RIP So sad Pour out a little liquor as 2Pac would say |
^^^^^^^ Also, no matter how into recession the UK is, jobs still exist. Are they opportunities for technical skills in the IT sphere e.g. computer/network techie openings? Thanks |
FutureDon:Abeg make una post O! Thinking of PG studies there this year O! |
Thanks but I don't currently speak french which I believe is a criteria.

And how long does it take to learn the language? ![]() |
AGIP- Any govt in power A former Minister of Foreign Affairs who now chooses to become an ambassador[just to get a job]? ![]() Its part of Ebele's transformation agenda |
During the “removal of fuel subsidy” protests, the President repeatedly acknowledged the average Nigerian’s right to protestBIG FAT LIE jo! ![]() Why did he bring in the military for civilian matters when it was apparent he had lost face. How would posterity remember Reuben? I guess: A man who voluntarily set fire to everything he ever wrote. Shame! CLASSIC PUNCH LINE. |
I know many of us thrash the 3 Lions as mediocre yet watch the same players week in , week out in the EPL Could the problem be non availability of a coach who could mold them into a well oiled team unit? ![]() Just thinking aloud. |
AjanleKoko:Thank you jo! ![]() What is world class in a coach that cannot blend the mediocre English team into world beaters? Capello has nver played exciting footie with all the trophies under his belt go check Was he not sacked by Madrid despite winning the league? Zambia's coach Herve Renard has built a team that works for each other void of egos and superstars That apart, they play exciting footie but capello? ![]() NO! Believe its the best thing to happen to English footie |
ochukoccna:Reuben Abati too [sad to see becoming Ebele's mouthpiece turns you into his rabid attack dog and you lose all modicum of respect people had for you. Have you seen his tirade with Dele Momodu and Sahara Reporters is exposing him?] |
Ghana thought all they had to do to win was show up? ![]() Bad move as they found out ![]() Match reminds me of last nation's cup when we thought all we had to beat Ghana too was show up |
@ Reference, your position would be ideal in a clime where the govt is all about service Christ always tells his followers to repent in a bid to reconnect to God Has PDP made any effort to cleanse itself of corruption? ![]() Was it not in 9ja a PDP minister say of Bola Ige 'We invited him to come and chop, he's making noise' Is it that ministries are not catering outlets? ![]() Is it not in 9ja that a convicted PDP bigwig left prison for a church 'thanksgiving' service and an afterparty all on national TV? And to think you expect the YY cybercafe hustler to repent? [not that I'm justifying him] |
Beware of covetousness A man's life consists not of the abundance of his possessions. -Jesus Christ |
Reference:No one touches PDP [government] positions in 9ja and comes out filth free. Ask Wole Soyinka Lateef Jakande Tai Solarin Fill in the rest |

Several investigations into NNPC and the sector were conducted by the House of Representatives during the period, but neither Obasanjo nor Obaseki the Head of NNPC or his successor ever resigned during these investigations and everyone of us kept quiet. I used to think that what is good for the geese is also good for the gander or is Deziani's own different. The only thing needed for evil to thrive is for good men not to speak out. OBJ will have his day in court too. Do not abort this probe with ethnic sentiments the way the subsidy protests were in the SE/SS. ![]() Why did she not speak out about the sleaze she met? ![]() Why did she multiply the magnitude of the sleaze? Let her RESIGN! ![]() |
Seems Yusuf just had his daily dose IGBO when he spat this out ![]() Soyinka might not be a politician Naija stylee but he's a statesman extraordinaire and one of Naija's most visible and sell-able brands |
Here we go again |
Waste of human sperm Fetuses which should have been aborted |
i notice you've had this problem since 2008.2008, I don't recall posting about this as a problem before or even in 2008. The quandary is really how to advance my career. with IT, it doesnt matter what your BSc is or isnt.True, but most employers have a bias for academic degrees along with certs why UK?UK is about the only country that has one year conversion courses for graduates who lacked a significant amount of computing in undergraduate study. Please do you know any other country that offers such? American, German, Canadian schools don't seem to offer such. University of Cape Town offers such a program but it's duration is 2 years That's too long;also the longer the program runs means more expenses to drain the student's pocket. ![]() if you are thinking of coming back to Nigeria, the India option gives you better ROI.Another Nigerian degree? I don't think so. The abysmal standard of Nigerian education makes that obvious innit especially when you are talking about science and engineering courses. I believe the India route would be far so ideal if all one sought to do was work in the industry, as a technologist and ultimately a consultant. just did, or tried to.I saw pmy's link sometime last week and his story made me think I could get superior insights especially from industry insiders if I posted about my situation. Like I said,I'm already conversant with Cisco, Microsoft, hardware and an average of Linux&Wireless technologies. Going to India will broaden my industry acumen, I know, yet its my quest for academic strengthening in the same field which is putting me at this crossroad. Thanks yamakuza for taking time to read through and reply Appreciate it Look forward to more insights from you and others to help make the right decision. |
slimyem:Really?! ![]() With her ponmo lips? ![]() |
If I may add I hold a CompTIA A+ cert and know my way around hardware and desktop support& networking at that level. |
Hi y'all ![]() I'm caught in a quandary regarding how to proceed my in IT journey ![]() I've worked as an IT trainer and currently own a cafe but my undergraduate degree isn't in IT I'm very interested in Networking Technology and used to hold a CCNA [it expired this year] along with my MCSA Right now,I'm thinking of going to the UK for a Master's program around April/September to cover my academic deficiency and because I'm thinking of becoming a University lecturer sometime much much later Yet due to the cost, I'm also thinking about networking& security certifications like the CCIE,UNIX, CEH and SANS/GIAC Institute offerings i.e. build my own Cisco lab for hands on training and go to India/other countries to sharpen my skills Please share your insights I would really appreciate it ![]() Thanks ![]() |
litusista:Cisco or/& Microsoft a matter of preference It also depends on what kind of work you do If you are more into technical support aiding desktop users& providing them services go for Microsoft& Cisco CCNA If you are desire backbone network support& infrastructure, embrace Cisco especially CCNP, CCIE& UNIX as the Internet runs on UNIX |
Why is Ebele&his military goons getting twitchy? |
eejo:And kits in America where the Op is can't detect it? Bullsh*t and ABSOLUT Bullsh*t. ![]()
|
Goodnight Samuel. |
Too late Shetima You don't bring in the fire extinguisher when the building has been burnt down |
Gbawe:So on point Gbawe. Only wish the ethnic secessionists will reason this way for their instigators& by extension Masters are in on the booty alongside those muting ethnic expressions. |
