from your location ..it is better you use 3meter dish or above for nilesat 102 and 201@ 7west!...MBC channels are currently on nilesat 102 @ 7west.. but MBC Will move cos there will be permanent blackouts on nilesat 102 before September 2015!keep your fingers crossed... hehehe!

Talenty: I bought C/Ku lnb. My aim was to track arabsat 5c & eutelsat 21B (MBC Movies) with 1.8 meters at Benin city. It was a futile effort as MBC refuse to pop up.

MBC may be on multi-stream on eutelsat21b at 21.5east ...though one broadband frequency is active on west Africa beam dish size 75cm(11610H6200) you should have used it as track frequency with Ku band lnb before buying C/Ku lnb! wide beam may require 2.4meter dish!

"this is the reason why they produce multiple independent port lnbs! twin/quad/octo" etc depending on lnb output up to 8 receivers can be connected,using one lnb on one dish

Use one decoder to lnb, inline satellite signal amplifier ..connect in the middle of the cable close to the lnb...signal quality will increase! (use an amplifier of 20dB gain or more for better signal)

1. you may have used long cable run with your installation...

2. or you have joined cables..

3. or old or damaged lnb cable...

4. where lnb gain is low ...

above factors may reduce signal quality in satellite instillations...inline amplifier signal booster may solve drop in signal quality in long cable especially where lnb gain is low..or you may need to replace lnb if necessary or check your cables..

graphicicon: ok, the decoder is poping green on AIT TP which is 11.008 V 30.000, and also the decoder is poping green on RDV TP which is 10.804 H 30.000, but it is not poping green on multi tv TP which is 12.522 V 27.000, so do the mathematics now to see what am talking about, remember when u plug another decoder on that the same dish every TP is poping green, and also i have upgraded it to latest firmware from crosat.us

you have a bad STB tuner including a diseqc switch that performs poor on a high band frequencies ..though a typical sat diseqc switch operates on a frequency range of 950~2150Mhz...purchase good quality or another different brand of diseqc switch..

Irib varzesh is not running on hotbird-13east,same reason why bein sports left hotbird-13east(No EPL rights across Europe)this makes these channels null on 13East!..

If you have C band antenna these channels are free on IS901 @ 18west..ebony TV ..tv3 Ghana...Ghana TV /Intelsat 901@18west..

your best option is star gold Fuji..pauxis prime focus is also good!

Though I use inverto black ultra quad lnb with modified feed on my 3m pan dish which is better than star gold Fuji lnb or inverto red classics c120 lnb..where inverto red is better than star gold Fuji...though inverto lnbs are not available in Nigeria..

at the edge of coverage zone gives 350cm/3.5m...that means you needs at least 5meter prime focus dish for ptv sports on 38east! in Nigeria....

akplatnum2005: Here is another flashing MBC signal 7west 11958V27500.

..is that not same MBC frequency on 11938V27500 on nilesat 7west causing interference with frequency11958v...this is the reason why broadcast satellite providers space downlink frequencies out in a transmitting satellite in orbit to avoid interference.. if frequencies are close to each other or same they use different polarization to avoid signals interfering with each other....if there is a signal transmitting on 11958V27500 and your dish can lock both frequencies, you would have got issues receiving both signals at same time with your receiver!

Talenty: Nobody is doubting ur expertise but know that satellite technology is a practical sequence. If you gat prove show us. All of us are learning and nobody has a monopoly of knowledge

of-course there are no proof ..he is just quoting Ku band frequencies that are not applicable to a particular satellite and a frequency that can interfere with adjacent satellites!..hahaha!

Why not track Intelsat 20 @ 68.5east KU band for MFM frequency / symbol rate; 12602V26657 and more Christian TV CH..

or Telstar 11N @ 37.5west 10965 V 3300
Dish size 60 to 90cm dish!

Africasat 1a at 46east has too Christian channels! on lyngsat/flysat

Yonderguy: Do you have MBC pro sport? If yes input this Tp 12088 V 27512. Then you are good to go.
Now with regards to what Odilibe posted earlier, try using another KU satellite hence I used Nilesat.

@Mr yonderguy....if this frequency you post exist on eutelsat at 7.3west as Mbc channel frequency .it will interfere with AD frequency on nilesat 201 which is 12092 V 27500...

...lol the funny part of this post is that eutelsat @ .. 7.3west,the downlink frequency of the sat is from 10700Mhz to 12500Mhz so the satellite cannot use the frequency above 12500Mhz,that is frequency:12560 V 27500..

@freddygaz...this frequency can't belong to 7.3west NWA beam cos of Horizontal polarity of the frequency 11902/27500..

seems like you locked 7.5west or 8west! from your location just checking...

..to track nilesat use aljazeera TP 10992 vertical 27500 on eutelsat at 7.3west..when you lock the Tp...adjust dish/lnb for best signal quality ...now input MBC Tp 11938 vertical 27500, then move the dish @-0.3degree upwards for MBC on nilesat...

You should have seen this coming :DIt is just a thought , but very obvious that MBC group have dealt with Azam Media on Eutelsat @ 7east to broadcast MBC channels on the Azam bouquet as pay channel ..the point is that since MBC movie channel are scrambled on eutelsat @ 7east as pay channel which covers west africa(sub sahara africa) with smaller satellite dish ..it may not remain as a free to air channel on (same region) on Eutelsat @ 7.3west west africa beam...cos of demand of subscription fee to view MBC movies and other channels under Azam media package..Otherwise cross boundaries with a bigger antenna for MBC free channel on nilesat 7west...

Talenty: Somebody should tell MBC that we don't need their rubbish football league. They should bring back our movie channels to us. They should air those matches to MENA viewers.

....But MBC movie channels are scrambled with nagra on azamTv package at 7east africa beam right! ..and previous fta at 7.3west,north west Africa beam ....this may have damaged MBC broadcast as FTA channel on 7.3west! since 7east beam covers west africa!the issue may not be the mbc pro channels anyways! so needs to watch out for AzamTv package..lol

Blackshort: Don't 4get that, no premium channel is encrypted in Biss so your propsal is dead on arrival!

...not actually the case some premium channels are encrypted on biss where some are used as feed. ...and your dish will be on fringe reception ..lolzz

Talenty: I stumbled on a receiver called FRETEK that opens Multi TV Tv3 without biss key. I was told it opens every biss key enabled channel without manually imputing biss key.

"that means the box is patched with biss softcam key to open channel"....

Will be testing few lnb(s) next week with sat link ws-6096 dvbs only sat-finder...lol

ln the meantime someone may kindly give me any name of best Ku offset lnb available here ... need to compare few lnb(s) with Mti lnb...

aside from supermax C band and strong C lnb any new C band available?lol... to compare with esx C band lnb..

graphicicon: why are broadcasting on multistream self, apart from this mbc can u use that multistream decoder to do any other thing good, or they just want us to waste our money going for multistream decoder.

Note that..multistream receivers can track any frequency aside from multistream including Dvbs/Dvbs2/VCM..etc...more channel capacity per frequency one frequency can handle up to 4 independent stream!...

If you check a Satellite Tranpsonder it may state as broadcasting on multistream modulation and multiple mpeg4/2 transport streams ...one frequency can have upto 4 independent streams that is stream 1, stream 2 stream 3 and stream 4...each stream having different channels, where the receiver have to do upto 4 scans on same frequency to extract this channels.....

There is one multistream broadcast on intelsat 22 c band..others are mostly europe satellite beams or eutelsat 12 west A at 12.5west you need bigger dish size for this...
