There was a general delay recently due to numbers of BRP to be attended to. A mail was sent that individual do not need to bother to check for next 4 weeks. So, previous mentioned 10 days after arrival no longer matter. The mail was clear enough and addressed all what you need BRP for (work, house, etc) can be done presenting the mail.

I don't think so... My bro never did any pre-CAS interview.. He only sent POF to Chester Uni, and they later sent his CAS (took time though because it was very close to resumption date and they were occupied with many applicants)

Valid ID and utility is applicable to all banks, most account that witness this are opened with invalid ID like student's ID card. Fidelity bank usually do this to all their savings accounts even when opened with valid ID card.

OK, it's true. I remember trying to open a Gtbank acct last month, only to discover that I once registered with them during my undergraduate years with a student ID. So I was simply told to Update my Account and ID because it later got restricted while trying to get Atm card.

Visit your branch with valid ID card and utility bill, it will be resolved, nothing to be scared of, print your statement and submit your application.

so banks actually freeze people's account if a large sum of money is transferred into it... It sounds weird though, this makes things difficult for the self-sponsored. I really hope this solution (ID, Utility bill etc) is applicable to all banks.

No mistake..just make sure you initiate payment early enough so it gets there before 19th..Some banks form A can take forever, but I was made to understand that access processes their's quite fast.

Do they accept 3rd class? That's the question the person seeks answer to. I don't think that is d case of Huddersfield.. that university mostly demand 2.1 from applicants

Course of study- M.Sc in Information Technology and Network Management at Robert Gordon University at Aberdeen, Scotland

Biometrics - Wednesday 22nd September 2021 at Ikeja TLS for myself and my wife. My wife had appointment but I did walk-in as I can’t wait till 24th September because school has resumed since 13th September and my own biometrics was meant to be 24th September.

Monday 27th September 2021 - Received first NSF Mail

Monday 4th October 2021 - Received 2nd NSF mail. Shortly after I received a call and an email from UKVI for a video interview slated for the following day 5th October for 9:30am. ( At this stage we have disposed of most of our things at home and we’re practically sleeping on the floor. Imagine the tensions that were already creeping into our mind and lives?)

Tuesday 5th October 2021 - Video interview commenced as scheduled and lasted for about 1 hour. Questions asked ranges from reasons for my previous three visa refusals from 2003(two refusals) and 2016(one). The also asked reasons for the 13 year educational gap between B. Sc (2008) and intending M.Sc(2021) and what I have been doing in-between those years. They asked other others ranging from why I wanted to study IT, why I chose Robert Gordon Uni, what myself and wife were doing for a living amongst other sundry questions then the interview ended.

Monday 11th October 2021 - Wife’s profile moved to VAC and later that day a pickup mail was delivered .

Tuesday 12th October 2021- My profile moved to VAC and a pickup mail was sent later that day.

We both travelled to Lagos on Friday to pick up our passport with our visa inside.

It was a torrid journey which started in May 2021 and had a lot of delays from my university(Olabisi Onabanjo University) failing to process my transcripts on time to RGU first offering me a pre-masters which I rejected to the real masters admission coming out late on the 1st of September 2021. What about having to go to the Ikoyi registry to correct numerous errors on our wedding certificate which they made three times? The numerous near accidents on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway amongst others.

In all these we thank the good lord that the whole project was successful at the end.

Hello room. I got a conditional offer at RGU this week, and I had to notify the RGU admission office by email that I request a deferral. But I still haven't accepted the conditional offer. Is it a good decision to defer an admission offer without accepting the conditional offer yet? Pls I need your advise

Did a quick check. Below is an excerpt from RGU webpage on Deferring of offer;

Deferring Entry
In most cases it will be possible for students to defer their studies for one or more academic year and each request is considered individually.

If you think that you would like to defer your studies, you can contact the Student Admissions Service and we can of course assist you.

Course content and academic entry requirements can vary from year to year, therefore, students may only be able to defer entry for one academic year but this is course dependant. If you wish to be considered for a future intake, please email Admissions and one of our Admissions Officers would be delighted to help.

Yeah I read this before.... I have already notified the RGU admission office of my deferral request by mail. The only issue is that I still haven't accepted their conditional offer. I don't know whether i should avcept their offer or wait until the RGU admission office replies my deferral request mail first...
