These method of en-snaring cadets 48 Hours before commissioning shows how much the administration glory in inflicting maximum pain and sorrow on young Nigerians whose sin none of their accusers have been able to point out. Due process is sacrosanct but any process that does not take humanity into consideration is useless. May God Continue to Bless Nigeria and Nigerians Shalom Cc: Lalasticlala, OAM4J, |

emmyblackky:Nigeria needs China and China needs Nigeria !!!! That is the truth......... Read this Nigeria needs China’s financial and technical assistance in the development of its decaying infrastructure. China too needs Nigeria’s oil and gas to fuel its growing industry. In addition, Nigeria is, potentially, the largest market for China’s industrial products in Africa. Nigeria’s imports from China account for over a third of its total trade with West Africa. The influx of Chinese products in Nigeria’s domestic markets is very evident. No matter the number of questions raised about the quality of those products, customers are provided with cheaper alternative choices. http://leadership.ng/features/434584/nigeria-economy-how-china-and-usa-battle-for-relevance |

The sooner the APC and the sai baba broom wielding herbalists realise that these "autopilotism" is a recipe to economic and social anarchy the better for Nigeria.
