Hello guys! My sibling got a USA visitor visa. So she booked a flight for Jan 2025 but scheduled her return trip to 1st July 2025. I wish to enquire on the following;

- Is it advisable to schedule a return flight as far as between 5-6 months? Is this a safe option or does it pose any risk?
- What kind of questions would they ask at the US airport (JFK & Atlanta) ?
- when people travel to USA on visitor visa, how long should one usually schedule their flight arrangements - for both arrival date and return trip?

Pls is it possible to book for IOM Tuberculosis (TB) Test and pay later?
If yes, how many days will I be given a grace period to make the payment after booking my TB Test date?
Also, will there be chances of getting a booking date around October and November?

Hello everyone! I intend to sponsor myself for UK student visa for Proof of funds. Apart from submitting 28 - 30 days bank statement for UK student visa application, is it going to be compulsory for me to provide documents that explains the source of the funds in my bank account?
For example, is it compulsory to submit other evidences like landed property sales or CAC business documents too to explain where the POF is generated from? Pls I really need to know because due to my age 30+, I want to clarify whether actively keeping money in my bank account for 30days for POF as a self-sponsor is sufficient without the need to explain where the source of money comes from. Okay this is the roughest estimate ever and am bored this evening so here goes…
I would peg the cheapest decent bed and breakfast at £50 so by 5 days you looking at £250.
I would strongly advise against a self service room especially private arrangements in the south east like Woolwich,Plumstead,Abbeywood as too much can go wrong and there goes your deposit.
Have a look on booking.com for a better guide.

To get around you would need a week oyster or a Visitors Oyster card that can take you across the zones via train and buses let’s call that another £100 but if you take a black cab and/or bolt it would be a lot higher.

For food are you a MacDonald’s guy/supermarket restaurant or Nando’s/five guys type?.Or Nigerian restaurant like 805/Tasties?.Or fine dinning with jazz playing in the background at the shard?.If you basic and can eat in Wetherspoon ild say £45 a day x 5 days that’s another £225.

You don’t live in the Uk but are a visitor so your kind of shopping determines eg whether you a primark/Asda sort of shopper or you go big and land in timberland!.

Secondly, my brother intends to write an invitation letter to invite us to UK for his graduation ceremony. Your aunty most likely has her returns or can request from tax accountant/preparer
But tax return has vital sensitive info like her dob,ssn, her spouse and kids.. Most people wont give it to a family member to be sent via email to an Australian uni.. e dey too risky. Sorry about my response

that is serious indeed. I don't understand why my school is so awkward with this demand. But by the way, I heard that the former US president Trump had his tax returns released to the public. How come that the US congress committee published some details of Donald trump tax returns to the media and public despite how sensitive the documents really is?

For a visitor visa, the most important is your financial integrity in your home country. If you can prove strong financial ties, then there is a high probability for visa approval.

Tax returns are available to any US worker irrespective of immigration status.. yes non citizens file taxes in the US.
An Australian uni asking for her tax returns?? .. too risky. Unless it would be acceptable for her to remove/block some of personal info like DOB, SSN, her spouse of kids… if such info is intercepted by scammers and hackers, she’s messed up for life. They can commit fraudulent activities with her info. I completely understand her hesitation.

that's the huge surprise. The Aussie university requests income tax revenue (ITR) from applicants sponsor, no matter what. Everybody that I've spoken to that applied to that university submitted their sponsor Income tax revenue of 2yrs above

currently work with Ministry of humanitarian affairs thru N-SIP (and I receive minimum wage pay). My Mama (Civil servnt) and uncle (self-employed / business owner) also want to apply for the UK standard visitor visa too.
