nilesat MBC still running with up to 66-70% signal quality on 3m pan with 4663x strong receiver in Onitsha anambra!...badr4 is a weak sat...

caid..is conditional access identity example nagra= 1800, powervu=0e00..biss=2600

or CAS/CAID :POWERVU or (0E00)
Provider Identity(powervu)=frequency of channel to open!
To identify powervu you have to use (0E00) as Caid=Cas(powervu) in modification!

..the receiver has to support powervu!Powervu CAID is (0E00)..if you have option to modify cas on your box this is the easy way out! fill the caid as (0e00) then complete the id and key lines etc!..if not another option is wait for patch or third party support!

" technomate and strong still use same GUI"you almost have technomate if you have strong receiver lol..strong may still have some limitations ..but Linux box can modify or use many unknown key..like jerrold,dtele,matra,tandberg,ntl,cceit,titan,cxcrypt,tongfang etc...bad side of Linux box may be very difficult for novice..you may have to do every modification yourself ...but strong still OK by having powervu support on some stb!

AFN:64.2east=1.8meter,22west=1.8meter...... you may need 1.8m to2.4m on 1west!...2.4m will work well for all channel on 64.2east and 1west and 34.5west c band!

.there is a possiblity of watching iptv channels and multimedia contents/channels using IPTV dvbs2 tuners with satellite dish and lnb via eutelsat w3a @ 7east through opensky broadsat..the services is not available in every region!

Change your decoder frequency to 11766h, 27500sr (bbcworld) and watch the signal bars as you go.
If it doesn't hit green after 4 or 5 notches, stop and come down again gradually until you get back to
the spot where you got 10992v on green and begin to go up again while adjusting the neck.Do this
until you hit green. If 11766h is proving difficult, try 11977v 27500sr (CNN). Try and lets see how it

Will be more difficult if faithchild track nilesat with 11977v & 11766 ...with nilesat201 tp migration tracking tp on 7west have changed..for the strongest tp what works well is 12226h/12149h and 11785 while 11977 and 11766 are hard fec:5/6 transponders..
Location is also a factor from nilesat coverage map the reception is coming from the north and north-east of Africa while the north africa beam moved/ stepped backwards unlike nilesat102.if he stays somewhere close to lagos or north-west nigeria will be more difficult getting nilesat201 reception from both coverage north Africa and east Africa coverage!..that is increased dish size at north-west Nigeria!

you will deduct few or 1 to 2% percentage of signal quality by allowing cable wires to pass through your dish..attach or pass the cable through the lnb arm as for the lnb if it is offset lnb then cut it you will gain 5 to 8% by doing so..though dish bracket is not correct, the pole should be on the center of the dish..but even, if you put it correctly..you will back will same result..either your dish is faulty or you have focal point to worry about..Nb I thought you have sat finder

"if the pole is plum,the neck shouldn't be the problem" previously my dish bend the pole from the neck (forward as if the dish is bowing to the ground )then I have to change the pole... then I was getting 91% on 10992 after replacing the pole with new one I am still getting 91% on 10992..using strong mpeg2 receiver!
And if you tilt your dish..you won't have that T shape you are talking about!the dish will still bend at a side on 0° degree or any angle..

guy.i believe u 100%.cos when i changed it on strong 4669xii. i got 88% on dat same tp 10992 v27500.the decoder i used was 4653x.

with 3m In anambra Onitsha plus SRT 4665x will give you 98% on 10992v27500 & all nilesat201 channels and few tp on 7.3west mena beam and just in-case there is less coverage of nilesat 201 at north west nigeria...
If you at the north west nigeria...you need more from that dish to pull nilesat201 mena beam!the 88% is just 78% on old strong mpeg2 receivers..your dish is not doing very well!....coverage zones is still a factor 88% can't give you nilesat at that location! still you may even struggle with nilesat201 with even 98% on 10992..while 88% on 10992 will get MBC 11938 nilesat201 mena beam in Enugu/Onitsha

yeah..you are correct is starsat but top TV was rebranded to starsat now owned by startimes after Top TV media went bankrupt..(Satellite provider info on some satellite receivers is still Top TV and the provider name on my STB is Top TV) ..for more details follow link below!

It is paytv channel starsat former top TV package..the channel was temporary FTA on ses5@5east ..it should be received with 60-80cm dish! on starsat/top tv decoder!

The rise and rise of startimes/starsat. The only medium to compete with DSTV.
Lower prices, more local content with iroko plus, iroko play, AMC series, AMC movies, etc. The sky is the limit but only need to improve on the digital picture quality.

Well Iroko play the picture quality is ok upto standard can be compared with dstv afro movie channels better than cine afri/cine plus,nollywood and the rest of them! my receiver sees those channels AMC/iroko/ etc as top TV package not starsat/startimes..probably there is a mix up somewhere!

I realise that Eutelsat 5WA NWA that host ENTV Algeria & other Northern African signals is also hosting Bein Sports HD1 & Bein Sports HD2 with other Channels with this Tip 11096 v 29950 but the issue isis i don't know the size of the dish that can track it from Accra or Lagos however I remember their was a forum member a year or two ago who use to post about FTA Live Matches on ENTV Algeria on this same Eutelsat 5 west & interestingly the Bein Sports Channels is operated with biss keys.

bein sports/hd is encrypted on viaccess 2.6/3.0 not biss encryption...but FTA on fransat decoder in europe...
last time I checked my BBC signal on nilesat201 was much stronger than entv on 5west Ku band! you may require 1.8 to 2.4m prime focus for entv steerable on 5west!though close to zamfara may need 1.2m offset as recommended dish size on steerable beam!
On bein sports Ku super beam I doubt any blink on 3m dish!

60% is the benchmark on my 4922. But hv got 76% on 11559, 57% stable on 11784 around noon later drop to 54% in the evening. While 11938 crack like hell.

I only experience drop in signal about -2% in the afternoon.. while +2% in the evening and morning especially on the horizontal transponders!..
And on 11938 cracking!if you are receiving very stable signal on 12284v try another lnb!

80cm will only give 10992v and11660v overall recommended dish size NWA beam=110cm!

The MBC sportspro 1 to 4 have been around close to a year after the actual MBCs left. From my observations I think you can only track those channels with bigger dishes... 1.8 and above. or if you can achieve a signal level of 81% and above for 10992v.

somehow!..on old strong boxes..signal quality at 46% will give clear picture on 10992 while difference in SQ Between11559 is 20%..which means at 66% on 10992 ..11559 should working at 46%..which gives 56% on some of the new strong receivers or over 76% on 10992 to be able to lock 11559 at 56%!
