digisat twin/quad lnb..is good on frequency 11938!

1.8m dish nilesat 7w signal on Qsat and Strong.

The signal not stable on Qsat. It fluctuates between 62 and 98%. I am thinking it could be diseqc or cable problem.
On strong 4669xii, fluctuation between 50% and 53%.

signal Q stable at44 to 51% and 63 to 65% on 2 receivers....

what it means is that you are not getting badr/4!MBC is on badr 4 fr:11919v27500 probably badr4 is weak at your location
cos I got badr4/6 with 3m on some frequency like: 12207v.12360v,12683v,12523h,12476v,12456h,12666h,
12111h,12130v,12073h,12054v,12034,12015v,12092,12149,12437h,12169v and11919v MBC and MBC int@enugu
meanwhile MBC on nilesat is more better than badr hd with EPG still crystal clear..

My question is: can white gloosy or oil paint produce more gain than the white emulsion paint? I'll do the painting tomorrow so members,advise me.

...the use of black border is to boost contrast on projector screen plus screen will look more attractive with black border!...

"oil white paint reflects more light than white emulsion paint"if you want to experiment use a bright torch light very close to an oil painted wall..it will throw the light back to you..do the same on emulsion paint wall..I will prefer oil paint for contrast! you can use your projector on both wall to compare which one is best for you!.. projected image will look more brighter on a glossy or oil painted wall..

Here is my projector screen made using flex material and cotton pole!...

option(1) use black and white flex material and you can use cotton to hang it on a wall while the white surface should be at front and the black at the back..as on the pics below..to make borderline.. fold the black surface of the flex material about 5 to 8cm @ the length and width of the ..in front of the screen...this will increase the gain of the projector screen!

option(2) or you can frame the white flex material using plywood..

To use the above on an android box, the box must be rooted
I ran the data connection through a wifi adapter like the Tplink TL-MR3420 and installed simple server on the box. The box was connected using a hdmi cable to a 42 inch lcd tv.

I just ordered for one myself and will throw more light on it when it arrives.

Quad core processor of the android box is more faster ..gets the job done faster opens app and browse faster than the double or single core processor of android box or mini PC...nice info on the data plan!

Please my oga i have this satellite finder kpt 938h which is dvbs/dvbs2 compatible but when ever am tracking with transponder that is dvb-s2 and that am about to lock in the signal the finder will just turn off to standby and boot on like after one minute so what i want to know is that is it software bug or hardware and how can i enhance the sensitivity of the tunner if their's any way thanks

...that should be software bug! I have no idea of the software update!

Pls is an mpeg2 sat finder a good sat finder? can it track all sats?

mpeg2 is a format for coding video Tv broadcast..a satellite receiver or finder cannot determine if a signal is broadcasting on mpeg2 or mpeg4 until it scans the TP to decode mpeg2 or mpeg4...the standard for broadcast is dvbs/dvbs2!
What determines if a signal can be tracked is dvbs or dvbs2 standard for broadcast!.A dvbs2 sat finder can lock any satellite signal broadcasting on dvbs or s2.. then complies with mpeg2 or mpeg4 for video or audio decoding! to view the channel!

To answer your question,mpeg2 only sat finder can only be dvbs...it can track/lock 98% of satellite signals received in Nigeria including fringe sats TP where most of the tracking TP are dvbs/ mpeg2 broadcasts..except for eutelsat at 10east C band and 5east C band which are full of dvbs2 transponders!A dvbs sat finder can still see a dvbs2 signal..but it won't lock the transponder..at the moment dvbs/mpeg2 sat finder are still useful but don't track with dvbs2 TP!

Qsat has been a full HD decoder with a good quality picture but ma problem with the decoder is the drop in signal for example if strong decoder read 70% and qsat will show only 50%....
Pls! Is there any solution for this either software to boost the signal on qsat or anything we can do....

Qsat(s) is not full HD receiver compared with good quality receivers!
why will you prefer receivers that boost signal meter reading only..they are not good for tracking!new strong receivers meter readings and tuners are less sensitive/ poor compared to old ones...which are more sensitive with low meter reading compared with new models strong!Qsat meter is not good either! Qsat 23g can boost a weak signal upto on sq meter upto 98% which may drop to below 40% or so on old strong receiver!that will be misleading with qsat!However you should look at picture quality and stability not meter readings...lol..

If you track a satellite signal with a good sat finder..you will never go back to receivers..a good sat finder can lock a fec:3/4 tp with as low as 20% SQ and with a sensitive tuner! this will give more room for adjusting weak satellite signals! Now you see what I mean..lol

1cm?? you must be genius....lol anyway MBC is as easy as multi tv to nail. I nailed both bird with 1LNB (secondary) in a 5in1 setup on a 1m dish and i got MBC 80% & Multi tv 69-70%... Firstly track 12303 and hit max then input your 12522 then lower half inch if on a primary lnb but if otherwise raise your Lnb and you re good to go

on what type of receiver did you got mbc at 80%...at about 85% on old strong receiver on 12303 with 3m...i should be close to badr4/6!BBC and co!..probably he needs more than 100cm for MBC badr 5...@ his location!that is type of receiver vs location and dish size matters! while given reception report!for badr5 mbc hd..hehehe!

Ku band setting:9750/10600 universal
c band setting:5150 standard single

scanning c band signal/tp with Ku band (9750/10600) lo setting on the receiver will only convert c band to Ku band frequency..vice versa
