Ok, already reported to the ukvi on this website too since last week Monday.. i heard that they respond on five working days, which is meant to be today.. But i really thought that UKVI had phone number

Why did you fill Post office in the first place when you're an international student. As an international student always include your school address till you have arrived and you have gotten a place since you don't know your way around.

Hopefully they respond as soon as possible.

that is probably where d challenge may have started from. My relative in UK paid the visa fee and IHS on my behalf. So the person chose "Post office." Sadly I didn't know that i ought to have selected my university because nobody mentioned this case in the group chat too.. I was unaware. Not even my education agent (BCIE) advised me on this matter too. Even up till now, if you check the comments here, the main gists are mostly on 'universities and tuition cost, CAS, dependents, visa cost, 28days POF, payment methods form A etc. There are other topics that are very important but are not discussed on the group chat. Even accommodation matter is hardly discussed here, and it is very difficult to get in UK if you don't pay for hostel accommodation on time, esp if u have few cash. I only hope that this BRP matter gets settled this week because it has been over 3weeks without any response nor mail.

Sadly this is becoming common and there is no other solution other than calling and emailing them till it comes out

but it seems different for those who chose their university as their BRP delivery point... those of us that picked Post office are mostly facing d BRP delay problem

Good evening @Justwise and all the gurus here.
Please read my write up and kindly advise me on the next step to take. This is my story:

Submitted visa application: August 1.
Biometrics: August 23- Standard.
After 30 working days, when I didn’t hear any news, I sent a paid message and I got a reply that a decision had been made.
After 35 working days, sent another paid message, I was told that they’ve escalated my case and that I should wait for 15 working day’s from the date of my escalation to get a response.
Then 3 weeks ago, I got a BRP mail. Since then, nothing.
When it was 50 working days, I sent another mail, they said they have now re- escalated the issue and to wait for a response. 2 days later, I got a decision mail that visa has been approved. What baffles me is that the decision letter was dated August.
Since last week that the decision was letter sent to my mail, I’ve been tracking and still at DMC. Please how else can I escalate this matter? I paid for courier and passport has not been delivered yet.
Anyone that has been in my shoe before to kindly advise me as I don’t know what else to do. Thank you.

I think a lot of people are having this issue. I know someone who came in same time as you and only got his this Tuesday. So, yours might become available this week.

Pls I have not been able to get my Resident Permit (BRP) in UK since I arrived on 19th October for studies.. Does applying for studies or visa through an education agent in Nigeria affect the way a Biometric Resident permit (BRP) is processed or delivered in UK?

what about Resident permit (BRP) that takes them weeks to give out, not to mention their lack of mail response.. Post office address is a dilemma, and UKVI is in stalemate

That will be frightening if UKVI office went on break.. they still haven't given many international students their Biometric Resident Permit (BRP). Pls do u know their contact details?

U have a promising path if you have the opportunity to study abroad. With you strong CGPA and field of study, I'd advice you to apply for scholarship abroad.. esp cheaper countries within Europe

I've applied to that stupid school since September 27 and still now I've heard nothing from them. I mailed them and they replied October 28 that they sent my application to the compliance team. I got response from Coventry and Middlesex within 4 days. I couldn't wait for LMU again cos there's no time. Paid my Middlesex deposit yesterday.

So far so good, Glasgow Caledonian university (London campus) still seems like the cheapest for Msc in London.. 13500£ per year.. Because others I have been seeing is 16k 17k and so on... Pls, can any one shed more light on this...

I have been online searching for a school
1) In London (my sponsor, said it should be in London so as to save cost of accommodation and feeding. He lives in London)
2) A cheap school that accept at most 3500 to 4k as initial payment.
My target is 2022 September. But I want to give him feedback now based on my research.

it is just an unfortunate delay. December is getting closer by the day, and the year is almost ended, and September intake students usually have short holidays. I don't know why this BRP delay would take time like this. very sad...

But why would the word "migrant" be used, when one is an international student/graduate ?

Is it possible to apply for jobs and to get a job in UK without a Biometric Resident Permit ?

I hardly see any positive vibes or gist about most universities at Northern Ireland. How come? Or isn't Northern Ireland a good study and work environment for international students/graduates ?
